Join Jim and Greg for Thursday's 3 Martini Lunch as they react to the House narrowly passing President Trump's Big Beautiful Bill, shocking anti-Semitic murders in Washington, a humiliating naval blunder for North Korea, and Delaware Sen. Chris Coons still trying to defend Joe Biden's re-election bid.First, after noting the House passage of the administration's top legislative priority and two Republicans inexplicably missing the vote, they recoil at the horrifying murders of two Israeli embassy employees in Washington. The alleged shooter reportedly shouted “Free Free Palestine” while being arrested. Jim highlights the ongoing danger posed to Jewish Americans and anyone who associates with them as unabashed anti-Semitism rages on college campuses and beyond.Next, they lighten things up with reports of a North Korean warship getting severely damaged during a launch ceremony attended by Kim Jong-Un. The failed launch is a major embarrassment for the regime. But while public humiliation for Kim is welcome news, Jim and Greg note the grim likelihood that those blamed for the incident will face brutal punishment. Finally, they get a kick out of Delaware Sen. Chris Coons, one of Biden's closest allies, dodging questions about his post-debate remarks insisting Biden could still serve another term. Coons now says he doesn't want to "relitigate" the past but focus on the future. Please visit our great sponsors:It's free, online, and easy to start—no strings attached. Since reports emerged that Chinese President Xi Jinping allegedly directed the People's Liberation Army to prepare for an invasion of Taiwan by 2027, the United States has ramped up efforts to ensure Taiwan has the resources and support it needs to defend itself. On Capitol Hill, Senators Pete Ricketts (R-NE) and Chris Coons (D-DE), both members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, are leading that charge with The PORCUPINE Act, a bill designed to streamline arms sales to Taiwan and bolster its defensive capabilities. Sen. Coons and Sen. Ricketts join Bret to discuss why arming Taiwan is one of the most effective steps the U.S. can take to deter aggression in the region. They also weigh in on former President Biden's recent diagnosis, and the U.S. decision to formally accept a jet from Qatar. Follow Bret on X: @BretBaier Learn more about your ad choices. Palantir (PLTR) is "the stock that seems to be able to do no wrong," says Adam Coons. Markets are pricing in a 13% move post-earnings but he expects that move to be even bigger. However, if that move is to the downside, Adam says it can be "very detrimental to the stock" due to its ballooning valuation. Tom White offers a pair of example options trades for Palantir.======== Schwab Network ========Empowering every investor and trader, every market day.Options involve risks and are not suitable for all investors. A Day Inside Lori Vallow Daybell's Trial: The Photos, the Bullets, and the Warnings “You have a habit of adding things to witness answers, and when you do that, it's a form of testifying,” Judge Beresky told Lori Vallow Daybell in the final moments of the day, as court wrapped after a marathon of cross-examinations, autopsy details, and crime scene photos. By the time court adjourned at 4:34 p.m., Lori had spent hours at the podium cross-examining Chandler Police Detective Daniel Coons, trying to challenge the state's version of how Charles Vallow was shot and killed. It was her chance to unravel details about bullet trajectories, the positioning of shell casings, and whether her brother Alex Cox could've plausibly been where he claimed when the shots were fired. Coons held firm: the bullet trajectories were consistent with Charles being shot while lying on the floor, one bullet embedding in a baseboard. The shells? Just inches from the wall. And the gun, a .45 caliber semiautomatic, ejected to the right—not left, like Lori suggested might have mattered. At one point, Lori veered into the realm of firearms training, asking if center mass is what police are taught to aim for. Coons confirmed, yes—it's about stopping the threat. Then she asked if novice shooters are taught the same. He said no. It was a brief window into the angle she seemed to be aiming for, though the judge regularly reminded her to keep her own commentary out of the questioning. Photos of the home were admitted—over a hundred of them. Exterior shots. The front door. A Reebok hat on the floor. Blood pooling around Charles' body. A bat nearby. Projectiles in baseboards. Bullet casings marked with yellow placards. And in one particularly dramatic moment, a chunk of flooring was presented in court. It had been cut out to preserve a mark that investigators said was made by a bullet passing through Charles' body. Lori objected to some of the photos being admitted but was mostly overruled. The judge said the images helped the jury visualize the scene. She used some of the same photos in her cross, trying to push back on Coons' conclusions, asking if divots in walls or trajectories could have occurred differently, if maybe the shooter wasn't where Coons said. He stood his ground. Earlier in the day, Chandler Fire Captain Kent Keller testified about Charles' condition when medics arrived. Lividity and skin modeling were already setting in. His pupils were fixed. No electrical activity in the heart. CPR was initiated but quickly deemed futile. According to Keller, there was no indication anyone had attempted life-saving efforts before the fire crew arrived. The positioning of Charles' body, the small pool of blood, and the condition of his skin all suggested death had occurred some time before. Lori pressed Keller hard on the science of lividity and modeling. Could it happen in just a few minutes? Would medication change how the body looked? She floated the idea that maybe CPR had been done, just not effectively. Keller, and another paramedic named Cowden, said they saw no signs of it. In fact, they testified that effective CPR would've caused more bleeding—blood would've been forced out by the compressions. There just wasn't any, aside from the pooling underneath. At one point, Cowden described performing CPR while another EMT prepared the heart monitor. He said Charles was found with a baseball bat and ball cap nearby, but no one else was in the room. The house was otherwise empty, aside from officers clearing it. His account was backed up by Keller, who described the scene as calm, with the main objective being to assess, perform CPR, and confirm the lack of vital signs. Throughout the day, Lori tried to walk the line between playing defense attorney and defendant. She questioned procedure, timing, blood patterns, CPR protocols, and scene diagrams. But the judge frequently reminded her about courtroom boundaries. When she asked whether someone had spoken to the media, the judge called for a sidebar. When she objected to Coons' expert testimony, the judge ruled against her but gave her space to cross-examine thoroughly. As court neared the end, a small issue arose: subpoenas had been sent by the defense to detectives, but without contact info. The judge told Lori to have her investigator handle it. Also, she was reminded to flag any photo exhibits she needed by the following morning. With that, court adjourned. #LoriVallow #CharlesVallow #CrimeScene #TrueCrimeCourtroom Want to listen to ALL of our podcasts AD-FREE? President Trump floats a 3rd term, Progressives try to take down Tesla, and a democrat lets the mask slip. Trolling or out of touch? That is the question with this week's "did they really just say that" moments.
Ohhhh this is a hot, hot, hot topic in the Maine Coon world! Here are some takes from both sides about the spicy debate of breeding Dominant Blue Eyes in Maine Coons

We open the show as we often do on Friday's with a nod to Tara Bull's Top 10 News stories the Legacy/mainstream media did not cover this week, or, if they did, they didn't cover them well. We then jump into the Brett Baier interview with both Elon Musk and then the senior leadership of the DOGE team. While this administration is trying to remove fraud, waste, corruption, abuse and bureaucracy, Jon Stewart found himself aghast at the sheer number of hoops Democrats created in their bill to put broadband into every rural area of our country. Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) got schooled when joining CNBC's Squawk Box today. Seems Democrats don't like being called out for a lack of consistency. Radical domestic terrorists on the Left believe destroying property is an acceptable form of protest. According to one woman, they are just cars. Well, AG Pam Bondi wants everyone to know, there will be no plea deals. The DOJ is going to push for 20 year sentences. Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) is still on his comedy tour and we hope he keeps it up. He wants his party to know the reason they lost is they did not go WOKE enough. He also says we need a shadow government to push everything through without having to deal with opposition. Finally, to show another difference between Trump 45 and Trump 47, we learn Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) is going to have her name withdrawn to be the UN Ambassador. She not only understands it, she supports it. Please take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. When it comes to Tesla's (TSLA) sell-off from its delivery miss, Adam Coons says he's "surprised it's not down more." He believes the company's massive 2024 rally is tied to expectations of deregulation and full self-driving under President-elect Donald Trump. Adam calls Crowdstrike (CWRD) a measurable way to trade in the A.I. space. She was dubbed “The Black Garbo” and was the first African-American performer to receive a five-year contract with MGM. Yet because of racism and miscegenation codes, she was unable to gain a mainstream status. In this week's episode I have Jacob Coons of the Hunt Detail podcast on to discuss the tactics we like to utilize during the month of October. We discuss finding isolated food sources, like preferred feed trees. We also discuss identifying habitat and terrain traps to see more deer using a limited food source. We talk about keying in on specific feed trees, even when there's an absolute bumper crop of acorns. Jacob and I discuss around what time of the month we like to start transition to a more "Pre-Rut" style of hunting, and what that looks like for us. We talk about different types of scrapes, hunting scrape lines, making mock scrapes and hunting cruising funnels. All in all a good conversation with Jacob that I hope yall enjoy! Happy October!! We're joined this week by Delaware Senator Chris Coons, chairman of the Senate Ethics Committee. This week in our battleground state... Michigan TV stations are raking in the cash with campaign spending well over $200-million, fueled by close races for President, U.S. Senate and congressional districts and control of the state legislature. The Harris campaign reports it has raised a staggering $1-billion in 7 weeks. Michigan is also getting massive personal attention from the national campaigns, with candidates and surrogates making campaign visits on an almost daily basis. Republicans are hoping concerns over electric vehicles will put them over the top in Michigan, with both JD Vance and Mike Rogers calling for reneging on a federal promise of $500-million for upgrading Lansing's General Motors downtown assembly plant. Rogers is battling a new carpetbagger charge with the revelation that the house he claims as his home doesn't even have an occupancy permit And in the Bizarro World that is Donald Trump, the week's four strangest developments: The Kremlin confirms Trump sent COVID test equipment for Putin's personal use even as Americans were unable to get tested Republican governors and U.S. Senators praise the federal response to the two hurricanes in direct contradiction of Trump's claims; President Biden calls Trump a liar It turns out Trump's $60 “God Bless the USA” Bibles are being printed in China And when Trump said on a podcast that he's a very truthful person, the podcast host breaks out in laughter Slotkin, Rogers spar in Michigan U.S. Senate debate. Kristine brings a unique and needed perspective with her medical expertise in understanding gender dysphoria and the nuance of defining gender/biological sex—along with her own experience being transgender. Kristine also talks about how the new transgender policies negatively impact her (and many other transgender Latter-day Saints) causing her to feel demeaned and a second-class citizen—something Kristine doesn't feel in the other circles where Kristine serves.
