When Coach Eric Henderson announced that he would be leaving the USC Trojans and returning to the NFL, there were plenty of big names linked to USC for the open job. After a few days of speculation, Lincoln Riley and Gary Patterson ultimately decided to promote from within and move Skyler Jones from defensive analyst to essentially become the defensive tackles coach with Shaun Nua.
