Auburn's road trip to Auburn (11:45, SEC Network) might be the most fascinating Week 9 SEC matchup. The Southeastern 16 crew tells you why. Arkansas has, debatably, the SEC's best offense. Quarterback Taylen Green is a dual-threat nightmare and running back Mike Washington has been terrific. And, offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino is now the head coach. They'll face an Auburn defense led by Keldric Faulk that's been both elite and consistent. Auburn allows 17.4 points and 317 yards per game and has not allowed more than 24 points in a game. However, Arkansas's defense is awful. The Razorbacks allow 32.7 points and 444 yards a game and struggles to tackle and defend the run. The Tigers, with quarterback Jackson Arnold and Jeremiah Cobb, have the ability to run the ball quite well. However, an injury to starting center Connor Lew could be costly. Auburn also has talented receivers in Cam Coleman and Eric Singleton, but the Tigers can't get them the ball. Arkansas has remained motivated and played teams to the wire in Petrino's two games, while Auburn seems to struggle with confidence as rumors swirl about coach Hugh Freeze's future. Tennessee looks for revenge after Arkansas upset the Vols a year ago. This time, the game's in Knoxville at 3:15 Central, a game shown on the SEC Network. Topics in our preview include: Arkansas fired coach Sam Pittman after an embarrassing loss to Notre Dame and will re-boot with offensive coordinator (and former head coach) Bobby Petrino. An offense with Taylen Green and company averages 515 yards and 37.5 points per game, and runs and throws the ball exceptionally well. However, the Razorbacks' defense has been abysmal, allowing 41, 32 and 56 points the last three weeks while allowing 475, 489 and 641 yards in those three. Petrino cleaned house with his defensive staff during the bye week. Tennessee's offense is explosive. The Vols average 51 points, 77 plays and 535 yards per contest. Tennessee's muti-faceted rushing attack and up-tempo offense pose problems for an Arkansas team that isn't good in its front seven. On Sunday, Andy Staples, Ross Dellenger and Steven Godfrey talked about how they expected Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman to be fired in the near future. By the time the episode was released, Arkansas had indeed fired Pittman, who was in his 6th season. Former Arkansas head coach, and current offensive coordinator, Bobby Petrino, has been named interim head coach and he made it clear that he is interested in removing that interim title. Andy, Ross and Godfrey discuss why this may be a more desirable job than it appears and who might be a fit for the new era of Arkansas football. They also debate if Petrino has a chance at becoming the full-time head coach and how Arkansas can have a program turnaround similar to the one Ole Miss is having right now. Later, we get Ross' Congressional Minute as he explains the new SAFE Act that is being introduced into the Senate. This is a similar act to the already introduced SCORE Act, but there are some key differences. Ross explains the differences between the acts and what they mean for the future of college athletics. The guys discuss which is a better act and where the discussions in Congress will go from here. Lastly, the Week 5 slate in college football was jam-packed with marquee matchups.
