Adam Sandler! Going Overboard! His first movie ever! Streaming for free on Tubi, and you'll still want a refund! This movie is really, really bad. Hard to be clever and/or poetic after watching something like this. Absolute bullshit experience all around. Welcome to Season 21 (or is it 24?).Unfunny funnyman fails at farce, fumbles with female fraternization, and fosters flare for foes with firearms! Sandler satiating simpletons with sexism! Witless fourth-wall wavering! Straight-jacket homo-jacket homophobic humor! Scrapper Bob and Captain Slider! Very clean women? Does the film live up to the title? No. It's your classic "girl puts scarf on a sexy snowman with abs and it comes to life and the village all believe him and they end up rattling" story. Packed to the gills with Mean Girls references and even a mention of A Christmas Prince. Netflix love reminding us of just how much shit they've made. Last one of this run, be sure to check out all our other episodes on terrible Christmas films. Merry Christmas to you and please never change. Support the show
Father Christmas is coming to town. A town in Yorkshire to be precise. Do you like bad acting, contrived plots, sarcastic sex scenes, vandalised Christmas trees, and no jokes? Then do I have a film for you! This one's definitely on the naughty list. A surreal blend of boring and slapstick that appeals to absolutely everyone... that reads the Daily Express. The moral we take from all this is that, no matter how terrible your script, Kelsey Grammar can still weave his magic. Support the show
You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout I'm telling you why... Holidate is awful. Just bloody awful. We're up to our old tricks reviewing terrible Christmas films and I'm ashamed to say, we picked this one. It's crass, it's not funny, it's boring, the characters are horrible, there's no chemistry, it's all in a bloody shopping mall. Bon appetite! Oh and excuse the weird non sequitur about "lady buffets".Support the show

Click here to try it out!Welcome back to Bad Dads Film Review! Today, we're diving into the quirky and lesser-known comedy, We Married Margo. Released in 2000, this film blends elements of a mockumentary and traditional comedy, exploring the odd but humorous premise of two men who, at different times, were married to the same woman named Margo.Directed by J.D. Shapiro, We Married Margo is based on a real-life situation experienced by Shapiro himself, giving the film an authentic, albeit exaggerated, touch. The story is told through the perspectives of Jake and Rock, played by William Dozier and J.D. Shapiro, who recount their experiences with Margo to a judge during a legal proceeding. Their stories are interspersed with documentary-style interviews and flashbacks that add layers to their bizarre shared experience. The film's narrative structure is unconventional, with Jake and Rock narrating their individual relationships with Margo, their eventual divorces, and the unlikely friendship that develops between them post-Margo. As they delve into the complexities of their relationships, the humor arises from their different personalities and the absurdity of their situation. The court setting adds a comedic formality to their outrageous stories, making for a series of laugh-out-loud moments. Why It's Worth Watching If you're a fan of mockumentaries or are looking for a comedy that's off the beaten path, We Married Margo is definitely worth a watch. It's a film that manages to be funny, thoughtful, and surprisingly heartfelt, despite its zany premise. So, grab some popcorn and join us as we revisit We Married Margo, enjoying the laughs and the peculiar yet endearing journey of two men connected by more than just their former wife. Whether you're in for the comedy or the curious setups, there's a lot to like in this hidden gem.

Putin's lengthy Q&A at the St Petersburg International Forum (SPIEF), in conversation with hawkish academic Sergei Karaganov, provided a useful opportunity to gauge his mood and his vision for both war and peace. From whether Russia is European (yes) to whether he needs to go nuclear in Ukraine (no), one can certainly question many of his claims and assumptions, but he sounded more confident than he has in a while. The podcast's corporate partner and sponsor is Conducttr, which provides software for innovative and immersive crisis exercises in hybrid warfare, counter-terrorism, civil affairs and similar situations. You can also follow my blog, In Moscow's Shadows, and become one of the podcast's supporting Patrons and gain question-asking rights and access to exclusive extra materials right here. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has ended his 2024 presidential bid. One feature of his campaign that caught our attention: the tight-knit relationship between himself and the Ron DeSantis super PAC, two things that should be very separate. We’ll get into how DeSantis’ team pushed the boundaries of campaign-finance law and what it says about how we govern campaign cash in the U.S. And, we’ll peel back the layers of DeSantis’ recent misattributed Winston Churchill quote. As laughter ricocheted around the Supreme Court chamber Wednesday, Professor Mary Anne Franks wondered if she could quite believe her ears. The matter of some hilarity, it seems, were messages sent by a convicted stalker to his victim. Individual messages that were among what one detective estimated to number in the hundreds of thousands - possibly as many as one million messages - sent by Billy Raymond Counterman to singer Coles Whalen. Counterman's campaign of harassment drove Whalen away from performing, indeed drove her away from her home state. She moved across the country to get away. On this week's Amicus, Dahlia Lithwick is joined by Professor Mary Anne Franks to discuss Counterman v Colorado and how the details of a cyber-stalking case were lost to free speech concerns about trigger warnings and "sensitivity". You can read Prof. Franks' powerful piece on this here. In this week's Amicus Plus segment, Dahlia is joined by Slate's Mark Joseph Stern to discuss the big fat settlement Dominion got in its defamation case against Fox News, and why it feels so unsatisfying, the religious liberty case you probably missed at the court this week, Groff v DeJoy. They also talk about how Sen. Dianne Feinstein's continued absence from the Senate Judiciary Committee, and Senate Democrats' workarounds for it, are like bringing a bubble blower to a knife fight. President Biden hadn’t given an interview in 121 days, so who did he decide it was time to speak with to adress the American people? Jimmy Kimmel of course, the smarmy late night “comedian” who has a 6th grader's grasp of American politics (at best). Low IQ, unimpressive Biden did the usual pseudo- folksy “not being facetious” talking points, and took cheap shots at his political opponents. Maybe he should focus on helping to get the price of gas down. Plus Joy Behar- the dumbest woman on television- makes the most jaw-dropping statement about gun laws yet. Wow, she is impressively stupid. Follow Clay & Buck on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/clayandbuckSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
