In meiner Serie, in der ich Euch meine absoluten Thaifood Lieblingsrezepte vorstelle, habe ich heute etwas ganz Besonderes für Euch. Eine liebe Freundin von Thai Airways International hat mich darauf gebracht. Als ich sie frage, was ich mal für das Team kochen sollte sagte sie, "koch bitte bitte Pad Krapau". Das habe ich bisher nicht gekannt, sie machte mich neugierig und ich bemühte erst einmal Google. Ich fand heraus, es handelt sich um ein super schmackhafte obgleich einfaches Gericht und in Thailand ein Alltagsessen. In Thai Restaurants in Deutschland steht das Gericht aber leider eher seltener auf der Karte. Daher solltet ihr es explizit verlangen oder am besten gleich selbst nachkochen. Ich habe ein bisschen herumprobiert und das ist jetzt mein ultimatives Rezept für Pad Krapau mit Ei. Zutaten: (für 4 Personen) 500 g Hühnerbrust, in Würfel geschnitten 1 rote Spitzpaprika in breitere Streifen geschnitten 6 Knoblauchzehen in ganz feine Würfel geschnitten 2 rote Chilis, ohne Kerne in feine Würfel gehackt 2 TL Austernsauce 2 TL Sojasauce 1 TL weisser Zucker 1 Bund Thailbasiikum gezupft und gewaschen, etwa eine Hand voll 4 Eier 2 Romanasalate Speiseöl Die Hühnerbrust in Würfel schneiden und in kochendem Wasser ca. 3 Minuten kochen. Abgiessen und abtropfen lassen. Beiseitestellen. Alle weiteren Zutaten vorbereiten. In einem Wok 5 EL Speiseöl erhitzen. Chili und Knoblauch kurz anschwitzen. Soll keine Farbe nehmen. Hühnerbrust dazugeben und anbraten. Weiteres Speiseöl dazugeben. Dann gleich Paprika dazugeben. Die Hühnerbrust darf etwas Farbe nehmen. Zucker darübergeben. Austern- und Sojasauce dazugeben und gut verrühren. Etwas laufen lassen. Thai-Basilikum dazugeben und verrühren. Nochmals reichlich Öl hinzufügen. Eier jeweils einzeln in einer kleinen Schüssel aufschlagen und vorsichtig in den Wok auf das Pad Krapau gleiten lassen. Wenn die Eier gestockt sind sofort servieren auf einem Salatbett. In Regulatory News… Bombardier wins in its ongoing trade dispute with Boeing, as the US International Trade Commission voted unanimously that Boeing was not harmed by Bombardier and its all-new C Series jet. Norwegian Air Argentina received its Air Operator Certificate from Argentinian authorities. The government granted the carrier authority to operate 72 domestic and 80 international routes. Norwegian is planning to start serving Buenos Aires from London Gatwick Airport in February. Reporting from operators today… AirAsia Group (Malaysia) reports 4Q 2017 total passengers numbers up 17% year-on-year to 10.4 million, with ASKs up 14%, RPKs up 16%, and Load factor up 1 point to 88%. Fossco sells aircraft parts and components to airlines, repair shops, and completion centers In Lighter news A NASA satellite called IMAGE has been lost in space for 12 years. However, earlier this month a young astronomer from Canada stumbled onto signals from a satellite that was not accounted for; NASA confirmed on Tuesday this week that the re-discovered satellite is the lost in space satellite "IMAGE". Alrosa Airlines (Russia) took delivery of one B737-700, serial 37088, leased from BOC Aviation · Aeromexico Connect took delivery of one E190, serial 19000251, leased from GECAS (US). · General Electric A380 engine venture with Pratt & Whitney may be poised to muscle back in on the double-decker jet following Airbus deal to sell 36 A380s to Emirates (UAE). · Aeronautical Engineers (US) delivered the 100th B737-400SF freighter conversion to ASL Aviation (Ireland). ASL currently has an additional four AEI B737-400SF freighters either currently undergoing conversion or scheduled for modification in 2018. · Air Lease Corporation (US) Executive Chairman warned of possible delays to deliveries of B737 MAX if LEAP-1B engines issues worsen. · Thai Airways International urged by the government to procure smaller aircraft to decrease operation and maintenance costs, in a bid to lower its debt and keep up with emerging LCCs. · Etihad (UAE) pulled its entire A330F fleet from service and placed the aircraft in storage, reportedly as part of its company-wide restructuring plan. · AerCap reports 4Q 2017 transactions, as follows: signed lease agreements for 46 aircraft; purchased 25 aircraft; executed sale transactions for 29 aircraft; signed financing transactions for US$1.7 billion; and exercised options with Airbus to purchase 50 A320neo Family aircraft, with deliveries starting from 2022. · ATR booked firm orders for 113 aircraft in 2017, along with 40 options. ATR delivered 80 aircraft, reached a book-to-bill ratio of 1.45, and secured a solid backlog representing three years of production. ATR also stabilized its annual turnover at US$ 1.8 billon. · Embraer announced the E190-E2 proved in flight tests to be 1.3% better than originally expected, which represents a 17.3% improvement when compared to the current generation E190, and nearly 10% better than its direct competitor. · Triumph Group (US) signed an agreement with Boeing to provide major structural assemblies for the B767 program, including the production of horizontal stabilizers, doors, aft fuselage and center wing sections. · Hawaiian Airlines (US) and Japan Airlines jointly applied for blanket statements of authorization from the US regulators to engage in codeshare operations for an indefinite period, effective 25 March 2018. · NIKI (Austria) founder Niki Lauda won the bidding for the airline he founded, convincing the insolvent carrier’s administrators in marathon talks and undoing an agreed deal with IAG (UK). · TrueAero (US) appointed Ian Nicholson as VP – Technical Operations, effective January 2nd, 2018. · Royal Air Maroc (Morocco) is making final adjustments to its new strategy, which includes doubling of the fleet and more long-haul services out of Casablanca. Carrier has four B787s arriving between December 2018 and March 2019, with four B737 MAX arriving between 2018 and June 2019. · Avolon (Ireland) is sheltered from problems facing parent HNA Group (China), but its credit profile would benefit from a guarantee that it would not be forced to bail out the group, ratings analysts said.
