Reviewers: Scooter Mann, LJ Donnell, Verity Sainte Marie, Austin Travis, and Max Baskin Editing: David Allen Show-runner Information * Who's the show-runner(s) and what is their title? JC De La Torre, Creator and Head Writer Show Information * What is the story of why you started your show? Continuum Force was a show four years in the making. When we started, there weren't many audio dramas doing time travel. As ubergeeks, we had a love for Doctor Who and Stargate SG-1. We thought what would be better than combining the two concepts, sprinkle in a bit of Ancient Alien theory and alt-history to make a fun, thrilling adventure. Unfortunately, one of our main actors took ill and eventually passed away. We're happy to say we were able to use some of his audio in episode one because doing this project without him was just unacceptable. You'll hear him as the wild pirate Charles Vane. In addition to visiting different points in history and playing around with what-if scenarios, we also wanted to bring attention to a lesser-known aspect of the LGBTQIA community with one of our characters, Lesley Barber. The character is ACE, and one of the storylines will hang a lantern on it to help educate people on what that means. * When did this show first air? 1/8/2019 * What genre(s) apply to your show: Military Sci-Fi, Time-Travel Episode Information * What's the name of the episode you want us to use? Wheel in the Sky * What is the episode number (and season if applicable)? S1E9 Special Guests: Austin Travis, David Allen, LJ Donnell, Max Baskin, and Verity Sainte Marie.

This is JC De La Torre, Creator of Vampires of White Chapel, which follows FBI Agent Arianna Grayson as she hunts the serial killer, Allister the Annihilator but gets more than she bargains for. She discovers he's a vampire, sired by the notorious murderer Jack The Ripper. Grayson is pulled into the world of the vampires and the show follows her story as an unwilling fledgling, Allister's fall to monstrosity and the real history of Jack and his vampire origins. This is Episode 9, Face your Fears. Arianna's former partner LaRissa Cantello is hunting her down for killing fellow agent Carl Ambrose and is in league with the vampire hunter Thomas Grosvernor. JC De La Torre is the creator, head writer and producer of the Continuum Force and the Vampires of White Chapel audio dramas. He is an author (Ancient Rising), creator of the IDW comic series Star Mage, and with his wife, Rita, a filmmaker (Seekers of the Lost Worlds and the animated series version of Star Mage). JC’s previous voice acting credits include Buzz in Continuum Force, Rick in Doctor Geek’s Laboratory and various background characters in Vampires of White Chapel. He is also a composer and will be composing all the music in Season Two for both his shows. INT. THE CONTINUUM BUZZ: Buzz Borman here. Stuck on the Continuum again while the rest of the team goes galivanting across Ancient Egypt. Probably seeing the Exodus or battling alien spaceships as they build the pyramids. Don’t look at me like that – you know it’s true. And all I have is this stupid A.I. to talk to. Sally, are you there? Sally: DA. Buzz: So what are we going to talk about? Sally: I’m not speaking to you. Buzz: That’s just great. Now what do I do? Narrator: This episode of Listen Rinse Repeat was voiced and written by JC De La Torre of Continuum Force. It includes the voice of Calliope Collacott as Sally.

Beep of a recorder. Cantello: Gio, There are vampires. They’re real. They’re not all sparkly and chatting up teenage girls, either. They’re more like animals, transforming into these hideous creatures that don’t just bite your neck but tear you limb from limb. Grosvernor believes Arianna is one of them. Turned by the serial killer she was chasing, Allister Connacher. I will find them and end them both for what they did to Carl. I swear it. This is JC De La Torre, Creator of Vampires of White Chapel. This show is about a young FBI agent, Arianna Grayson, who is unwillingly turned into a vampire by Allister the Annihilator, a serial killer she was hunting. Allister suffered a similar fate in the late 1890's, when Jack The Ripper, a vampire himself, offered Allister the choice - live as a vampire or die in horrible agony. What would you choose? The sample episode we're providing is Episode 4 The Taking of Arianna Grayson, pt. 2. Grayson and her fellow agent, Carl Ambrose, are tracking down Allister. Allister had just escaped into an alleyway and Grayson gave chase, but the vampire has disarmed her. Music in this episode (and every episode of Vampires of White Chapel) is by the epic goth band Midnight Syndicate. Katte Noel plays Arianna. Alexander Doddy is Allister. We hope you enjoy Vampires of White Chapel. http://vampiresofwhitechapel.transmissionsfromatlantis.com/
This is JC De La Torre, Head Writer and Creator of Continuum Force. This show is about a military team of time travellers who discover that aliens are going into our past and changing key events to modify the course of human history. Their job is to defend our fabric of reality from this threat and restore the timeline. The sample episode we are providing is episode 9 - Wheel in the Sky. In an attempt to learn more about the alien threat, the team decides to investigate the biblical and apocryphal accounts of the prophet Ezekiel and his fiery wheel in the sky. The episode is written by Dr. Scott Viguie, produced, directed and edited by myself and Rita De La Torre and stars Marcus Salley as Connor Dannard and special guest star Pete Lutz. We hope you enjoy Continuum Force Wheel in the Sky. http://continuumforce.transmissionsfromatlantis.com/

In this episode of The Comics Alternative, the third of what promises to be an unprecedented five consecutive shows for a single week, Derek and Andy W. discuss four new #1 and one-shot issues. First, they look at Christopher Sebela and Chris Visions's Dead Letters (BOOM! Studios), focusing on the story's clever use of narrative gaps and art-driven action. Then they turn to Shutter (Image Comics), a new series from Joe Keatinge teams up with debut artist Leila del Duca. The guys love the initial setup, but nonetheless wanted more story in this inaugural issue. From there they delve into JC De La Torre and Ray Dillon's Star Mage from IDW Publishing, and what promises to be an intriguing new sci-fi title. Finally, Derek and Andy wrap up with a long discussion of Richard Corben's latest adaptation, Edgar Allan Poe's The Premature Burial (Dark Horse Comics). They point out that the issue also includes an adaption of “The Cask of Amontillado” — in fact, “Cask” takes up more of the issue than does the titular feature — and that it works in similar ways to the other recent Corben adaptations of Poe for Dark Horse, leading up to the fall publication of the collection, Edgar Allan Poe's Spirit of the Dead (Dark Horse Books). The Two Guys had a great time discussing these new comics, and you can join in on the fun as well by lending your ear to this week's review show.
