Zoë and TJ break down what coaching actually is — the plan plus the relationship, communication, and buy-in that no model replicates — and dig into the research, including why studies lag behind the tools athletes are actually using, the 2025 analysis pointing toward hybrid human-plus-AI models, and why AI is a good summarizer but a poor authority. Before that, three rapid-fire segments: why you should hide the heart rate field while racing (and trust RPE instead of a signal that lags 30–90 seconds and gets polluted by heat, caffeine, and sleep debt), whether Hotshot actually fixes muscle cramps and side stitches or just floods your mouth with a sensory distraction, and how high humidity wrecks evaporative cooling, spikes your RPE, and slows your pace — plus why heat training isn't the biohack shortcut Instagram sells. Practical, evidence-based, and skeptical in the best way. Questions or hot takes? microcosmcoaching@gmail.com. Join the community on the Foothills tier ($10/month, code FOOTHILLS10).

RUNDOWN   Mitch and Hotshot dive into the growing obsession surrounding Mariners prospects Cade Anderson and Colt Emerson, debating the impossible question every fan wrestles with: when is a young star actually "ready"? Mitch argues the bigger story right now might be the excitement around the kids in the minors rather than the inconsistent big-league club itself. The Mariners No-Table crew reacts to Seattle wasting another opportunity to gain ground in the AL West after dropping a series to the White Sox, with the conversation centering on Cal Raleigh's brutal slump, a lineup that can't hit with runners in scoring position, and whether the offense is fundamentally flawed. Joe Doyle questions whether Rob Refsnyder's roster spot is already in jeopardy, while Brady Farkas warns the team is running out of time to keep calling these stretches "frustrating." Christian Caple joins Mitch to break down the strange reality of opening the season with the Apple Cup, why the Demond Jr. Williams NIL saga probably won't matter unless he struggles, and whether fans are already primed to overreact to every interception. They also dig into Washington's biggest roster questions — especially at running back after Adam Mohammed's departure — plus why Jedd Fisch is betting heavily on young talent instead of portal mercenaries. Derek Berg joins Mitch to talk about the long, winding golf journey that finally landed him in the PGA Championship at age 44 — from getting dropped off at Carnation Golf Course as a kid to grinding through mini tours, teaching lessons, and surviving years of close calls at the PGA Professional Championship. It's a candid, emotional conversation about chasing a dream long after most people would've quit.   GUESTS   Brady Farkas | Host, Refuse to Lose podcast Joe Doyle | MLB analyst, Over-Slot Christian Caple | Washington Huskies insider and publisher of On Montlake Derek Berg | PGA teaching pro, former University of Washington golfer, and PGA Championship qualifier   TABLE OF CONTENTS   0:00 | Cade Anderson Fever, Colt Emerson Hype & A Birthday Trivia Spiral 23:21 | Mariners No-Table: Cal Raleigh Panic, Castillo Concerns & a Frustrating Mariners Reality Check 46:01 | Christian Caple: Apple Cup Opener, Demond Drama & UW's Playoff Ceiling 1:08:48 | Derek Berg: From Carnation Golf Course to the PGA Championship, qualifying at 44 years old. 1:36:46 | Other Stuff Segment: Seahawks signing Dante Fowler Jr., Seahawks ownership sale reportedly drawing fewer bidders than expected, rookie RB Jeremiah Love landing record guaranteed money, Trevor Bauer offering to return to MLB for free, Brewers flamethrower Jacob Misiorowski throwing 102-mph heat to the Yankees, Austin Reaves feuding with NBA officials during Lakers playoff loss, Tarik Skubal undergoing elbow surgery, new developments in the JPMorgan scandal settlement offer, Jaime Pressly launching an OnlyFans account, pull-up world record set by Xavier Dillard, fraud lawsuit against Shawne Merriman, Mitch's childhood obsession with the Atlanta Braves, WTBS and cable TV nostalgia, Rick Camp's legendary extra-inning home run story, Ted Turner's influence on baseball fandom and cable television RIPs: John Sterling, Ted Turner, Bobby Cox Headlines: Strongman pulls a car with his penis while on fire, off-duty Secret Service agent arrested for public self-pleasure incident, woman delivers baby in car while driving 60 MPH, Ted Turner's children react to massive charitable giving pledge, red fox stows away from England to America on cargo ship

RUNDOWN   Mitch comes in hot after getting a text from Hotshot admitting he had zero interest in watching The Masters — and the argument spirals from there. Its a classic Mitch vs. Hotshot clash: golf relevance, sports fandom standards, and "major" events. Plus, a brutal (and hilarious) birthday quiz that proves the vacation brain is very real. Mitch runs through Rory McIlroy making history with back-to-back wins at The Masters, putting himself in rare company and setting up a potential three-peat run. Meanwhile, the Seattle Mariners suddenly look alive — bats wake up after the Ichiro statue reveal, and a red-hot stretch has fans cautiously believing again, with top prospect Cade Anderson already flashing serious upside. Mariners No-Table break down a sudden offensive surge from Seattle — but stop short of calling it a full turnaround, pointing instead to plate discipline, weak Astros pitching, and small sample size. There's cautious optimism around Julio Rodríguez heating up and the pitching depth holding, but real questions remain about the lineup, rotation decisions, and whether this is momentum… or just a blip. Mitch and Puck bounce from The Masters coverage to classic Augusta quirks — including strict no-phone rules and a wild story involving a pro getting tossed mid-interview. The conversation veers into golf grudges, media memories, and then fully off the rails with NFL-adjacent tabloid buzz.   GUESTS   Brady Farkas | Host, Refuse to Lose podcast Joe Doyle | MLB analyst, Over Slot Jason Puckett | KJ-Aren'ts / Puck Drop   TABLE OF CONTENTS   0:00 | "You Didn't Watch the Masters?!" — Mitch vs. Hotshot 15:42 | Rory Goes Back-to-Back & Mariners Wake Up 29:04 | Mariners No-Table: Mariners Show Life — But Is It Real? 50:26 | KJ-Aren't's Jason Puckett: Masters Madness, Augusta Rules & Tabloid Drama 1:10:25 | Other Stuff Segment: Sam Darnold wedding and NFL guests, Mitch's dislike of Phil Mickelson, Jack Nicklaus ceremonial tee shot controversy, Masters no-cell-phone policy, Nikki Glaser open relationship comments, fan moons crowd at Rays vs Cubs game, CTE confirmation in Steve McMichael, Robert Griffin III pursuing Olympic flag football, Matthew Perry ketamine case sentencing, Britney Spears rehab entry, Mariners momentum check-in HEADLINES: Pennsylvania man injured by pipe bomb he made for entertainment, CDC warns about rhino tranquilizer in fentanyl, possible human remains found at Easter egg hunt, nonprofit promotes "touchy selfie" for men's health RIPs: Steve McMichael, Afrika Bambaataa, Browning Nagle, Davey Lopes, Phil Garner

RUNDOWN   Mitch and Hotshot open with a Tiger Woods' DUI arrest following a car crash, debating addiction, accountability, and whether his injuries and surgeries contribute to a potential dependency on painkillers. The conversation mixes empathy with frustration, as they explore the limits of wealth, resources, and personal responsibility. Mitch and Hotshot kick around Final Four structure—including why reseeding will never happen—while also noting UConn's dominance and the imbalance of the current bracket. They mix in lighter observations like Charles Barkley's noticeable weight loss before turning to baseball, where the Mariners split their opening series despite historically poor production from the heart of the lineup. Mitch is joined by Brady Farkas and Joe Doyle after the Mariners open the season with a four-game split against Cleveland, despite getting almost nothing from the middle of the order. The conversation centers on slow starts from Julio Rodríguez, Cal Raleigh, and Josh Naylor, while Brendan Donovan emerges as an early bright spot. The guys also debate mounting criticism of manager Dan Wilson's bullpen and lineup decisions, assess encouraging signs from the starting rotation and Emerson Hancock's standout outing, and look ahead to a critical stretch against the Yankees and Angels. Mitch and The Ringer's Danny Kelly break down the upcoming NFL Draft, where uncertainty at the top—especially at quarterback—could lead to major movement. Kelly explains why this year's QB class lacks a slam-dunk No. 1 pick, how team needs may outweigh pure talent evaluation, and which prospects could rise late in the process. Mitch joins Jason Puckett to dissect the art of interviewing—specifically why trying to be funny can backfire and why cell phone guests almost always kill timing, pacing, and chemistry. The conversation turns into a masterclass on radio fundamentals, with Mitch explaining his strict "no cell phone" philosophy and how production control separates good interviews from disasters. Along the way, he mixes in classic storytelling—from awkward guest moments to legendary encounters with Dean Smith and Vern Lundquist—highlighting both the craft and chaos of live radio.   GUESTS   Brady Farkas | Host, Refuse to Lose podcast Joe Doyle | MLB analyst, Over Slot Danny Kelly | The Ringer / NFL Draft Analyst Jason Puckett | KJ-Aren'ts / Puck Drop   TABLE OF CONTENTS   0:00 | Tiger Woods' latest DUI arrest sparks a real conversation on addiction, while March Madness rolls on and the birthday game delivers. 22:02 | From Final Four format debates to Charles Barkley's shrinking suits, Mitch and Scott pivot to a Mariners offense already raising questions. 36:42 | Mariners No-Table: Slow Bats, Early Panic, and a Needed Split. Episode 373 - Help Wanted: World Champs Looking for a Running Back   RUNDOWN   Mitch and Hotshot react to the growing likelihood that the Seahawks could lose star running back Kenneth Walker in free agency, debating whether John Schneider's reluctance to franchise tag him signals a different plan at running back. The conversation explores possible draft options, Seattle's roster strategy after a Super Bowl season, and the risks of relying on a rookie backfield solution. Jason Hamilton joins Mitch to discuss his decision to step away after 24 years as the radio analyst for Washington Huskies basketball, reflecting on his journey from UW player to assistant coach to broadcaster. Hamilton explains how the move from the Pac-12 to the Big Ten dramatically changed the travel demands of the job, making it increasingly difficult to balance with his career and family life. Brady Farkas and Joe Doyle join Mitch to analyze the biggest storylines emerging from Mariners spring training, including the development of top prospects Colt Emerson, Cole Young, and Cade Anderson. The discussion covers roster realities heading toward Opening Day—why Emerson likely starts in the minors, how Brendan Donovan stabilizes the top of the lineup, and whether Brennan Davis could force his way into the outfield mix later in the season. RJ Eskanos and Dylan Travers join Mitch to break down the Seattle Kraken's precarious playoff positioning with 20 games remaining, describing the Pacific Division race as a "turtle derby" where nearly every contender is struggling. The trio discuss the team's inconsistency, the addition of volume-shooting forward Bobby McMann, Jordan Eberle's contract extension, and the surprising resurgence of goaltender Philipp Grubauer.   GUESTS   Jason Hamilton | Former University of Washington point guard and longtime Huskies basketball radio analyst Brady Farkas | Host, Refuse to Lose podcast Joe Doyle | MLB analyst, Over Slot RJ Eskanos | Emerald City Hockey Dylan Travers | Emerald City Hockey   TABLE OF CONTENTS   0:00 | Seahawks Running Back Drama, Draft Speculation, and a Classic Mitch Birthday Quiz 23:25 | Jason Hamilton: Reflects on 24 Years on the Huskies Broadcast and Why the Big Ten Era Helped Prompt His Exit 52:28 | Mariners No-Table: Mariners Spring Training Check-In: Prospect Buzz, Opening Day Roster Battles, and Rotation Futures 1:19:16 | Kraken No-Table: Kraken Cling to Playoff Spot as Pacific Division "Turtle Derby" Keeps Seattle Alive 1:43:48 | Other Stuff Segment: Netflix dinosaur series recommendation with Steven Spielberg and Morgan Freeman, World Baseball Classic excitement and Shohei Ohtani's hot start, Julio Rodríguez and other Mariners contributing across WBC rosters, Trent McDuffie becomes highest-paid cornerback and joins Rams secondary, Maxx Crosby says goodbye to Raiders and heads to Ravens, March Madness bracket week and projected No. 1 seeds, Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos call off wedding, Jurickson Profar gets 162-game PED suspension, McDonald's CEO mocked for awkward Big Arch promo video, Britney Spears arrested for DUI, ancient pyramid vandalized by tour guide, Argentine youth viral animal-identifying trend, professional bowler Cameron Crow arrested on drug charges, missing woman found alive 24 years after disappearing during Christmas shopping RIPs: Robert Carradine, Neil Sedaka, Lou Holtz

RUNDOWN   Mitch and Hotshot react to the Seahawks' latest statement win and the stunning reality that a team widely projected to finish under .500 now sits two home wins away from the Super Bowl. They break down why this run feels different from past Seahawks contenders, examine the favorable NFC landscape, and agree there's only one opponent that truly scares them: the Rams. Ray Roberts explains why the Seahawks' ability to run between the tackles and control tempo was the true difference in their win over San Francisco, giving the offense "the remote control" of the game. He details how Mike Macdonald's defense shut down Brock Purdy by eliminating explosive plays, dominating tackles, and keeping constant pressure, while also addressing the benefits and risks of Seattle's first-round bye as they sit two home wins from the Super Bowl. Brady Henderson and Jackson Bevens join Mitch to break down Seattle's 13–3 dismantling of the 49ers, a game that felt like a blowout long before the final whistle. They credit Mike Macdonald's defense for completely erasing Brock Purdy and Kyle Shanahan's offense, while the Seahawks' run-heavy attack controlled tempo and time of possession. The conversation turns to expectations that now come with the No. 1 seed, health heading into the divisional round, and whether any NFC team — Rams included — can realistically challenge Seattle at Lumen Field. Rick Neuheisel joins Mitch to explain how the College Football Playoff quarterfinals exposed the new reality of college football, from Miami's physical formula to Indiana's suffocating defense and Oregon's offensive limitations. He unpacks the NIL and transfer-portal frenzy surrounding stars like Trinidad Chambliss, predicts massive seven-figure payouts for elite quarterbacks, and calls the current system "absolute craziness" headed for a reset.   GUESTS   Ray Roberts | Former Seahawks offensive lineman; Seahawks Radio Network analyst Brady Henderson | Seahawks Insider, ESPN Jacson Bevens | Writer, Cigar Thoughts Rick Neuheisel | CBS College Football Analyst, Former Head Coach & Rose Bowl Champion, Head Coach Dallas Renegades (UFL)   TABLE OF CONTENTS   0:00 | Seahawks surge into Super Bowl contention as surprise NFC powerhouse — but one matchup still looms large. 16:10 | Seahawks dominate 49ers with elite defense and punishing run game in statement win at Santa Clara. 39:24 | GUEST: Ray Roberts; Ray Roberts breaks down Seahawks' physical dominance, elite defense, and Super Bowl–ready mindset after silencing the 49ers. 1:12:10 | GUEST: Seahawks No-Table; Seahawks clinch NFC's top seed as dominant defense, punishing run game, and composure separate contenders from pretenders. 1:40:24 | GUEST: Rick Neuheisel; Neuheisel dives into CFP chaos, NIL madness, and why Indiana and Ole Miss are built to crash college football's old order. 2:05:00 | Other Stuff Segment: College Football Playoff Final Four, Indiana's dominance, Ole Miss upsetting Georgia, Miami upsetting Ohio State, Trinidad Chambliss eligibility and NIL bidding war, Lane Kiffin grocery basket incident, Washington transfer portal departures, DeMon Williams NIL deal and return to UW, Tiger Woods 50th birthday and Champions Tour eligibility, Rachel Uchitel wedding, USC–Notre Dame rivalry potentially ending, Lenny Dykstra arrest controversy, Tom Bodett and Motel 6 lawsuit settlement, Philip Rivers comeback reflection RIPs: Isaiah Whitlock (Actor — The Wire, Da 5 Bloods), Brigitte Bardot (French actress, global sex symbol), Melanie Watson Bernhardt (Actress — Diff'rent Strokes) Headlines Segment: German man sets Guinness record with over 11,000 snow globes, Scientists discover strange lemon-shaped planet that could "sour" your mood, Dating site grows for men with the world's smallest penis, Government releases list of the 25 worst items removed from people's bodies in 2025

RUNDOWN   Mitch and Hotshot break down the massive Seahawks–49ers matchup, laying out the stark difference between winning the NFC's top seed versus entering the playoffs as a road-bound wild card. They debate San Francisco's battered defense, Seattle's dominant defense, and whether Sam Darnold can rediscover the early-season form that once put him in MVP conversations—especially after scoring just 18 total first-half points over the last four games. Mitch floats a classic emotional hedge: bet the 49ers money-line so a Seahawks win feels priceless and a loss at least comes with consolation cash. Mitch and Brady Henderson break down Seattle's 27–10 win over Carolina, praising another elite defensive performance while sounding alarms about the offense's habit of slow starts and turnovers, with just 18 first-half points over the last four games. They preview Saturday night's NFC West showdown in Santa Clara, weighing a battered 49ers defense against Brock Purdy's red-hot offense and debating which version of Sam Darnold shows up. The segment closes with Taco Time honors for DeMarcus Lawrence and Zach Charbonnet, as Seattle stands one win away from the NFC's No. 1 seed and a first-round bye. Rick Neuheisel joins Mitch for a wide-ranging College Football Playoff preview, diagnosing Clemson's 7–6 collapse as the moment NIL and the portal finally "happened" to Dabo Swinney, and reacting with surprise to Kyle Whittingham leaving Utah for Michigan as a potential cleanup hire. Neuheisel breaks down all four CFP games, backing Ohio State to survive Miami, Texas Tech to upset Oregon, Indiana to knock off Alabama, and Ole Miss to take down Georgia. He locks in Ole Miss plus the points as his official pick, staying hot at 8–6 against the spread while handing out Taco Time honors along the way.   GUESTS   Brady Henderson | Seahawks Insider, ESPN Rick Neuheisel | CBS College Football Analyst, Former Head Coach & Rose Bowl Champion   TABLE OF CONTENTS   0:00 | High-stakes NFC showdown looms as Seahawks chase the No. 1 seed, debate a hedge bet, and wonder where first-half Sam Darnold went. 3:08 | BEAT THE BOYS - Register at MitchUnfiltered.com 24:07 | GUEST: Seahawks No-Table - Brady Henderson; Seahawks dominate Carolina but face the ultimate test: hot Niners offense, shaky starts, and everything on the line in Santa Clara. 44:24 | GUEST: Rick Neuheisel; College football's new reality hits Clemson, Michigan turns to Kyle Whittingham, and Neuheisel makes his CFP picks with Ole Miss as the hill to die on.

RUNDOWN   Did you see Anthony Joshua knocking out Jake Paul in a Netflix spectacle that somehow guaranteed both fighters $92 million? While relieved to see Paul finally get hit for real, Mitch is stunned that global interest was strong enough to justify such an enormous payout for an eight-round exhibition. The segment becomes a blunt look at influencer economics, Netflix's business model, and why modern fame—not boxing legitimacy—now drives sports entertainment. Hotshot relives an on-air argument about whether Andy Gibb was a Bee Gee, while Mitch tells the story of getting yanked off a Syracuse DJ shift for interrupting a song to announce Andy Gibb's death. They pivot to Thursday night's Seahawks win over the Rams—Hotshot admits the overturned two-point conversion still feels "cheap," and Mitch argues the lack of urgency proves Seattle believed the play was designed as a forward pass until it wasn't. The segment ends with Mr. Playoffs logic: even if Seattle grabs the NFC's top seed, the Rams likely become the dangerous 5-seed and could boomerang right back into Seattle's divisional-round path. Ray Roberts joins Mitch for an intense Upon Further Review debate, rejecting the idea that the Rams are clearly better and arguing the two teams are neck-and-neck, winning in different ways. He points to Seattle's resilience, defensive toughness, and locker-room connectedness as unmeasurable traits that data and "eye tests" often miss, especially when a team keeps finding ways to win close games. The conversation drills into the overtime drive, the two-point conversion, Sam Darnold's growth, and whether the real breakthrough may be Clint Kubiak learning how best to deploy his quarterback under pressure. Henderson and Bevens dissect the Seahawks' improbable comeback over the Rams, with both pointing to belief, crowd energy, and elite special teams as the real difference-makers in a game Seattle otherwise struggled to control. The conversation zeroes in on Sam Darnold's fourth-quarter and overtime composure—ugly early, elite late—and whether that drive permanently shifts his ceiling against top competition. They also credit Sean McVay's adjustments for the Rams' offensive surge while arguing Seattle's defense and special teams ultimately tilted the outcome. Neuheisel reacts to the opening round of the College Football Playoff, arguing the Group of Five's lack of competitiveness will force structural change, possibly toward a separate championship or play-in model. He weighs quarterback decisions in the NIL era—suggesting Oklahoma's John Mateer should return to college for a more lucrative year—while breaking down Alabama's escape, Miami's survival, Oregon's dominance, and Ole Miss' surge behind Trinidad Chambliss. The segment closes with Michigan's coaching uncertainty, Neuheisel's skepticism about splash hires, and Taco Time honors for Reuben Bain and Chambliss after standout performances.   GUESTS   Ray Roberts | Former Seahawks offensive lineman; Seahawks Radio Network analyst Brady Henderson | Seahawks Insider, ESPN Jacson Bevens | Writer, Cigar Thoughts Rick Neuheisel | CBS College Football Analyst, Former Head Coach & Rose Bowl Champion   TABLE OF CONTENTS   0:00 | Jake Paul gets flattened, Netflix cashes in, and Mitch can't believe a YouTuber just made $92 million. 11:28 | BEAT THE BOYS - Register at MitchUnfiltered.com 16:10 | Bee Gees radio war leads into Seahawks–Rams controversy, "cheap" two-point chaos, and the nightmare math of a Rams playoff rematch. 39:24 | GUEST: Ray Roberts; Ray Roberts pushes back hard: Seahawks aren't inferior to the Rams—they're built differently and just as dangerous. 1:12:10 | GUEST: Seahawks No-Table; "Team of destiny" vibes, special-teams swings, and whether Sam Darnold unlocked the next level after Thursday's chaos. 1:40:24 | GUEST: Rick Neuheisel; Playoff reality check, transfer-market chaos, and why college football's structure is headed for another reset. 2:05:00 | Other Stuff Segment: UW football transfer portal departures (Adam Muhammad, Radlan Vines-Bright, Bryce Butler), NIL money gap between elite programs and UW, Flyers broadcaster hot-mic suspension, UW men's basketball losing to Seattle University again, Terence Crawford retirement, UW men's soccer national championship, Puka Nacua controversy and apology, Miles Jack arrest and welfare check incident, Johnny Manziel scratched from ESPN GameDay, Dick Van Dyke turning 100, Kristin Cabot Coldplay concert fallout and public statement, college football playoff GameDay guest switch, Seahawks playoff positioning and Rams avoidance scenarios RIPs: Greg Biffle, wife Christina Biffle, daughter Emma, son Ryder Dennis Dutton, son Jack Dutton, and Craig Wadsworth (private plane crash), Rob Reiner and wife Michelle Singer, Gil Gerard (Buck Rogers in the 25th Century), Anthony Geary (General Hospital's Luke), Carl Carlton ("She's a Bad Mama Jama"), Mike Campbell (former Mariners pitcher), Peter Green (Pulp Fiction, The Usual Suspects) Headlines: Trump wax statue removed from Texas museum after repeated punches, First female Viagra-style pill finally released after 30 years, Secretary of State Marco Rubio bans Calibri font at State Department, Woman charged for public sex act at a Winn-Dixie grocery store, Robocop statue installed in Detroit… then stolen.

RUNDOWN   Time for a post-Thanksgiving catch-up — from Hotshot's massive Bonnie Lake feast (and industrial-sized leftovers) to Mitch explaining why he avoids other people's stuffing, small talk, and social gatherings altogether. The guys 'roll' into a playful celebration of area code 360, spotlighting surprising celebrity ties: Sam Elliott's Clark College days, Hilary Swank's Bellingham childhood, The Rock's Vancouver roots, and of course Kurt Cobain — whose Aberdeen home, schools, and legacy still anchor the region. Mitch and Hotshot mourn Washington's deflating rivalry loss to Oregon, wondering what's happened to Damon Williams over the last few weeks and whether Jed Fisch's 8–4 season is real progress or just a tiny baby step. They pivot to the Seahawks' 26–0 shutout of a completely overmatched Vikings team led by one-and-done starter Max Broer, raising fresh concerns about Sam Darnold, a sputtering passing game, and what—if anything—you can actually learn from a win like that. Mitch then slips into full "Mr. Playoffs" mode, mapping out the Rams–Seahawks tiebreaker hell. Brady and Jacson join Mitch to break down Seattle's emphatic 26–0 shutout of Minnesota — the team's first since 2015 — powered by five takeaways, four sacks, and total defensive domination of an undrafted rookie QB. While the win keeps Seattle tied atop the NFC West, all three acknowledge the troubling offensive trend. The crew debates whether this defense — with Ernest Jones ascending, DeMarcus Lawrence wrecking pockets, Reek Woolen surging, and reinforcements like Julian Love near return — is good enough to carry a sputtering offense deep into January. Rick joins Mitch to dissect Washington's season-ending loss to Oregon — highlighting Damon Williams' late-year regression, disorganized reads, and off-timed footwork, while crediting Dante Moore for outplaying him in a game UW needed. They walk through the wild coaching carousel (Lane Kiffin to LSU? Will Ole Miss even let him coach the playoff?) and unravel the tangled playoff math: whether the Ohio State–Indiana loser still deserves a bye, how an Alabama loss would knock them out, and why Texas Tech's "purchased darlings" have a real shot to win it all.   GUESTS   Brady Henderson | Seahawks Insider, ESPN Jacson Bevens | Writer, Cigar Thoughts Rick Neuheisel | CBS College Football Analyst, Former Head Coach & Rose Bowl Champion   TABLE OF CONTENTS   0:00 | Thanksgiving Leftovers, the 360 Area Code Deep Dive, and a Tour Through Kurt Cobain's Aberdeen Roots 10:57 | BEAT THE BOYS - Register at MitchUnfiltered.com 15:22 | Ducks Roll the Dawgs, Damon Williams Stalls, and the Seahawks Cruise While Playoff Math Gets Messy 35:39 | GUEST: Seahawks No-Table; Seahawks Blank Vikings 26–0, Rise to 9–3, and Spark Big Questions About Darnold, Pressure, and JSN Dependency 1:01:46 | GUEST: Rick Neuheisel; Neuheisel Breaks Down Oregon–UW, Lane Kiffin Chaos, and the High-Stakes Math of the New 12-Team Playoff 1:32:26 | Other Stuff Segment: three-six-oh shoutout to Ben Gibbard and Death Cab for Cutie in Bremerton, Huskies bowl projections (LA Bowl vs Boise State/UNLV, Sun Bowl vs SMU, or Holiday Bowl vs Pitt in San Diego), Lane Kiffin bolts Ole Miss for LSU and gets cussed out at the airport while Ole Miss fans also blame Pete Carroll and even God for "telling him to go," Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia's brother Javier arrested again for public intoxication at Neyland Stadium, Jim Mora Jr leaves UConn for Colorado State and we revisit his infamous Hugh Millen "I'd leave in a second for UW" comment and his brutal Olindo Mare kicker rant, Carmel-by-the-Sea banning pickleball at public courts over nonstop paddle pop noise, Lions' Thanksgiving halftime show with Jack White bringing out Eminem for a Detroit super-collab, ozempic "perk" for men where losing weight makes everything look bigger downstairs, Paul Anka's new doc and his stories about Frank Sinatra's and Milton Berle's legendary endowments, Italy's "Mrs. Doubtfire" scam where a son dressed as his dead mom for years to steal her pension, Richard Simmons' Hollywood Hills house getting a big price cut on the market, RIPs: Fuzzy Zoeller – Masters and U.S. Open champion – dead at 74, HEADLINEs: France's far-right leader gets egged and floured like a human baguette, Brain scan reportedly shows Kim Kardashian has "low activity" upstairs, Trump supposedly slaps a "No fat chicks" sign outside the Oval Office, Thieves steal $90K worth of gourmet snails and instantly become the true escar-goats

RUNDOWN   We're celebrating the start of Year 8 of Mitch Unfiltered! Mitch checks in from Las Vegas—oddly with zero urge to gamble—while Hotshot breaks down his old roulette system and the painful bad beat that once drove him out of Vegas for years. Mitch and Hotshot geek out over the new Eddie Murphy documentary, then Mitch tells his favorite 10-seconds-of-fame story — yelling a deep-cut sketch line to Murphy at a 1985 stand-up show and getting singled out from the stage. They pivot to the Seahawks' 30–24 "no-win" win in Nashville, weighing how worried to be about letting a 30–10 lead shrink, while marveling at Jaxon Smith-Njigba's obscene pace (already breaking the single-season franchise yardage mark in 11 games) and explaining why Rams-Bucs, common opponents, and divisional records mean Seattle may need both a win over the 49ers and help from the lowly Cardinals to take the NFC West. Steve Phillips joins Mitch to unpack Seattle's near–World Series run — from Julio Rodríguez's late-season surge to the Game 7 choices that doomed the Mariners, including pulling George Kirby too early and avoiding Andrés Muñoz in the highest-leverage spot. He explains why modern analytics can mislead managers, why Aaron Judge rightfully edged Cal Raleigh for MVP despite East Coast conspiracy theories, and why extending Josh Naylor was the right call even if the back-end years sting. Brady and Jacson join Mitch to break down Seattle's 30–24 win over the Titans — a game that was far closer than it should've been against the NFL's worst roster. They dissect the defensive lapses (two long late TD drives, missed tackles, fatigue), Sam Darnold's clean but risky performance (a couple near-picks, heavy JSN dependence), and a quietly emerging run game anchored by Walker and Charbonnet. Rick Neuheisel joins Mitch to reset the entire college football landscape heading into rivalry week — from Washington's shot at a season-defining upset over Oregon to the seismic consequences of an eight-win finish versus nine. He breaks down the transfer-portal era attrition at programs like UCLA, the SEC's multi-team playoff math (with Alabama's "brand advantage"), and why chaos in Austin, Baton Rouge, and Oxford could reshape the playoff bracket if Lane Kiffin jumps jobs before December 3rd.   GUESTS   Steve Phillips | Former Mets GM & MLB Analyst (SiriusXM / MLB Network) Brady Henderson | Seahawks Insider, ESPN Jacson Bevens | Writer, Cigar Thoughts Rick Neuheisel | CBS College Football Analyst, Former Head Coach & Rose Bowl Champion   TABLE OF CONTENTS   0:00 | Mitch Turns 8 (Seasons), Vegas Without Gambling, and a Birthday Tour Through Sports, History… and Freddie Mercury 12:00 | BEAT THE BOYS - Register at MitchUnfiltered.com 16:09 | Eddie Murphy, Clint, and a Nervy 8–3: Seahawks Survive Titans While JSN Flirts with 2,000 Yards 40:55 | GUEST: Steve Phillips; Steve Phillips on the Mariners' Game 7 Collapse, Cal Raleigh's MVP Near-Miss, and Seattle's Offseason Decisions 1:05:13 | GUEST: Seahawks No-Table; Seahawks Escape Tennessee, Move to 8–3, and Reveal Both Promise and Warning Signs in Nashville 1:27:51 | GUEST: Rick Neuheisel; Rick Neuheisel on Washington–Oregon Stakes, Lane Kiffin Chaos, and a Wild Final Push Toward the Playoff 2:01:20 | Other Stuff Segment: NFL players spitting incidents (Jalen Carter, Jamar Chase, Jalen Ramsey, Boise State, massive fines for spitting), Mariners non-tender Gregory Santos after almost never pitching, questions about how MLB trade physicals get passed, Dodgers Game 7 World Series home run balls (Miguel Rojas, Will Smith) both caught by same father/son and later underperforming at auction, Lane Kiffin's reported choice between Ole Miss, LSU, and Florida with a 7-year $98M deal and $25M/year in NIL money, UW women's soccer upsets #1 Virginia 10v11, Belichick family blowup, Chris Paul announces plans to retire after the 25–26 season and reflects on a Hall of Fame point guard career, Boris Becker (age 58) welcomes baby daughter, Kevin Spacey claims to be essentially homeless and working as a lounge singer in Cyprus, Ace Frehley's famous smoking sunburst Les Paul goes up for auction, RIPs: Rodney Rogers — Wake Forest star and 12-year NBA forward, dies at 54, Jellybean Johnson — drummer for The Time, dies at 69, Randy "Junkman" Jones — Padres legend, dies after a long career in and around baseball, HEADLINEs: Airport bulge turns out to be two endangered parakeets, Interstate flasher "needed excitement", Two Texas men plot to invade a Haitian island and enslave everyone, Failed threesome leads woman to beat up her boyfriend, Study says Viagra may help with hearing loss.
