So we celebrate the birth of God's son and the temporary death of God's son. Both Christmas and Easter. In a world that, at best, puts up with this notion about Jesus being God and Savior of the world — And, at worst, the world openly mocks Jesus and denies His existence — except to take His holy name in vain. Let me ask you — what does it all mean for you today? What does it mean for the New Year? Eternity? Well, we're going to address those questions by studying Luke's Gospel. I'd like to read it to you, explain it, and then we'll apply it to our lives.

“Isn't he the man who raised havoc in Jerusalem among those who call on [Jesus'] name?” — Acts 9:21 Maybe you have heard of the apostle Paul, but did you know he was also named Saul and had a nasty past? He felt that he was doing God's work by putting Christians in prison, and he even watched approvingly as Stephen was stoned to death (Acts 7:58). Saul began using his Greek name, Paul, when he became a witness for Jesus to Greek-speaking Gentiles (Acts 13:9). Despite all of Saul's nasty intentions, Jesus stopped him in his tracks and turned his life around. That was shocking to many of the people who had known Saul before. The Lord changed his life and gave him a new purpose. God would use him powerfully to invite Gentiles (non-Jewish people) into his kingdom. We can feel spiteful sometimes about people who cause trouble in our lives, but the power of Jesus can transform them from being angry, hateful, and vengeful to sharing God's love, kindness, and peace. Imagine how it felt for people who knew the persecutor and then saw him preaching about Jesus as the Savior (Messiah). Saul was proclaiming the grace and power of the one he had fought hardest against. This is the power of the good news! God, search me and find any areas in my life that you need to turn around. Help me to see how you want to repurpose my life for your glory. Amen.

There is the sealing by the Spirit, the sealing of Messiah, the sealing in, as with Noah, the setting apart unto Yahuwah. It confirms our identity with our Father and our Savior-Messiah. So simple, yet few understand that we must be sealed by Yahuwahs' Spirit to enter the Kingdom.

PRAYER FOCUS: DO WE WORSHIP THE GOD OF CREATION OR THE CREATION OF GOD? Listen to the Prayer Audio: Heavenly Father, ​Under Your Protective Love we open our hearts to You so that we may draw closer to You! You are the source of all we are and all we do to fulfill Your Perfect Will now!  Keep us under the shadow of Your Wings as the enemy is always trying to defeat us and draw us away from You by bringing chaos and rebellion to the earth.  Our hearts are set on You and Your Plan for us.  We know You will never leave us or forsake us.  Your are faithful to the Covenant that our forefathers and mothers made with You. We intercede that more of the people of America will awaken and arise to be committed to the Covenant established with You in this 400th year of remembrance!  Lord, like Israel of old this land made a covenant with You because of our heritage of believing in Jesus the Christ who set us free from sin and iniquity!  Lord, during this time we seek more committed men and women to rise up and lead us in this commitment to live in Justice and truth!             Lord, it is You we worship and are grateful for all that You have created and Lord we want to fulfill what You began that man is here to increase and multiply.  Multiply Your Life here on earth and to take care of the earth as You Sill it to be.  Lord, we repent of any false idols or objects of creation that we hold in better regard than You have wanted.  That we see all things as You see them and that we honor and respect these gifts that You have bestowed on us but we worship You the one who has made it all.  To You we give all honor and glory and praise in thanksgiving for there is none like You!  Lord, to think that You the Creator of Universe still want an intimate time with each of us, to call You, ABBA Daddy as Your Son has spoken into our hearts! Yes, we have even been taught wrong to see You as a distant God one who is ready to judge and condemn.  But now we see You are one filled with loving kindness for all those who love You in return.  Yes, You will destroy evil in all its forms but it is us that You take pride in and watch over us and with us every second of everyday how awesome You are Father!             Lord, we seek clear discernment during these day when there is upheaval and rebellion by those who do not know You., and those who have walked away from all that they have been given in Faith.  Lord, we intercede for all the leaders of America who need to repent and repair that which they have either stolen or destroyed.  For too long Your people have been fearful and silent, but that is changing now as more and more our bravely speaking out and reveling the truth about all those who have lied and deceived us.  Lord bless and protect all those on he front lies who reveal the truth and are even ready to step into situations to save and rescue those who have fallen prey and are unable to see their way clearly.  Now Lord bless all those who are working to stop child trafficking and the abuse that our children have been subject to.  Give Wisdom to our President and all those aligned with him to move in Justice to bring America to its role of a shining Light on the Hill to bring freedom and harmony to mankind in every nation that calls our God their God!             Lord, continue to make us aware that words that sound nice like serving the poor and social justice are just clanging symbols unless Jesus the Christ is the center of the work.  It wounds nice but do You know them?  You have said we can walk among others even to heal and bring release to others but You will say to them on that day: I never knew You!  We are here to worship You in spirit and truth. We are to have no false idols before You.  You are the God who created it all, but man has sinned and twisted even Your Words to have things man’s way instead of being humble and contrite recognizing we re to be meek as our Savior/Messiah was me...

Archives Listen to the Prayer Audio: Heavenly Father, Here we are Your Prayer Warriors standing at attention before You to serve Your Commands as loyal and humble soldiers of Christ.  Father this day we have special requests to bring before Your throne.  We place in Your Hands all of those who have served this country by their bravery and sacrifice as Veterans of Service now and those who are still serving this country to keep us safe and protect us from the enemy whether foreign or domestic.  Lord as You blessed the Israelites of old who defended their people in battle bless those whom we hold dear and appreciate that have served us!  Father without Your Blessing and Protection we are not free to worship You as nation of Your Kingdom so today we honor and praise You for giving us those who have made the sacrifice serve and protect. Father today we are here as a day of repentance to continue to bring back to America our true heritage and to be called a nation of those who follow Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior/Messiah! Lord in these moments of prayer we bring before You that have foolishly believed Satan is god like you, when he is not.  You are the only Creator and You have made us in Your Image as male and female to be one in the spirit and truth.  Lord we repent of the teachings that are affecting our children to make them think that there is some other sexual choice that are an abomination in Your Sight!  Lord there is only Your Plan that we are male and female, men and women, boys and girls forgive us for all those who teach and whom we have allowed to teach and influence our children a different plan.  Lord we seek new teachers and mentors who will live by You Plan as You have shown us through Your Word and the Life of Your Son, Jesus the Christ! Father forgive us for not standing up and protecting our children when the bible was taken out of school, when prayer was taken out and schools became a killing field ins place of being a place where they would be safe to learn and grow to be good citizens of America and to live by our Constitution and sound biblical principles.  Lord with our prayers influence us to rise up and take back our education of our children that there will be honest education  and choice as to how it is done whether through schools that are biblically based or home school our children.  Lord we as parents are responsible for these gifts of Yours, so we will bring them up in fear of the Lord and teach them Wisdom and not just knowledge. Thank You Lord for making us aware and giving us strength to speak up and stand against the abomination of transgenderism, drag queen day and other false religious practices that are forced on our children by those intent on evil.  We say enough Lord!  We will take action and do what needs to be done to turn this around from indoctrination to education.  That our children deserve the best and we will start in  our homes and stop believing the government is the only choice we have.  Deliver us Lord from this tyranny and captivity that tells us we cannot do it right when in fact we are well able!  Lord we see You are bringing an awakening of knowing who You are and to follow You as we see in Kanye West and others who are turning to You and leading others too.  O Lord Your Plan is not always as we think it should be  but as Your Holy Spirit leads us.  Thank You, Father that we are here in this time to fight and spread Your Kingdom here and around the world! Father, we are grateful for You anointing You have placed on President Trump and the others who are doing their work to make America a shining Light in a sea of darkness around this world.  Yet You are also doing so many wondrous things around the world by having people experience the healing Love of Your Son and even being visited by Him!  Lord our Hope is well founded because of how You are making us aware and really caring about one another and coming togeth...

Father there is a list of things we want to repent for in our land that need to be faced and returned to Your Way if we are to live as Your Family: the killing of the unborn: abortion allowed in the land through court approval and written into laws of states like New York, Washington, Illinois and others.  Forgive us Lord and raise up those will change these laws now in our day! the abuse and perversion of sex through sex trafficking of men women and especially children.  Forgive us Lord and protect those who are doing all they can to rescue and save these wounded ones. the destruction of the true meaning of marriage as founded in Scriptures: between one man and one woman.  Forgive us Lord for allowing the abomination of homosexual marriage and all the perversions of our day such as transgender to desecrate our children to teach contrary to what You created us to be male and female.  Lord raise up strong defenders of the Truth and those who will teach our children the Truth! no longer calling us a “Christian nation” that we have been silent too long because of a correctness that is based on fear and a lack of the expression of truth.  Lord forgive us for we are a land because of our following of Jesus Christ and therefore rightfully called Christians or better still the disciples of Jesus Christ! the perversion of the way our government is to be used to rule us by making us subjects to those who have stolen and abused power to make laws and ruling that bind us and make us a land without You!  The Sacred Scriptures no longer allowed to be taught in school and the hate of those who profess belief in Jesus.  Lord, forgive us for being afraid to speak up and letting our beliefs be a part of our political way of living. There is a shifting – a turbulence, a kind of ‘changing of the guard' occurring right now. Do you sense it? Do you feel it? This podcast was recorded live from the Prayer and Training Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Listen, as Derek presents the Day of Atonement in a fascinating new light. We have entered into the period of endurance as 1 Kings 8:2 describes the 7th month. We have entered into the time of “loyalty under fire” where our commitment to the One who redeemed us from the grave will be put under extreme pressure in order to determine whether our Yes is truly Yes and our No is truly No. If we do not uphold His decision to have mercy on us as sinners by living a forgiven lifestyle, we will in-turn mock His goodness, spit on the cross, fail to forgive others and earn back upon our own heads the debt that was once forgiven us.When our life is over, what kind of Kingdom impact will we have made in the lives of other human beings? That all depends on how we respond today to the blood of our Savior Messiah. The Day of Atonement lies as the portal between time and eternity. There is no other way to reach the other side of peace and rest without first going through what Messiah called as ‘the days He must shorten if any flesh will remain alive.'

We really need Jesus to come back soon to straighten out the mess we have created. Our society is being threatened with nuclear war and many in the intelligence communities believes America just might be nuked sooner rather than later. The fact that we see a state of lawlessness is a strong indicator that we are in the final countdown to the return of Christ. Why has The Lord waited so long to return? Its really very simple to understand. Reason 1: God wants everyone to be saved because He understands first hand how awful hell will be for a human. Reason 2: When He returns again The Lord knows prior to that return His wrath and anger will be poured out on all humanity and Israel will go through one of its darkest days; see Zechariah 13. With this being said the time for The Lord to return is drawing near and one day God will say to Jesus GO! The good news is that Jesus our Savior is coming again to free the world from tyranny. This is a study of the birth of Jesus, the Christmas story, through the voices of a group that is particularly special to the story – the angels. In being so reminded, our minds and hearts are drawn back to the only real reason to celebrate Christmas – the birth of Jesus.
