Today marks 2 years since I received the call that my oldest son, Kyle, had died in a helicopter crash in Kenya, leaving behind his newly pregnant wife and 5-year-old son.One of the things that was very helpful for me after Kyle's death was to be able to reach out and talk with other moms who knew what it felt like to walk down the road that was now in front of me - and help me to look for the light in the dark moments. My friend, Trish Richhart, was one of those moms. She lost her 8 year-old son, Samuel, after a 3 year battle with cancer. We both agree that we would never chose to live those moments again, yet we are very grateful for the faith that grew stronger from those very dark moments. For all things and photos discussed in this podcast click HERE.To contact us: email at fortifyblog@gmail.comFacebook page: https://www.facebook.com/getfortifyedIf you like the content you are hearing, we'd REALLY appreciate it if you would leave us a positive rating up at iTunes. That just helps more people find us so that they can hear the content, too! In this podcast episode, Rachel and Ann talk about their recent - not so great - experiences with Covid-19, the challenges they faced within the health care system, and thoughts on the future of medical choice freedom. This episode covers the "basics" of Covid-19 and some of the current views of treatment. We do believe that statistics are probably accurate in that for a large portion of the population may only experience a mild case of Covid. We think the current estimate is about 80%., However, we think this podcast episode is important to listen to in the event that you, or a family member, turns out to have more than a mild case, because it may help you avoid some of the "hurdles" we went through. You can check all the show notes here:https://forti-fy.com/our-walk-with-covid-and-how-it-may-help-you/
