If you've been wanting to walk in the world of monsters and bad reviewers - you're in the right place! This week we have yet another very special episode as we welcome back a legendary guest of the show's… and that's our good monster buddy Big Liz (aka Godzilla). He's back in one of his better outings with Godzilla: King of the Monsters! With several of his monster friends and foes being released all around the globe, it's up to a small group of monster hunters and scientists to help G-Man defeat the baddies and reign as king once again. I've said it before and I'll probably say it again and again… I absolutely love monster movies! They are nowhere near perfect or some of the best movies there ever were, but man, they are just so dang fun. This has to be one of my favorite big monster flicks of all time with not only the number of monsters we get to see or the fantastic fights and visuals, but just how well they keep our beloved, big, baddies in the limelight for most of the movie. While some may argue there was no plot, poor dialogue and the worst character development, I just have one thing to say to them - I'm here for the MONSTERS! Can Godzilla defeat Ghidora, reclaim his crown as king and drop a monster royal rumble on these bad reviewers? Tune in to find out! If you enjoyed the episode, please rate and share! It goes such a long way and I am so grateful for all of the support. And hey, if you do leave a review of the show, you will be featured as well! How neat is that? Also, be sure to give my official Ko-Fi page a gander. There you can get access to all kinds of cool perks and prizes from your very own shoutout on the show to choosing which movie I cover next. When Rage was just a kid, he was dying to see the Godzilla film starring King Ghidora, or that three-headed dragon monster. Well, then he saw it. It was mostly awesome. Once the monster showed up. To close off Monster Mayhem, Ethan and Rage will give you sickies a double-does of g with Godzilla and Ghidora. Apologies for the first posting mistake that was only me speaking. If you want a challenge, listen to just me and wonder what Ethan was saying.

Derek continues his chat with artist and monster kid Tom Biegler about 1963's Matango (dir. Ishirō Honda). There seems to be something about these monster movies that inspires monster kids to create, and Tom has created a 24-hour sculpt inspired by Matango. You'll have to listen to this episode to learn how you can win this Matango Mini Bust! Also in this episode, Larry Underwood (aka Dr. Gangrene) swings by for a game of the Classic Five, and Derek talks about two 1950s science fiction films he's watched recently - World Without End (dr. Artist and monster kid Tom Biegler invited Derek to his home theater to watch a movie Derek had never seen before - 1963's Matango (dir. Ishirō Honda). Despite having a lifelong love of classic horror movies, Derek's experience with Japanese monsters has been limited up until recently. Tom is helping Derek to expand his monster movie horizons by sitting him down in front of a movie featuring one of Derek's near-phobias - mushrooms.
