Spiritual friendship – See the Spirit's work in real time as lives are changed. Connecting with other men in church. Why is community so important? The ripple effects of a Christ centered life are amazing.
Some of the first words you will find when you open a bible is that humankind shouldn't be alone. And yet we live in a society that is increasingly lonely. God's call to us is to be the people of the community first and foremost. Because vitality and goodness come out of togetherness. A church rooted in the community is needed more than ever in our society. Not tomorrow... but now. Phoenix Bible Church - Life In Community (Week One) by Phoenix Bible Church
Almost every September we do a short series together on Sundays and in our Communities around our Core Priorities: Gospel Formation, Life in Community, and Everyday Mission. Our desire is to continue year after year to return to the key aspects of following Jesus with an intention to wrap our heads, hearts, and lives around him and his work in the world. 1 Peter is written to “elect exiles,” disciples of Jesus who are scattered all around the Roman Empire, trying to figure out how to follow Jesus in a world radically opposed to Him and His way. He writes to remind them of the Story they are in and the work God has done for them, and to call them to live with a whole-life allegiance to Jesus and His Kingdom.
There is strength and encouragement in community if you'll simply make time to pursue it. What are you doing to live your life in a community of believers?See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
In this session of the Mission City Podcast, Campus Pastors Dave Cash and Chuck Foster discuss what it looks like to live life in community with other believers.

Serving on a team of college aged students provides an opportunity for growth that few other jobs can offer. Tune in to learn more about how we've learned to live in a healthy community!
