Broken Skull Challenge competitor Todd Carroll had a heck of a run on the SkullBuster - a run that ultimately ended in heartbreaking defeat. Todd shares the play-by-play on his strategy as he moved through the course (including his deliberate tumble down Heartbreak Hill, and a killer wrestling match in The Pit), and then details the final few agonizing feet of Ropeburn that basically did him in. He talks preparation, gear, and first-day nerves meeting Steve Austin!
Ian Murphy dethroned Tommy Hackenbruck to become the reigning champ of the Broken Skull Challenge. The Broken Skull Challenge is a TV show that showcases a series of head-to-head battles until just one man remains. That person gets to take on the Skullbuster, a half-mile stretch of 10 obstructions for time. Completing that earns the winner $10,000 is he beats the Champ. Ian is also a competitive CrossFitter and professional Electrician with a world class wrestling background.
Broken Skull Challenge Men's Champ Tommy "Hacksaw" Hackenbruck talks to Steve about what it took to beat the Skullbuster, and his experiences on Broken Skull Challenge. Tommy also has plenty of tips to share about Crossfit training, and competing in the new Grid League. Plus, here about his days playing college ball for coach Urban Meyer.
