Tyrant trålet Sunset Strip sammen med Guns'n'Roses, Slayer, Mötley Crüe og Metallica lenge før de ble store. Gruppa startet som et coverband, men ble lei av at folk ropte på Maiden når det tross alt var dem selv som rigget utstyr og spilte. Dermed var det bare å kle seg i lær og skrive egen musikk. Fritz-Ragnvald Rimala Pettersen spiller i Attan og driver rockebaren Vaterland, noe som er gøyalt til vanlig, men ikke like enkelt under verdensomspennende pandemier. Ihsahn og Emperor har gjort det, og Ihsahn forteller. Intervjuet ble gjort i samarbeid med Scream Magazine under Tons Of Rock i 2017. Den gangen feiret Emperor 20-årsjubileumet for "Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk" ved å spille hele albumet live. Ihsahn skulle egentlig ha spilt på Infernofestivalen i påsken, mens Emperor opprinnelig toppet plakaten hos Karmøygeddon. Men for å begrense spredningen av koronaviruset er alle konsertarrangementer avlyst frem til minimum 15. juni 2020. Jun-His er låtskriver, vokalist og gitarist i Oranssi pazuzu. Da Jernverket møtte ham på Inferno i 2014, hadde de nettopp kommet hjem fra sin første turné. Jun-His fortalte om hvordan de arbeider med å utforske stemninger i musikken sin, dybden man oppnår ved å skrive tekster på eget språk, hvordan det føles å bli dumpet av et plateselskap og da de glemte keyboardisten på vei til en spillejobb. Siden den gang har Oranssi pazuzu gitt ut albumene "Värähtelijä" (2016) og "Mestarin kynsi" (2020). De skulle egentlig ha spilt på Infernofestivalen i påsken, men for å begrense spredningen av koronaviruset er Inferno og alle andre konsertarrangementer avlyst minst to måneder frem i tid. Noen band skulle jeg gjerne ha tatt en ny prat med. I 2012 var jeg Inferno-reporter for Pyro på NRK P3, og jeg hadde ett oppdrag: Å spørre artistene om deres beste rockeminne, og be dem si: "Mitt beste rockeminne er..." Jeg skulle egentlig ikke snakke med Autopsy i mer enn fem minutter, men plutselig satt jeg der og stotret frem spørsmål likevel. Vi diskuterte horrorfilm, lengden på et perfekt death metal-album, kontroversielle plateomslag, folketomme konserter og Ace Frehleys soloalbum. Et norsk Autopsy-intervju er såpass sjeldent at jeg ikke kan fortsette å skjule det for offentligheten bare fordi jeg er flau! Siden 2012 har Autopsy gitt ut to album og to EP-er. Det har ikke blitt noen nye norgesbesøk, men siden bandet er booket til UK Deathfest i august er det lov å håpe! Steve "Zetro" Souza har vært vokalist i Exodus i hele tre omganger. Da Jernverket møtte Zetro under Inferno 2016 fortalte han hvorfor alle gode ting er tre, om Exodus-albumet han forakter, Kirk Hammets gitarsoloer, mangelen på ballader, turneen med Black Sabbath og Gary Holts sjonglering mellom Slayer og Exodus. Den 8. februar 2020 spiller Exodus på Rockefeller i Oslo sammen med Testament og Death Angel.
