Check out "The Klown Hour" podcast every Wednesday night at 9:00 EST on BlogTalkRadio. It's basically lots of hard hitting/half-baked sports rants tinged with a bit of humor. We hit everything from the NFL, NBA, MLB, College Football, College Basketball, even a little soccer. Hockey, not so much. Sit back and enjoy ...dammit!!!
We previewed the 2021 MLB season and Final Four, discussed the NBA trades, and as always rapped about all things HBCU sports.
We recapped the 2021 Australian Open, more QB trades, and more Black History moments in sports.
We recapped Super Bowl LV (who should get more credit for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' win: Tom Brady or defensive coordinator Todd Bowles?), broke down more star QBs on the move (Wentz and maybe Russell Wilson?), examined Mark Cuban and the controversy of the National Anthem, and shared more black history moments in sports.
We discussed the Stafford-Goff trade, updated Deshaun Watson trade scenarios, previewed Super Bowl LV, and shared some Black History in sports.

(25:10) - Aaron Rodgers' future in Green Bay (28:15) - Lack of minority head coach hires (35:30) - Eric Bienemy not interviewing well???? (1:23:23) - More black coaches hired as coordinators
Who ya got: Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers? Will Josh Allen break through vs. Patrick Mahomes? Where will the Houston Texans trade Deshaun Watson? Will Kyrie Irving fuck up the James Harden experiment in Brooklyn?
On this edition of "The Klown Hour" podcast, we talked about the James Harden trade, what's going on with Kyrie Irving, thought's on NFL Super Wild Card Weekend, and Nick Saban's legacy.
We recapped the day of Trump protestors storming the Capitol building in Washington, DC, previewed the NFL's Wildcard round and College Football Playoff championship -- and some other random shit.
We broke down the NFL playoff scenarios, Dwayne Haskins release from the Washington Football Team and if he has a future in the NFL, Booger McFarland's comments on black NFL stars, and previewing the College Football Playoff semifinals.

We discussed my Pittsburgh Steelers prime time upset at the hands of the Washington Football Team, the Cleveland Browns big win over the Tennessee Titans, Iowa State being in the College Football Playoff's Top 10, and Errol Spence Jr's dominate win over Danny Garcia.

(1:16:00)
We discussed NBA free agency, debated who the best team in the NFL is, and how the Cincinnati Bengals have failed Joe Burrow in the wake of his injury. Duane Nash and I wondered aloud what the hell were the Charlotte Hornets thinking in giving Gordon Hayward $120 million, and why we thought Jaysom Tatum and Donovan Mitchell signing their big extensions were good for both the Celtics and Jazz, respectively.Even though my Pittsburgh Steelers are still unbeaten, are they really better than the Kansas City Chiefs? Will the Joe Burrow era end the same way Carson Palmer's did? Will the Bengals ever do right by Burrow?
During this episode, we rapped about the 2020 NBA Draft, James Harden and Russell Westbrook wanting out of Houston, format changes to the 2020-2021 NBA season, and the NFL providing incentives for minority hiring. When the Charlotte Hornets selected LaMelo Ball, my partner Duane Nash and I laughed at the thought of Lavar Ball and Michael Jordan going at it 1-on-1 style, but we gave our thoughts on how great the draft pick was. Also discussed if top pick Anthony Edwards will be a bust and gushed over my Knicks' pick of Obi Toppin. While Harden and Westbrook want out of Houston, we gave our thoughts on why we both believe they will stay their asses in Houston this coming season. While we like the NFL trying to make moves for minority coaching/executive opportunities behind the scenes, is the Rooney Rule REALLY working the way it was intended to?
I will be discussing the 2020 ACC football season, including the big Clemson vs. Notre Dame game -- rap a bit about the upcoming men's and women's basketball season -- with Jeff Fan and Matthew, aka Hokie Smash, from All Sports Discussion ACC blog. Notre Dame picked up a huge win over Clemson, albeit against a team that started a backup QB who is a true freshman and that was without its top defensive linemen. Is Notre Dame now the team to beat in the ACC, even with a healthy Clemson? The AP has Virginia and Louisville favored to win the men's and women's regular season title, respectively. The guys and I have some beef with the AP, find out who we think the favorites should be.
The homie Duane Nash and I will be debating who is the best team in the NFL (Chiefs, Steelers, Buccaneers?), previewing Clemson vs. Notre Dame and is Jim Harbaugh overrated or not? My Pittsburgh Steelers are STILL undefeated, but the Kansas City Chiefs are still playing well as the defending champs, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks are straight balling. This debate of who is the best team in the NFL will be settled once and for all (until next week).Clemson at Notre Dame is by far college football's "Game of the Year". Does a Clemson win with a backup QB make the Tigers the team to beat in all of college football?I've long contended that U. of Michigan head football coach Jim Harbaugh is overrated as hell. Hopefully I can FINALLY convince D-Nash the same.
Duane Nash and I will react to the Los Angeles Dodgers' World Series win over the Tampa Bay Rays last night, and all things NFL: last week's games, the drama surrounding the Dallas Cowboys, my unbeaten Pittsburgh Steelers, those lowly Atlanta Falcons, and Dez Bryant and Eric Reid being offered practice squad spots. The Dodgers deservedly won the World Series, but how much help did Rays' manager Kevin Cash give them by pulling ace Blake Snell? Does this kill the "analytics in baseball" support? Is the Dodgers' road to the World Series title tougher than the Lakers' to the NBA Finals? The Steelers won the battle of the unbeatens over the Titans last Sunday. Does this make the Steelers the NFL's top team? The Cowboys are a mess. What, if any, can be done to help turn their season around? The Falcons: WOW, just wow.Two former stars were offered practice squad spots, Dez Bryant and Eric Reid, with the former accepting. How much could Dez help the Ravens? Should Reid have joined Washington's offer?
I will be breaking down the 2020 World Series, who is the best of the unbeaten NFL teams, and how the Dallas Cowboys are faring post-Dak Prescott w/ Duane Nash from "The Yard/HBCU Sports" and Facebook Live's "SLZE Radio". Duane and I are happy that those cheating-ass Astros are not in the World Series, but can the Tampa Bay Rays parlay that into their first championship against the heavily-favored Los Angeles Dodgers? The Pittsburgh Steelers, Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks are the NFL's unbeaten teams. Who is the best of this bunch?I thought the Cowboys would be okay post-Dak Prescott's horrific injury. After watching Monday night's game vs. the Arizona Cardinals, I have my doubts. The players are on the verge of a mutiny vs. head coach Mike McCarthy and his coaching staff. Washington fan/fellow Cowboy hater Duane may have a few good laughs over this.
I will be discussing the Los Angeles Lakers' NBA Finals win along with LeBron James' legacy, MLB League Championship Series, and upcoming NFL games and coach firings with Duane Nash from The Yard/HBCU Sports and Facebook Live's SLZE Radio. The Lakers won their NBA record tying 17th championship, the question now is what this Finals win do for LeBron's legacy? Does it make him the GOAT over the likes of Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson?Your boy is happy as hell that those cheating-ass Houston Astros are on the brink of elimination. Duane's Atlanta Braves are doing the damn thing in the NLCS. Should be a great baseball segment.Browns-Steelers is the game of the week. Who will come out on top? What should the Falcons do now that Dan Quinn and the GM is fired -- not to mention Matt Ryan may not be the QB going forward
I will be discussing the NBA Finals, MLB Playoffs, NFL w/ COVID, and the Houston Texans firing Bill O'Brien with Duane Nash from 'The Yard/HBCU Sports' and Facebook Live's 'SLZE Radio'. The NBA Finals look to be coming to a close. Can the Miami Heat win another game? How great is it that the MLB Playoffs' League Divisional Series are comprised of bitter divisional rivalries? And will someone please beat those cheating-ass Houston Astros?COVID-19 has ravaged the Tennessee Titans, and it claimed Cam Newton and now Stephone Gilmore. Is the 2020 NFL season in danger? And finally, we will openly wonder why in the hell O'Brien lasted so long in Houston and how much it hurt QB Deshaun Watson's development.
I will be breaking down the 2020 NBA Finals and 2020 MLB Playoffs with Kevin McCune from 'The Weekend Adjustments' weekend sports talk show on WMOH "The Ticket". Kevin might be giving me my flowers on accurately telling folks to not sleep on the Miami Heat. Will the Lakers size mitigate the Heat's toughness?Speaking of the Lakers, what would a Finals win do for LeBron James' legacy? No one has won three rings with three different teams while being the lead dog. From a local perspective, how great is it for the folks here in Cincinnati to see the Reds back in the MLB Playoffs? Kevin sure as hell is, and will tell us just why his Reds do have a shot of advancing far in the playoffs.
I will be discussing Deion Sanders becoming the new head coach at Jackson State, the NBA conference finals, and sharing my thoughts on NFL's Week 2 with Duane Nash from 'The Yard/HBCU Sports' and Facebook Live's 'SLZE Radio'. Given that Duane covers HBCU sports, I know he has a plethora of thoughts on Sanders becoming Jackson State's football coach. Will this be the turning point of HBCU athletics as we know it? Will more 4- and 5-star high school athletes consider HBCUs? More importantly, will the administration at JSU do its part by investing in the football program? While the Lakers are still in control of the Western Conference Finals, do the Celtics have a chance against the Heat? In fact, does the Eastern conference champ have a shot in hell vs. the Lakers? It's still too early to know who the contenders are in the NFL wafter Week 2, but we will try to identify them.
I will be discussing the return of Big Ten football, the LA Clippers' epic choke job, and previewing the NBA conference finals with Kevin McCune and Jarrod Singleton, and reviewing Week 1 in the NFL with Duane Nash. Kevin has been pining for the return of the B1G, and has been blasting commish Kevin Warren for the longest. I wonder if he is happy now. The fellas and I will have mad opinions of who is the most responsible for the Clippers' choke job: was it "load management", bad chemistry, coaching? What should be done about Doc Rivers? I told y'all not to sleep on the Miami Heat, and not only are they in the Eastern Conference Finals, they took Game 1 last night from the Boston Celtics. I'm gonna have some fun gloating over that. And yes, the NFL is back and Duane and I will not overreact -- right???
I'll be talking all things 2020 US Open tennis with my homie Janina Reed from the RealzTenisFanz YouTube podcast, NBA playoffs and previewing the NFL season with my co-pilot in crime Duane Nash.
