Great moments are made from great opportunities. Enjoy audio from The Blackhole of Radio formerly of KSMR and now of YouTube & Podcasting.
Jeff Hefel, Jordan Modjeski, Derek Jackson, Joe Dulak, Savannah Slafter, Celeste Van Klein, Matt Klosky, Kyle Black, Christopher Verch
Somehow, the episodes continue to get funnier each week. In this all-time classic, FG1 laughs the hardest he has since Scott was on the show, FG2 is CRAZY, DPJ is stalked, Celeste gets a performance review, and a new guest star appears. Topics include FG2's unwillingness to move on from the BHR, the story of Lamborama (again), rolls, and Blazers. Topics not included: Neil Boyle. Sorry, Neil.
FG2 repeats a story almost as much as FG1 in this one-of-a-kind episode, featuring Tony Pasquesi, a.k.a. The Squeeze. The cast examines itself in the roles of Harry Potter, in which, FG2 is Harry Potter and FG1 is old. Jackson, while quite young, is ill and exhausted, and is losing his essence day by day, courtesy of the Dark Crystal (the title of the next BHR spinoff show). FG2 is the main character of every show and expects a letter from FG1 when she graduates, FG1 and The Squeeze have never been in a fight, and Celeste abandoned town because she had no one to enjoy her natural habitat with.
In this all time classic episode, FG2 can't talk. FG1 is assaulted on-air. Celeste doesn't comb her hair. Tadie appears causing DP and Producer Guy to design a a robot on the Whiteboard in honor of a woman from Tadie's past.
The Blackhole is back for what could be FG2's final first episode. Fall episode 1 kicks off with structured discussion (thanks to Producer Guy), spoiler alerts (THIS WAS NOT MADE FOR KIDS), and maybe one of the hardest laughs in BHR history. Celeste and Black ditch the crew, and the team almost forgets Neil Boyle.
FG1 is OLD. If you didn't believe it at first, watch today's episode as he tries to write Celeste A CHECK?!?!?!! For TWENTY DOLLARS?!?!! In other news, Celeste's life is full of boys and booze. In today's episode, she uses the Blackhole livestream as a mirror while she straightens her hair. FG2 shakes her head quite a bit for a 20 minute episode. She is angry but happy to be in Winona. The aftershow featured a drag race between FG1 and FG2. Â It was quite apparent why FG2 gets speeding tickets. Hi to Neil Boyle.
FG1, FG2, and Celeste catch up after a long hiatus for an impromptu summer episode discussing recent engagements, future engagements, relationship statuses, and Celeste's speeding tickets. FG2 has a new office, hates sand (so much it is unexplainable), and will be returning to Winona in a few weeks. Celeste simultaneously does and does not have a social life, works all the time, and drives too fast (because Winona is "too slow"). FG1 is old, bought a new lawnmower, and is NOT recording podcasts. Celeste and FG2 are the only active HCs. Special shoutouts to both Neil Boyle and José Dulak.
The team returns with special appearances from Black and LP who only show up to live shows on even-numbered Wednesdays. FG2 is sick, Savannah has Celeste disease, and blind professors are proctoring exams. Discussions are had on people being angry (mostly FG2 but also Savannah), people being old (FG1), and people being annoying (that's everyone else). FG1 prepares to move into his new office while FG2 creates her evil scheme to get an office. Arguments are had over who is Hefel's favorite as everyone in the world fights for his attention and approval.
In this week's episode of the Blackhole, Celeste joins early to discuss topics such as how she would NEVER drink hose water, loves to ride horses, and is excited to go tanning. FG1 is old and takes many naps - "If I lay down, it's death" - in his own words. FG2 is short and mad about some random stuff. She was also a tank of a child. Although, at the end of the day, everyone is wondering, WWNBD?
The 400 day draught is over. The HC's watched the first live show in forever. FG celebrates his 100th birthday while screwing up the stream. He's old. Celeste likes alliteration. FG2 is annoyed as usual. Savannah's 80 year old bones got cold. Celeste's privileged lifestyle may have caused HR problems for the team. Neil Boyle was randomly mentioned....
This week's episode improved significantly from last week's. Cast members actually make an appearance. Founder Girl even smiled, maybe even laughed. FG1 still doesn't know how to use technology (probably because he's old), which makes FG2 angry (along with other things). Jackson and Jeff walk down the stairs, Savannah had a successful outing, everything is Office Space, and Hefel is, in fact, not Jackson's dad. Celeste is MIA. Matt Klosky appears. He is not nobody, and, therefore, is somebody.
This week, no one shows up. FG1 & 2 and DPJ discuss Roombas, old people (FG1 is one of these), and tennis balls (riveting, I know). FG2 begins to plan funerals for 2 of her 3 friends (and Jackson realizes he might need more friends). Celeste is under the weather (by choice) and Savannah is napping. Verch is 47 going on 112. Jackson is Love. Jackson is Life. Jackson is 2 more weeks added to the end of the semester.
Too many plotlines for one episode title. This week, Savannah becomes a college student (married at 9, first social event at 21), Modjeski gets an office (and is also angry about something), Verch is an otter, Hefel is Hateful (and old), Celeste is *actually* graduating early, and Neil Boyle is everywhere and everything.
This week, Jackson realizes he is, in fact, not a plumber, FG1 writes haikus (and is super old), and FG2 complains about some crap. The university begs for money, Celeste talks to people about things, and Verch can't walk. Quote of the episode: "I'm thinking in 5 / 7 / 5." - FG1
In this episode of the Blackhole, cast members discuss Verch's recent injury and the curse of the registrar, Mr. Grumbles' Navy stories, how FG1 is really old, and how you should never do anything nice for anyone. FG2 is angry yet again and Celeste has a million credits. What's new?
SMF returns in her second appearance of FG2's regime to witness more discussions on PSEO and other things that piss FG2 off. The team discusses new offices, student habits, getting stabbed for a vaccine, and the potential return of FG1 to campus.
This week, Liam and Neil Boyle make an appearance on air, as well as Master of Meats Jessica Massimo and THE Zak Mayo. Stay tuned as the cast discusses owl pellets, FG2's eating habits, and DPJ's hunger strike. Also, FG1 is really old.
The Blackhole returns to discuss how FG1 is old, fans Neil (and Liam) Boyle, an update on a squirrel, and Seinfeld's parallels to everyday life. Jackson is on a hunger strike for women's hockey shootouts because FG2 is tired of ties. Other topics of discussion include hunting, new offices, the Lasallian mission, and vaccine envy.
In this week's episode (that FG2 forgot to upload), the team discusses Savannah's trip to the ER, DPJ's Valentine's Day history, Celeste's powdered "peanut butter," and Mayo's celebrity look-alike. FG2 becomes furious once again at the conversation of PSEO, and FG1 is really really old.
THE BLACKHOLE IS BACK! And FG2 is happy for an hour. FG1 has forty more years to live (and a fake mustache), Celeste is online shopping, Producer Guy makes an appearance to tell FG2 (again) that she needs to care about more things and be happier. Savannah doesn't understand hockey, and Verch is in an imaginary office. Happy happy happy to be back, FG2 is lonely without her friends.
37 videos. 24 meats. 3 new cast members. 26 new subscribers. 2,111 views. Take a look at the best of the Blackhole from the year, from Meat of the Week to insulting Luke to FG2's rants and everything in between.
In this episode (that FG2 forgets to upload), the team meets one final time before the New Year to discuss various kitchen appliances, HR interviews restaurant bosses, and FG2's apprehension to learning anything other than business. Stay tuned for special guest Zach who makes an on-screen 10-second debut.
The new Blackhole fiscal year has begun. A nearly full cast discusses topics such as Walgreens, FG2's editing genius, and the many "TMI" stories of FG1. Savannah and FG2 are found to be outliers wherever they go, and privately discuss how everyone else is old. Quote of the video: "The damn blondes." - FG1
As all the cast members return home, FG2 recaps how much she enjoys TV (and hates just about everything else). Stay tuned as FG2 discovers she is similar to SMF in more ways than one. FG1 shares stories about how he "loses all the paper," and the days of yore at Saint Mary's. Luke returns after much coercing from FG2 and Savannah, who makes another appearance with her sister.
This week, the cast tackles COVID (literally), FG2 eats cereal and hates living things, DPJ wears a t-shirt and discusses the Chronicles of Higher Ed, and FG1 and FG2 share an affinity for Thanksgiving leftover sandwiches. Meat Girl returns to discuss her life post-Saint Mary's (Golf, Work, Church, Repeat), her newfound COVID vaccine, and how chameleons are the hardest meat to capture (because you have to find them first).
FG2 is on some next level anger after failing an exam, lays in the dark, and gets adopted for a second time. Meanwhile, FG1 won't tell a student that he's no longer enrolled in the class, Savannah hates all people but loves her demon cat, and Jackson is never leaving his house again. Producer Guy also makes an appearance.
In this episode, FG2 has to make some cuts to content for privacy reasons... The all-faculty cast discusses FG1's willingness to receive a vaccine, Funny Guy's ability to give advice, and following toilet paper on social media. Stay tuned for classic bits such as FG2 yelling about something or someone and not being able to hop the boards (or live up to the expectations of her brother).
In this Unfunny Friday, new cast member Jake returns to discuss his new coffee habits (and how time on the Blackhole will eventually deteriorate his soul). FG2 eats the whole time and is annoyed by EVERYTHING (specifically IGEP, PSEO, and the 19 meal plan). FG1 comes prepared with more digs at Modjeski and a musical guest to make this week's show a multimedia experience.
This week's show has more than one special feature. Tune in to hear the Blackhole discuss the peanut butter shortage with special guest Shelly McCallum (making her second appearance on the Blackhole, and it's important to note that her appearance was longer under FG2's regime). Discussions are had on the clone that is the registrar, and the term of "processing queue" which is registrar-speak for "I'll do it later." Meat Girl makes her second season appearance and presents comments on Black Cat Roast and yoga.
In this episode of the Blackhole, a new cast member is introduced! Meet Jake Hagstrom, the replacement for Luke Pauly. In this special episode, the team discusses how weasels are given a bad reputation, how FG2 likes to sit in the dark, the mysterious place of Registrar Land, and the neverending abyss that is the Blackhole. Two fan-favorite stories returned, as FG1 and Funny Guy reminisced on the one student Funny Guy has forgotten in his lifetime. FG1 also told the story of his ballot (potentially for the fifth time on the show).
In another all-faculty episode of the Blackhole, Black returns to reminisce on Lambarama 2020 (RIP), and the demands of Spanish (Business) classes. In other news, FG1 is often distracted by music (which we knew) and shrubbery (which we didn't), FG2 has moved onto Stage 13 anger (where Joe is a permanent resident), and chooses the show over yard time. Also, the Lions still suck and everyone can agree that the Packers are the worst.
In this week's episode of the Blackhole, a new staff arrangement emerges to discuss topics such as turkey legs, boiler rooms, and why Jackson's QR class is afraid of him. This will likely be the last Friday show, especially without crucial cast members Mr. No and FG1. As great of a manager FG2 is, it will always be FG1's show.
In this episode of the Blackhole of Radio Television Zoom, FG2 is extremely impressed by her colleagues for showing up. Additionally, she has many regrets about her life (but what's new). FG1 attempts to break a napping habit (we'll see how that goes) and Savannah talks about education classes (riveting, I know). Many other regulars rotate through the discussion, for a grand total of seven castmates (and FG1's ballot story being told 3 times).
In this week's all-faculty episode, your favorite stars discuss how FG1 spends his free time on YouTube (but still can't play a YouTube video in Zoom), DPJ's music preferences (or preference), and FG2's inability to understand students' lack of interest in their own education. BOLO for Wheel of Opinions on Sunday featuring the subsidiary of Luke and Celeste.
In quite possibly the best episode of Radio Television on the interweb, the Blackhole cast shares an abundance of laughs over your favorite stories and nomenclature. Tune in this week for FG1's inability to open YouTube in class, interpretations of Jackson's dreams, reports on the Blackhole's profits to date, and a return from both Meat Girl and Gina.
The Blackhole returns this week with a showing from many seasoned cast members in which riveting discussions occur on the matters of nomenclature, compression socks, and the Blackhole Store.
The Blackhole of Zoom returns in an engaging one-hour and eleven-minute special quarterbacked by the organization's new upper-level management. Don't worry - your favorite characters and TV personalities still make their token appearance. This week, we discuss the impending doom of Founder Girl along with the underbelly of higher education and the paradox that is trying to encourage 20-year-olds to make smart decisions.
Goodbye Founder Guy, hello Founder Girl. Nothing like complaining about things that haven't happened yet. Kids are still evil.
Three's company.
This week's episode features an all-time low for staff, no meats but add politics? Somehow an intellectual conversation was formed in the soul-sucking Blackhole where things go to die.
Top tier meat of the week + Massimo mispronunciations.
Tune in this week for comments about grades, tests, tegrity, and notetaking. Video not advised for cougars (both the animal and the people) and those who slack off in group projects.
Luke gets another pay freeze and Jackson is an HC.
Hooray for adult supervision.
Founder Guy reigns supreme.
No animals were harmed in the making of this video.
