Phoenix Suns Media Day for the 2024-25 NBA season is almost here! In preparation for the unofficial start to a new season on Monday, the PHNX Suns Podcast is taking a stab at what headlines we'll see at Suns Media Day. From Devin Booker paying tribute to Al McCoy, to Kevin Durant's potential contract extension, to Bradley Beal's role, to Grayson Allen's Sixth Man of the Year campaign, to Tyus Jones and Monte Morris helping cut down on turnovers as the Suns' new point guards, to more bench depth with Morris, Mason Plumlee, Royce O'Neale and rookies Ryan Dunn and Oso Ighodaro, there's a lot to keep an eye on! And that's without even mentioning the possibility of Jusuf Nurkic being the next stretch-5 as Mike Budenholzer's new Brook Lopez, Bol Bol's potential role and how coach Bud will want the Suns to take more 3-pointers. Finally, Espo and Gerald Bourguet hear from Frank Kaminsky, who agreed to a training camp deal with the Suns.An ALLCITY Network ProductionSUBSCRIBE to our YouTube: https://bit.ly/phnx_youtubeALL THINGS PHNX: http://linktr.ee/phnxsportsMERCH https://store.allcitynetwork.com/collections/phnx-lockerALLCITY Network, Inc. aka PHNX and PHNX Sports is in no way affiliated with or endorsed by the City of PhoenixPHNX Events: Get your tickets to PHNX events and takeovers here: https://gophnx.com/events/bet365: https://www.bet365.com/olp/open-account?affiliate=365_03330244 Use the code PHNX365 to sign up, deposit $10 and choose your offer!Disclaimer: Must be 21+ and physically located in AZ. RUNDOWN "Mandela Effect," ALERT! Hotshot blows Mitch's mind by revealing that Ed McMahon, who was widely believed to have worked for Publishers Clearinghouse, actually worked for a competitor, American Family Insurance. Can you spell the capital of West Virginia? How about a recap of near-perfect results for local teams—Cougars winning in double overtime, Huskies dominating Northwestern, and Seahawks crushing the Dolphins. However, the Mariners blow a 5-0 lead, raining on the parade. Mitch's praises Washington Husky Elijah Jackson, who chased down a kick returner at the one-yard line. Is Seattle's defensive prowess truly legit or a result of playing against lesser competition? Mitch Levy, Jacson Bevens, and Brady Henderson break down the Seahawks' commanding 24-3 win over the Miami Dolphins, highlighting a suffocating defensive performance by Seattle, featuring a historic defensive start, holding Dolphins under 150 yards passing for the third straight game. Standout moments include Derek Hall's breakout game with two sacks and a forced fumble. Rick Neuheisel and Mitch Levy deliver an entertaining and lively discussion about Michigan vs. USC and Utah's playoff potential, while discussing under-the-radar players like San Jose State's Nick Nash and Washington State's quarterback, John Mateer. Mitch, Brady, and Joe dive into the crushing realities facing the Seattle Mariners as the season nears its end. With just six games left, the Mariners had a golden opportunity to capitalize on their rivals' losses, only to blow a commanding 5-0 lead in a critical game.
