Today's podcast is from three separate speakers. For our Global Village Sunday, we had Pam and Phil Bailey from Gideons Bible Society share with us the value of this great work of placing Bibles in schools, hotels, and other locations. Their passion was incredible. Then we heard an outstanding message from David Myers from Open Doors ministry. Open Doors has been caring for and supporting the persecuted church in the world for many decades. This message from Dave was centred on the promise of persecution, which, Biblically speaking, will grow the Kingdom! Jesus said: “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad because great is your reward.” Matthew 5:11-12 TPT Further to that, we read that “If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.” I Peter 4:14 NIV Lastly, we heard from our dear friends, Ken and Jan Wigley from Iris Ministries. Maria interviewed them about the character of a warrior and some of their experiences in saying yes to Jesus as an older couple who love to go to the frontline.
We were honoured to have Pamela Maxwell, one of the leaders of Iris Ministries, and a team from Iris to minister at Shofar East London. Enjoy having your faith stirred and the Lord Jesus continue His supernatural ministry in your midst.

Ramito Macamo -Ramito shared a lot of miracles that happened in bible happened in Mozambique and Ramito also hoped that we can be rooted in God's heart and therefore God will dwell in our heart, so that we can understand how deep, how wide, how long is the love of God, so wherever we go and everything that we do, may the love be the fragrance that expresses the presence of God.(Ramito Macamo grew up at Iris-Ministries in Mozambique. He was 4 years old when his mother left him in the public orphanage that Heidi and Rolland Baker, the founders of Iris-Ministries, ran since 1995. At age 14 he became a local leader and started preaching and taking evangelism teams to neighboring tribes. At Iris-Ministries Ramito served as the Values In Action Program leader (a Bible teaching program) as well as a coordinator for groups of local pastors and missionaries to evangelize in the largest hospital in Maputo. Ramito has witnessed God operate miraculously since the foundation of Iris ministries until now as the churches in Mozambique are experiencing full rival. His life is a testimony of God’s work in Mozambique through Iris-Ministries.)
