Today's Promise: 1 Corinthians 3:16 What if you truly believed that God's presence lives in you? In this episode, we explore the powerful promise of 1 Corinthians 3:16, that you are the temple of God and His Spirit dwells within you. The same holy presence that once filled the temple in Jerusalem now lives in the hearts of believers. That means wherever you go, God goes with you. You'll discover what it means to live as a daily reflection of God's presence, in your worship, your choices, your relationships, and your purpose. This episode will encourage you to see your life differently: not as ordinary, but as a sacred space where God is at work. Be reminded that you carry His presence into every moment of your day. You are His temple, and your life can bring glory to Him.
Metaphors: The Temple of God - Josh Wilson by Storyline Church
Take a moment to consider what it means to have the Spirit of God dwell with us, in us! It is an immense concept and truth. Our belief in Jesus as God's Son, God's deposit of His Spirit in us to protect and seal us as His own, creates a bond, a preservation of holiness within us and with Him. May we honor our relationship with God's grace and love toward us.Daylight Meditations is a daily podcast from CFO North America. Introduction Puzzles are not my thing. I know others love them, but I find them difficult and unrewarding. Yet, there are some puzzles that need putting together; some mysteries that need unravelling. Jesus was rejected by the leaders at the time, those who knew Scripture and prophecy the best. Why? Because God was building something wonderful through him: a living and working Temple, made without human hands, to showcase his wonder and excellencies. Peter reminds us of the abiding and true reality of the Temple. Let us then consider today: 1. What the Temple represents 2. What the Temple really is a. We are the stones b. We are the priests c. We are the sacrifice

We often see our bodies as temporary shells or liabilities we must tolerate until we reach heaven, but what if your physical frame was actually sacred space, chosen by God to be the meeting point where heaven and earth meet? In this message Pastor Dennis explores the profound spiritual reality that the believer's body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and therefore consecrated ground. Your physical body, as a redeemed child of God, is now chosen by God as His dwelling place on earth, carrying His presence, purpose, and protection. Because the enemy knows this is true, he makes your physical body a primary target which he attempts to defile with sickness and weakness. Pastor Dennis teaches that as believers we must refuse the enemy's strategy and instead enforce our covenant authority in Christ, speaking truth over our bodies, and actively resisting the enemy's physical attacks as unlawful invaders on what Christ has claimed as His redeemed territory. This message will encourage and challenge you to receive God's word that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, to be cleansed and freed from whatever is attacking and trying to defile your body, and to maintain your physical health and strength so that the resurrection life of Christ may be openly manifested through you!

The Church is the Temple of God. Therefore, as living stones, build on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone.
The church is not a business or a building — it's the dwelling place of God's presence. This week, pastor Josh Lewis visits us from our sister church, Anthem Denver, and teaches from Ephesians 2:19–22, calling us to rethink what “church” really is. God isn't inviting us into a club or a consumer experience but into His family and temple — a people built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Himself as the cornerstone. Josh shows how God's presence dwells uniquely when believers gather and how that truth should lead us to prioritize, participate, and repent. Church isn't about passive attendance; it's about becoming God's living house together. You Are the Temple of God: Becoming Dwelling Places of His Presence In the first reading scripture recalls the rebuilding of the temple after Israel's exile, . . . . . . highlighting that true dedication is not about stones and gold, but about the people offering themselves to God. Jesus deepens this teaching, declaring himself the true temple and reminding us that our hearts are where God longs to dwell. St. Paul Confirms: We are the Temples of God The Gospel parable of the Sower emphasizes that the Word of God only bears fruit when it falls on rich soil . . . hearts open and receptive. Mary is the perfect example of this, as she received God's Word and bore Jesus Himself. The memorial of Padre Pio illustrates the same truth: his heart was rich soil where God's Word took root, leading him to a life of prayer, spiritual battle, suffering, and union with Christ. Bearing the stigmata, Padre Pio embodied the suffering Christ and showed what it means to live as God's temple. The call today is clear: each of us is invited to become a true dwelling place of God, good soil where His Word can bear lasting fruit. Hear more and listen to this Meditation Media. In Acts 4–5, Luke shows us that the Church is the one holy temple of God, where His Spirit dwells among His people. This countercultural community is marked by unity, generosity, and integrity—signs of God's great grace at work. Barnabas models Spirit-filled generosity, while Ananias and Sapphira reveal the danger of hypocrisy in God's house. Ultimately, our hope is not in our efforts but in Christ, the truly whole man, who makes His church alive and holy.Time:MorningMinister:Rev. Taylor KernTexts:Acts 4:32—5:11Series:The Church on Fire

Derek Walker describes the Millennial Temple drawing from many scriptures in Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Jeremiah & Zechariah. Discover how the concept of God's dwelling with man is central to biblical revelation, from the original earthly Temple in Eden to its ultimate fulfilment in the Millennial reign of Christ - the times of restoration of all things, when the Land of Israel will be restored to be like the original Eden. The Millennial Temple, at the peak of the Mountain of the Lord, in Israel, will be at the heart of the restoration of God's Kingdom on earth at Christ's Return. Christ will reign over the whole earth from its Holy of Holies, and a River of Life will flow from it into Jerusalem, and then divide into 2 rivers to the west and to the east. This episode provides God's vision for the climax of human history in the Messianic Kingdom and the greatest of the earthly Temples, the closest image of the heavenly Temple, which therefore also provides deep insights into the nature and operation of redeemed Man in Christ - God's ultimate, eternal Temple.
God gave the law to Moses, then instituted sacrifices. They were offered first in the portable Tabernacle where God's Spirit dwelt and now David wants to build God a permanent home where sacrifices can be offered perpetually. This place is eventually where our forever sacrifice gave His life for all of us. Then, there was no longer a need for animal sacrifices or a Temple because His Spirit lives in every believer. Through our faith in the Perfect Lamb, we present ourselves now as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God.
Derek Walker explores the significance of Temples, focusing on the first 3 Temples on the earthly Mount Zion, pointing out the connections between the heavenly and earthly Temples. After God moved into the Tabernacle, He promised He would lead them to a holy Mountain of His choosing where His Sanctuary would be established. God had already set apart Mount Moriah, later called Mount Zion, when Abraham offered up Isaac on Mount Moriah (Genesis 22) and God promised that He would offer up His Son in that place (v8,14). From that time Mt. Moriah was God's ordained place of Sacrifice. Later David establish his capital in Jerusalem, and God revealed to him the location and plans for the Temple, especially the Holy of Holies, and the Altar (on Ornan's threshing floor) on Mount Moriah, to the north and above the City of David (1Chronicles 21-22). Later Solomon build the Temple there (2Chronicles 23:1) and it was filled with God's glory at its Dedication. It was destroyed by the Babylonians 432 years later because of Israel's idolatry, and rebuilt 70 years later in the same place as the 2nd Temple, which was later beautified by Herod the Great. This was the Temple in the time of Jesus, but was destroyed by the Romans in AD 70, because of Israel's rejection of Christ. There will also be a 3rd Temple of God on Mount Zion in the future (the Tribulation Temple), which God will use as a final outreach to Israel as well as the world, especially through the 2 witnesses. After 3.5 years the antichrist will desecrate it with the Abomination of Desolation (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, 2Thessalonians 2, Revelation 11). There will also be a 4th Temple on Mount Zion in the Millennium (Isaiah 2:1-4, Ezekiel 40-48).

In Week 3 of Songs For the Road, guest speaker Jason Workman leads us through Psalm 122—a song of gladness and longing for the gathered people of God. As pilgrims ascending to Jerusalem, God's people were reminded that worship isn't just about a place; it's about being built together into a spiritual home. From the earthly Jerusalem to the new Jerusalem, and from the temple built with stones to the temple of God's Spirit within us, we are invited to seek peace, unity, and the good of God's household.
