What's the delay in celebrating Pat LaFontaine's career? What about the player he was traded for, fellow Hall-of-Famer Pierre Turgeon? Does Ziggy Palffy's stardom during the franchise's dark days warrant consideration, and did Josh Bailey do enough, long enough, to be a clear Islanders Hall-of-Famer?Chris has ideas on how Hall-of-Fame nights can be re-imagined and how to honor the remaining “core of the four” that don't have their own plaques. What is paramedical tattooing and scar camouflage and how is it different than other treatments for self-injury scars? Not everyone with lived experience of nonsuicidal self-injury (NSSI) wants or needs to address self-harm scars, but some may choose to reduce or get rid of them as part of their recovery journey. Elena from Illusions by Ink Studio (https://illusionsbyinkstudio.com/) walks us through her approach to paramedical tattooing for self-injury. Topic: Shedding Light on Solar Underperformance Moderator: Michael Eyman, Managing Director, Origis Services Guest: Rhone Resch, President and Chief Revenue Officer, Solarlytics In Episode 22 of Power Players by Origis®, host Michael Eyman discusses some of the causes of solar asset underperformance and how to address it with Rhone Resch, President and Chief Revenue Officer of Solarlytics. During their conversation, Resch and Eyman discussed some of the causes of solar asset underperformance and how to address it. Three key takeaways: Owners, especially those of older assets, are concerned about underperformance at the DC level, which can be caused by string imbalance, voltage collapse or lack of data. Underperformance is costing the solar industry billions of dollars in unrealized production, and reputational harm when investors do not realize promised project ROI. The tech solutions required to mitigate underperformance are rarely accounted for in a typical O&M contract but should be to maximize asset performance.

Have you ever wondered why diets don't work? We're sitting down with sought-after nutrition therapist Elyse Resch, co-author of the acclaimed bestseller Intuitive Eating, and the nutritionist who cured Mary Alice's relationship with food to discuss the science and psychology behind the Intuitive Eating method. We'll break down why diets don't work and how reconnecting with our inner wisdom is the key to a healthy relationship with food. In this episode of SHE MD, Mary Alice and Elyse Resch discuss deprivation and eating disorders, including orthorexia, an unhealthy obsession with eating “healthily,” going on to challenge the emotional components that drive us to see food in the binary of good or bad. Resch highlights the concept of food habituation, suggesting that regularly eating previously forbidden foods can reduce their power over you. The conversation turns to how children are influenced by their parents' food choices and the best way to keep kids healthy without projecting or shaming. With over four decades of experience, Resch advocates that you can be healthy at any size and stresses that trusting your body and giving yourself permission to eat will lead to intuitive balance. What if you could do more to understand your risk of breast cancer? Ever wanted to own a horse? Think all wild horses should just be left to roam free? If you had a horse of your own, how would your life change? We cover all these questions and more as I piece together 3 men's voices from The Rocky Mountain Horse Expo. This was one of my most creative podcasts because I had to do a lot of workarounds to improve the audio and create a seamless listening experience for my listeners that still conveys the essence of what is important in these conversations. Clearly, this is the tip of the iceberg, and it is my hope that this podcast will inspire you to go deeper in the adventure of animal ownership or whatever dream your heart really calls you, too. After all, we only get this one life from what I've heard! So let's make the most of it, and make the most of the beautiful animals we are blessed to call home with us. Thank you to all of our guests and their special stories, and to animal lovers everywhere,Here is an outline of who you will hear in this podcast and some links to learn more about each:Tim Resch, from Estes Park Outfitters, followed up with a short zoom call with me during spring break when I discovered that his audio was inaudible and used AI for the original to make it work. You get to hear his real voice in the first 20 minutes of the podcast, and the story everyone is talking about:"How he traded his wife for a horse!!"You won't want to miss this one in the first half of this episode. You can find out more about Tim and how to visit him on your horse adventures here:https://www.estesparkoutfitters.com/about-usAround the second half of the episode, we hear from Matt Manroe, Executive Director of Mustang Champions about his experience of working with and training mustang horses in multiple disciplines. When I first met Matt, I thought he said that he had 2 million mustangs placed in his program (I misheard him - he was talking about a grant, I believe). But we both laughed and also considered, creatively, what might be possible if we could get mustangs in to every school and the hearts of school children across the nation. It would not only change the trajectory of the wild horses, the range, and the schools, it would change the trajectory of all humanity. You will not want to miss hearing about the visionary competitions in The Kentucky Horse Park and Las Vegas Show Arenas that Matt has spearheaded. You can buy tickets, make donations and find out more here:https://mustangchampions.org/Finally, the third voice you hear, Kevin Lloyd, is a fellow Idaho-an who I'm looking forward to catching up with again at the Driggs rodeo this summer. His job is to capture, place and manage the wild horse herds in our state and region. He had a wealth of perspective and understanding of both the vision and the problems that we, as a nation, and mustangs, as a species, are facing. His passion for caring for the wild horses and leading them in to better lives, care and connections with humanity, especially youth, was beautiful to witness and hear about. If you want connect with Kevin or learn more about how to find the education, training and possibilites inherent in owning a mustang or wild horse, click the article below:https://mypubliclands.tumblr.com/post/128849059547/blm-idaho-engages-youth-with-wild-horsesSpecial thanks to Lisa Dierson who connected us to Julianne Neal (Camden, SC), of JA Media Productions, for the audio excerpt from her panel video for The Mustang SummJust says "buy the book on Amazon!"Support the showConnect with me in the following ways:catcaldwellmyers@gmail.comwww.catcaldwellmyers.com@catcaldwellmyers@adventureparadoxThe Adventure Paradox Podcast Page (Fb)
