Ce légume gluant, riche en antioxydants, possède des vertus hydratantes et anti-âge qui séduisent désormais les marques de cosmétiques locales. Reportage dans une entreprise dakaroise qui mise sur ce nouvel or vert. (Rediffusion) Avec notre correspondante à Dakar, Dans le laboratoire de la marque Trésors d'Afrique, à Dakar, on s'affaire autour des préparations. En blouse blanche, les employées ont des allures de scientifiques. « Ici, c'est pour la recherche et développement. Il nous arrive ici, au laboratoire, de changer un produit, ou bien de créer un nouveau produit », explique Ndeye Thiaba Diouf, la directrice des opérations, qui nous fait la visite guidée. Ici, avec la gamme « Chouette mama », priorité aux produits locaux : aloe vera, bissap, karité, mais aussi le gombo, ce petit légume vert et gluant qu'on connaît surtout en cuisine. Ndeye Ndiapaly Diouf, responsable du laboratoire émulsion, en extrait le jus. « Ici, on fait des crèmes, des laits et des sérums. Le lait de gombo, on le fabrique à base de gombo naturel frais qu'on achète au marché, et toujours avec de l'eau déminéralisée. On met de l'eau et on laisse macérer jusqu'au lendemain », détaille-t-elle. 27 000 produits Trésors d'Afrique vendus Ce mucilage, un jus épais issu du gombo, est intégré à plusieurs produits : shampoings, crèmes pour le visage ou pour le corps... Très hydratant, le légume se révèle aussi un puissant anti-âge. « De la même manière que le baobab traite l'acné et la peau grasse, le gombo, son travail, c'est l'anti-âge. À partir de 25 ans, on commence à ne plus avoir le collagène dont on en a besoin pour avoir une peau lisse et tout ce qui va avec. Donc le gombo est là pour compléter cela », promeut-elle. Ce secret est encore méconnu au Sénégal, où le gombo reste surtout associé à la soupe kandia. Seules quelques femmes l'utilisent déjà pour nourrir leurs cheveux. Chaque année, 27 000 produits Trésors d'Afrique sont vendus dans plusieurs points de vente au Sénégal, mais également en ligne vers l'étranger. « D'après les études qu'on a fait, ce sont les étrangers, les expatriés et même les Sénégalais qui viennent de l'extérieur qui achètent plus nos produits. La marque, malheureusement, est connue plus à l'étranger qu'au Sénégal », note Ndeye Ndiapaly Diouf. À lire aussiPensez à consommer du Gombo ! À Thiès, Mamour Gueye, producteur de gombos qui exporte une partie de sa production vers la France, y voit un débouché local bienvenu. « C'est plus avantageux de vendre sur le marché local que de faire de l'export », assure l'agriculteur. « Sur le marché local, il n'y a pas de contrainte. Par contre, quand tu envoies ton gombo, deux jours après, on te fait des réclamations sur le noircissement du produit. Tout ne peut pas aller à l'exportation. Donc s'il y a de la transformation, c'est vraiment une bonne chose », poursuit Mamour Gueye. Le marché global des cosmétiques pour l'Afrique est en plein boom. Khi cái đầu stress, sức đề kháng nó lên tiếng liền. Người tui hay cứng đơ, thiếu tập trung. Và chỉ cần một cú lộn nhẹ thôi là dính chưởng.Hôm đó, sau xe ôm công nghệ đi về, tui mới giật mình: Mình đang ép bản thân sống cuộc đời "Extreme" (Cực đoan) quá mức. Dân khởi nghiệp tụi mình lạ lắm.Càng stress, càng lao đầu vào làm. Càng áp lực, càng dấn thân điên cuồng.Mình cứ nghĩ mình là siêu nhân. Cho đến khi bác sĩ đưa tấm phim X-quang và phán: Chấn thương khớp rồi em.Ờ thì, đau vai… vì quá nhiều gánh nặng (theo đúng nghĩa bóng và nghĩa đen)Trên đôi vai này, mình đang gánh cái "Vai" làm sếp, cái "Vai" trụ cột gia đình, cái "Vai" người đồng đội hết mình… Mình mải mê đắp nặn cho những cái VAI TRÒ xã hội đó hoàn hảo, mà quên mất cái ĐÔI VAI bằng xương bằng thịt này nó cũng biết mệt, biết đau."Khi khỏe, ta có 1001 vấn đề. Nhưng khi bệnh, ta chỉ còn duy nhất 1 vấn đề thôi."vậy là tui đã quyết định, trong suốt hai tuần sau đó, anh em đã không thấy Tùng nhảy nhót ở City Gym nữa. Tui ra khu Sala hoặc Quận 7 chạy bộ dưỡng sinh. Games are fun. Aren't they? When we play games — board games, video games, any kind of game — something magical happens. Games allow us to explore, to create little worlds where we can be different versions of ourselves. But when we turn life into a game — where we have to get the best grade, or the most money, or the most “likes” — then games stop being fun. Why is that? This week Sean speaks with philosopher C. Thi Nguyen about what a game really is, the difference between playing for enjoyment and playing to win, and why games lose their magic when the stakes become real. Thi argues that the things we value in life are increasingly captured by grades and likes and downloads and step counts and a thousand other metrics that quietly rewrite what we want and what we think makes us happy.
