Today Kathy and Sara talk over the story in John 4 where Jesus encounters the Samaritan woman at the well. This incredible story gives us a unique view of Jesus and His ministry here on Earth. He was intentional, He was slow with his words, and He gave her a place to belong forever. Shame and guilt are two of the ways the enemy keeps all of us out of God’s word and out of the mission God has given us. In this story, we see Jesus shatter shame and guilt with His grace and love. We see light take over the darkness. Just as Jesus met the woman at the well, right where she was at, He does the exact same thing for you! He chooses a longer route just to connect with you. He goes against social norms to show you how loved you are and He gives you something we all need, a quenching our thirsty soul. We all run to earthy things to satisfy our hearts and distract ourselves from the pain in this world but Jesus meets us with the living water and says "thirst no more, I am with you!" Today, we challenge you to get in His presence. It changes everything. If you are living in shame from your past mistakes, remember His blood covers it all and He removes our transgressions as far as the East is from the West!

This episode features Kathy Ganser of Devil's Creek Brewery. "Wouldn't it be cool to start a brewery?" The seed was planted in 2015, Kathy and Anthony decided to open a brewery. Kathy went for it and dove right in. Doing site planning and drawing from her background in graphic design, she made the branding come alive. The name pays homage to a Jersey Devil sighting in Collingswood. At the creek right behind where the brewery sits. Like many breweries Anthony and Kathy began as home brewers. Early on Anthony was winning awards for his home craft beer. They put their heart and soul into building out the local neighborhood place. Today Kathy is creating recipes that are winning awards in national competitions. The beers are strong in flavor and character. This women owned brewery is doing Collingswood proud and has quickly become a hot spot for the community. 1 Powell Ln, Collingswood, NJ 08108 - (856) 425-2520 - www.devilscreekbrewery.com - Facebook Highlights from our discussion: Collingswood, NJ Jersey Devil Erik Dickersbach River Horse Brewing Company Great American Beer Festival Beastie Boys Buffalo Trace Distillery Cream Ridge Winery Revolution Coffee Roasters Cape May Brewing Company Village Idiot Brewing Company Atlantic City Beer Festival

Have you ever wondered about the science behind what we do as brilliant partners? We strive to live in harmony with our dogs, and do our best to create an environment that’s safe, calm and happy for them! Today Kathy welcomes Sue Mimm to Enlightened By Dogs to discuss the intriguing Polyvagal Theory. Introduced by Dr. Stephen Porges in 1994, the Polyvagal Theory surrounds the school of thought that we have different pathways through the brain which determines our response stress, anxiety and fearful situations. Since dogs and humans are both highly socially intelligent, it makes a lot of sense that our dogs would experience the same kinds of things we do! They get anxious, nervous and fearful too, and their responses aren’t as obvious to us sometimes. In this episode, Sue clues us in to some of the things we miss as dog lovers, and how the brain actually creates these responses in the first place! Tune in to find out if your dog is actually a pain, or if they’re just scared!   Digging for new ways to help dogs deal with trauma. The science of safety and the social engagement system The three pathways of response, and how they show up in our dogs. How to do the safe, calm and happy protocol, in order to strengthen neural and emotional responses.   “There’s a lot of research done into human behaviour as far as trauma and anxiety, etc. but obviously very little in the animal kingdom” “We miss the smaller signals that they’re sending us that they aren’t feeling safe.” “Just because we might perceive it as not being dangerous doesn’t necessarily mean that they don’t perceive it as being dangerous” “You are actually doing something by being safe, calm and happy”   Get in touch with Sue at https://heartconnectiondogs.com Want More of Kathy? CEO and founder of the Real Wealth Network, guest Kathy Fettke is no stranger to media exposure. She has been featured in a number of recognized magazines. Plus, Goldman Sachs recognized her and her company two years running as a mover and driver in the entrepreneurial world.  Kathy says she thinks she has been recognized because her company has done a lot to help homeowners in crisis by giving them solutions to their problems.  So, who is Kathy Fettke? Simply a woman who wanted to be an actress and who was forced to take a hard look at what was going in that industry. She didn’t like how people were being taken advantage of, so she founded her own acting and modeling agency. Soon she experienced success and living her dream life.  She was also a news writer and occasional anchor, but she made a choice to leave it all when she had kids. Kathy wanted to be a stay-at-home mom. Her husband had written a book about success and was being billed as the next Tony Robbins. Life was great… until something tragic happened. Her husband was diagnosed with a fast-moving cancer.  Kathy’s husband was given six months to live; she decided to be the breadwinner through her radio show. But she also wanted to continue to stay at home with her kids. The good news is that worked; the better news is that her husband’s doctor was wrong and he is alive and well. In fact, he is Kathy’s partner in business.  Today Kathy applies all her entrepreneurial wealth-building expertise to real estate. She gives people a way to maintain their nest egg while they invest in real estate. One strategy is to take a high-dollar rental property that’s paid off and may even be producing some cashflow each month, and then sell it to turn it into more properties elsewhere and create 4X the cashflow!  Kathy is not a traditional buy-n-holder. She might be classified as a short-term buy-n-hold person. You’ll have to listen to this episode of Cash Flow Diary to fully understand this definition. In fact, you’ll want to listen to this episode for lots of reasons. There are so many great bites of information and wealth-building tips that you will want to take copious notes. Learn more.
