The Wilson County Veterans Service Office is among 24 agencies to receive a portion of ,187,000 in Funds for Veterans' Assistance (FVA) grants in the San Antonio and South-Central Texas region as part of the Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) Grants Across Texas Tour. Funds were awarded by Gov. Greg Abbott in August. Administered by TVC, the funding will provide services to an estimated 103,749 area veterans. The Wilson County Veterans Service Office received 4,000 in funding.
