His resurrection secured our faith because He was exactly who He professed to be.   His resurrection was to convict us to believe the totality of who He is, so that we would accept His commission without any reservation, and that commission was for us to feed His sheep.  We pat ourselves on the back when we involve ourselves in any program regarding the feeding of the hungry and homeless, and that is commendable, but Jesus specifically referred to feeding his sheep, feeding the people the bread of life, the Word of God, and nurturing their souls. The words feed my sheep support the message of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age." This is not an exclusive assignment for Pastors, Bishops, Apostles, or any other religious elite; this is a mandate for all believers.We profess to love God, believe He was Jesus and flesh, but do you love enough to study the word of God so that you can stock your spiritual pantry to feed his sheep.Do honor the sacrifice Jesus made on that cross enough to reserve some time/ daily with just you and him, not just you praying and asking of Him, but time when you are reading His word and meditating to hear from HimAs believers, we don't just celebrate the resurrection; we honor it with our lives. December 25th wasn't randomly picked from a divine calendar. The early church intentionally aligned Christmas with a Roman pagan holiday. Now, don't get so spiritual that you get stuck on that fact. They were not trying to blend in; they wanted to flip the script. Their goal? Turn a celebration of the unholy into a party for the Holy One. But fast forward, Christians, believers, and children of God have allowed unholiness to reclaim the celebration.  It's the RSVPs of believers that have the biggest impact on whether holiness or unholiness is exalted. Did you know that 90% of adults in the U.S. profess to be Christians, talk about the power of influence, imagine if 90% of the 90% was intentional about reclaiming December 25th to celebrate the birth of a Savior, we have the bandwidth to breathe holiness back into Christmas.  But we need to ask ourselves what are we doing individually to contribute to the holiness of the celebration.www.BibleDeliverance.org

It doesn't take much to put Christ back in Christmas. Read the story of His birth in Luke 2. Pray in His name, have a cake with Happy Birthday Jesus inscribed, acknowledge his birth in your dinner grace, and Sing songs that glorify Him. Teach your children about Him, and let them know Santa and the elf are sidekicks but that Jesus is the reason for the season. I encourage you, no - I am begging you to invite Jesus into your homes, hearts, and celebrations and add to your traditions. We cannot honor the birth of Christ without being committed to the body of the church, without being an active member not who just talk about what they believe, but as members of the body of Christ, members of the church Jesus came to build, is not about talking its about walking out what you profession. Wherever you go, bring joy, elevate peace, talk about the examples of Christ, and maybe even exalt a little humor.  These things remind the world that Jesus didn't come to construct buildings and coordinate services and events; He came to transform lives and its lives that are the soul and the essence of the church.Let's bow together this morning, united as His church, in celebratory worship. Yesterday, you received an inspirational image about closing and opening doors. Well, I've been thinking about that message, and it got me going a little deeper—so buckle up and ride with me for moment.You know, life is like a house with a bunch of doors.
