There are not a lot of Mario mains in the world of Melee, so you can imagine JD's surprise when he faced an incredible one at Smash Con 2019. SmallHandsBrian is one of the few players carrying the Mario torch, and his dedication to his character is one we should all admire. In this episode, JD and SHB go over the many facets of playing a mid tier, along with all the challenges and virtues that might not be so obvious. 

JD's experience at Smash Con 2019 was a doozy, and as he looks forward to Shine he tries to figure out what's missing from his gameplay, his out of game strategies, and his mindset. We only have one shot at each major, and "making the most of it" can be a real challenge.   Will has some developments as well, but I don't want to spoil that part ;)

This week KANDY went to SMASH! and it was Kevin's first convention. He was so impressed by all the cosplay. He let's us know if K-pop concepts can feel like cosplay, and tells us about a make-up trend where female idols put freckles on their face. What would he do if the new ZE:A concept was ‘freckles’? Kevin and Andy tell us their favourite animes and Kevin talks about a Korean anime, he also does Transformers impersonations. A-mazing!

The boys have their dear friend and WORLDWIDE YOUTUBE SENSATION Ludwig on to talk about how he was never cool as a teen.
