Daily Soap Opera Spoilers by Soap Dirt (GH, Y&R, B&B, and DOOL)
Click to Subscribe: https://bit.ly/Youtube-Subscribe-SoapDirt Days of our Lives sees there is growing speculation about the potential return of the iconic character Stefano DiMera, previously played by the late Joseph Mascolo. The queen of the night dreams haunting Marlena Evans, played by Deidre Hall, are a major hint of a possible return of the Phoenix. In addition, the Arabian Knights book, previously used for mind control by Stefano, has been spotted, and there is increased attention on Stefano's portrait at the mansion on the NBC Peacock soap opera. DOOL sees Stefano's essence was once implanted into Steve Johnson, portrayed by Stephen Nichols, as a part of an intriguing storyline. The recent dreams of Marlena Evans and the focus on Stefano's portrait suggest a similar plan could be in the works. Dr. Wilhelm Rolf, played by Richard Wharton, previously attempted to bring Stefano back using Steve Johnson as a vessel. Given his history, it is plausible that Dr. Rolf could be working on another plan to resurrect Stefano. Days of our Lives also hints at the possible return of Stefan DiMera, Stefano's son with Vivian Alamain, currently played by Louise Sorel. Stefan's absence in Alamania, where he was presumed to be, raises questions about his whereabouts. Other potential characters who could be turned into Stefano include Gwen Rizczech's missing husband Dimitri von Leuschner DiMera, played by Peter Porte, and Tony DiMera, portrayed by Thaao Penghlis. Harvey Brownstone conducts a second in-depth interview with Tony Orlando, Superstar Recording Artist and Entertainer About Harvey's guest: Today's special guest, Louise Sorel, is a multi-award winning and beloved actress who's been dazzling audiences for over 6 decades. Over the past 2 ½ years, we've had close to 300 guests on our show, and ALL of them have been an absolute pleasure to meet, and to interview. But NO ONE has generated the intense emotional response, and overwhelming outpouring of love, that Tony Orlando created when he first appeared on our show a little while ago. Tony and I both believe that something magical happened during that interview, because what you were witnessing, was the realization, by a legendary artist, possibly for the first time, of the very significant impact his career has had within the entertainment industry, and for his fans. You were also witnessing the creation - in real time - of a deep and powerful friendship – a bonding of two hearts. Both he and I were INUNDATED, not only with thousands of comments from fans expressing just how much that interview meant to them – but with an equal number of requests that we invite him back on our show to continue that very special conversation. In fact, a number of devoted Tony Orlando fans have sent me several pages of questions they would like me to ask him. And I'm INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL that this BEAUTIFUL human being has agreed to, once again, take the time out of his very busy concert schedule, to appear on our show. And so, by popular demand, I am THRILLED and VERY HONOURED to welcome back to our show, my very dear friend, the SUPER FABULOUS Tony Orlando. Harvey Brownstone conducts an in-depth interview with Louise Sorel, Multi-Award Winning Veteran Stage, Screen and TV Star About Harvey's guest: Today's special guest, Louise Sorel, is a multi-award winning and beloved actress who's been dazzling audiences for over 6 decades. She first conquered Broadway in “Take Her, She's Mine” opposite Art Carney. Her other stage roles include “Lorenzo”, “Man and Boy”, which she did in London, and “The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window” on Broadway opposite Rita Moreno. She also co-starred with George C. Scott and Colleen Dewhurst on the stage in “The Lion in Winter”. She then began a long and successful career in Hollywood. On the big screen, you've seen her in “The Party's Over”, “B.S. I Love You”, “Plaza Suite”, “Airplane 2: The Sequel”, “Crimes of Passion”, and the 1984 remake of “Where the Boys Are”. On television, she's guest starred in everything from “Dr. Kildare”, “The Fugitive” and “Bonanza”, to “Star Trek”, “Knots Landing”, “Law and Order” and “Sabrina the Teenage Witch”. She even played Don Rickles' wife on his 1972 sitcom. And she's starred in many TV movies including “The Return of Charlie Chan”, “The Mark of Zorro”, “A Masterpiece of Murder”, “Sunset Limousine” and “Mazes and Monsters”. But there's NO QUESTION that our guest has become a LEGEND in the world of daytime drama – first as the eternally hopeless nosy meddling neighbour, “Augusta Wainright” on “Santa Barbara” - and then, as the strong willed District Attorney Judith Russell Sanders on “One Life to Live”, and then - in her most unforgettable role EVER - as the flashy, aggressive, cold and calculating evil family matriarch, “Vivian Alamain” in “Days of Our Lives”. Her opulent, villainous, show-stopping performances on that show have won her 5 CONSECUTIVE Soap Opera Digest Awards, including "Outstanding Villainess", "Outstanding Showstopper" and TWICE for "Outstanding Scene Stealer".
