I started my first business at 18, which failed miserably 2 months later. And in this video, I share how it all happened. What was the problem I wanted to solve, what was my solution to the problem, how did I execute the business, how did I get the first client, what mistakes I made, what all I got to learn from it and more! The name of the business I started was Pod Infinity. We offered live classes to teach podcasting to people who are interested in podcasting. We also provided full podcast editing and managing services. We even managed to get 7 customers. I also made it's website with a payment gateway. But then I made some mistakes. I was not aware of how to price my services. I ended up taking the price down substantially to get more clients. We offered a 1.5 month training program with classes each Sunday. How to Find your Passion in Life while in College - My 3 Step Process

How to find your passion in life? Perhaps the most asked question on the internet. Here's my secret method on how you can find your passion in life. Firstly, it's important to understand the difference between passion and purpose. You shouldn't be passionate, but be purposeful. I read about this in Ego is the enemy by Ryan Holiday. Now, there is a 3 step process that I use to find my passion. I've learned this from the most successful people in the world, by listening to their talks, reading their books and watching their journey. Step 1: Warren Buffet Technique: Write down the top 25 skills you want to learn in life in preference order. Then circle the top 5 and forget the other 20. Step 2: Learn them all: Start reading books, listening to podcasts and taking courses on these 5 skills. Learn form the people that have years of experience in this field. You'll realize that you liked the idea of becoming that "person" but not the process of learning that skill. Step 3: Apply these skills yourselves: Try all of them yourself, create projects, build it out and see if you enjoy making it. This will help you to boil the 5 skills to the 1-3 most interesting things you want to pursue in life. And that is how you find your passion life. 3 simple steps to help you find your passion. ✨ Tags ✨ How to Find your Passion in Life while in College - My 3 Step Process how to find your passion, how to find my passion, improvement pill, improvementpill, how to know what to do in life, how to know what is my passion, how to find your passion in life, how to find your passion and make it your job, finding passion and purpose in life, find your passion, finding your passion, find your life purpose, how to find your passion in 2020,what should my career be,career path, how to discover my passion, find my passion, which career is right for me

I think that it is the best course that anyone can take to get introduced to computer science because of 1. the amazing professor David J Malan makes every lecture feel like a movie and 2. the well structured content of the course. CS50 is Harvard University's introduction to the intellectual enterprises of computer science and the art of programming. CS50 is the largest course at both Harvard and Yale University and the largest Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) at edX with lectures being viewed by over a million people on the edX platform. CS50x, Harvard University’s introduction to the intellectual enterprises of computer science and the art of programming for majors and non-majors alike, with or without prior programming experience. An entry-level course taught by David J. Malan, CS50x teaches students how to think algorithmically and solve problems efficiently. Topics include abstraction, algorithms, data structures, encapsulation, resource management, security, software engineering, and web development. Languages include C, Python, SQL, and JavaScript plus CSS and HTML. Problem sets inspired by real-world domains of biology, cryptography, finance, forensics, and gaming. The biggest misconception I want to clarify is this idea that as a developer you need to know a lot of programming languages, which makes me mad all the time! It's more important for you to pick up 1 language and learn it and understand it and build projects using it and then jumping on another language. The goal as a developer is to solve problems. Here's what you need to know before starting freelancing. I've seen a lot of how to freelance videos on YT where they only show the bright side of it, and not the whole picture. Here's 3 hard truths to keep in mind before starting freelancing. These include: 1. You are your own boss It's one of the best parts about freelancing, but it also becomes a problem, as you'll have to constantly reach out to people, get more clients, upskill yourself. Since it completely depends on you, you can't just take a day off and relax(it's harder for me atleast) when you see that there's one more client that you can pitch to. 2. There's no security Your client is not liable to get an insurance for you unlike in a job where you get a health insurance and other benefits. You will yourself have to get these securities. Also, since no client will work with you forever, you have to reach out to new people. Some months, you won't get a single project while others you might get tons of projects. 3. Understanding your self worth If you don't know how to properly price your time, clients will easily take advantage of you. This has happened with me as well. Learning to say no when the client pays you less is also something you need to develop. ✨ Tags ✨ The Hard Truth about Freelancing | 3 things to know before starting Freelancing tips to start freelancing, freelancing tips, how to start freelancing, freelancing, freelancing tips for beginners, freelancing for beginners, how to start freelance work, how to start freelance business, ishan sharma, hard truth about freelancing, how to freelance, earn money online, freelancer, how to get clients for freelancing, how to make money online, freelance as a student, the harsh reality of freelancing, how to get started with freelancing

IDE vs Code Editors, a mistake that many people learning to code make when finding an environment to use to write, run, test and debug their code. Beginners see people use Intergrated development environments or IDEs used to teach programming and they themselves try to use an IDE like Pycharm, IntelliJ, Net Beans, Eclipse among others. These applications are used by IDEs that are making scalable applications used by people whereas you as a beginner will be making simple applications to learn basic computer science concepts and syntax of programming languages. You will learn better by using code editors like Sublime text, Atom, Visual Studio code. If you are into Machine Learning and Data Science, try using the Anaconda Distribution along with Jupyter Notebooks. If you are into plain Python, Sublime Text is my favorite. If you are into Web development, Visual Studio Code is the best. according to me. If you are into Android Development, Android Studio is a great option. If you are into Competitive coding, pretty much any code editor should be fine for you. Some also like to use Notepad++. Here's what you need to do to stay consistent as a developer with this one habit that I've used myself. I often receive messages from people asking me how to stay consistent in software development, in learning python or javascript, etc. Defining your goal is important i think before taking up software development. And then writing it down on a piece of paper and then sticking it out on a wall of your room will help you not forget about it. breaking it into chunks so that the goal is achievable is another important thing to do. Also, constantly learning from the world and the latest trends i think is huge. ✨ Tags ✨ coding tech programming productivity how to stay motivated when learning to code programming motivation code motivation inspiration to code no motivation to code programming motivation video computer programming inspiration motivation to learn programming how to learn to code how to learn to code for beginners how to learn to code fast how to learn to code quickly software engineering self discipline bits cast how to stay consistent as a developer

Future of 12th Students After Lockdown?? What You Should Know! #AskIshanShow

A 12th grade student asks me, should he study for JEE or learn coding during this lockdown period. And this is what my response was. I understand it's to resist the temptation to pick up the laptop, install VS Code and starting coding your way through in 12th. Sadly, in India, a better way to pass your time would be to study for jee, the dreaded exam that no one likes. I would really encourage you to focus on jee, bitsat, or other entrance exams during 11th and 12th, so that you can land into a college that has people who are ambitious and want to achieve something in life. Hope this helps. ✨ Tags ✨ students in lockdown things to do in lockdown skills to learn in lockdown lockdown skills productive things to do in lockdown what to do in lockdown students in lockdown class 12 bits goa bitsat iit jee mains iit jee advanced ishan sharma coding or iit jee future of 12th students what will happen after lockdown bits cast
