If Part 1 made you believe a clinical yoga therapy job was possible, Part 2 is going to show you how to start going after one. Jenna Csont and Whitney Pasch get into the practical side — networking in spaces where yoga professionals are still a new concept, the education that makes these opportunities available, reaching out to therapy centers, and why knowing how to clearly explain what yoga therapy is may be the most underrated professional skill you can develop. Rebecca also reflects on what Jenna's path represents: solo, ground-up, door-building work that most of us weren't warned we'd need to do. If you're a yoga therapist who wants to work in clinical or medical settings, this episode is required listening.RESOURCESWorking In Yoga WebsiteWorking In Yoga NewsletterThe Back RoomInside Yoga Magazine
April 11th, 2026: Easter Saturday - What is the Pasch?; Enter into the Tomb; He Saw & Believed; Receiving Holy Communion is the Best Antidote Against Sin
A lot of yoga therapists were told — or assumed — that salaried, benefits-included jobs simply didn't exist in this field. Jenna Csont and Whitney Pasch are here to complicate that story. In Part 1 of this two-part conversation, Rebecca talks with Jenna and Whitney about their work at a trauma-therapy clinic in the Chicagoland area, where they bring yoga — in all its forms, not just movement — to clients who might never have found their way to a studio class. They get into what clinical yoga therapy actually looks like day to day, what level of training is required, the relationship-building it takes to earn real respect inside a western medical setting, and the bigger conversation about accessibility and yoga's roots. This one will have you thinking about what's possible.RESOURCESWorking In Yoga WebsiteWorking In Yoga NewsletterThe Back RoomInside Yoga Magazine
{12:1} Iesus ergo ante sex dies Paschæ venit Bethaniam, ubi Lazarus fuerat mortuus, quem suscitavit Iesus.{12:1} Then six days before the Passover, Jesus went to Bethania, where Lazarus had died, whom Jesus raised up.{12:2} Fecerunt autem ei cœnam ibi: et Martha ministrabat, Lazarus vero unus erat ex discumbentibus cum eo.{12:2} And they made a dinner for him there. And Martha was ministering. And truly, Lazarus was one of those who were sitting at table with him.{12:3} Maria ergo accepit libram unguenti nardi pistici, pretiosi, et unxit pedes Iesu, et extersit pedes eius capillis suis: et domus impleta est ex odore unguenti.{12:3} And then Mary took twelve ounces of pure spikenard ointment, very precious, and she anointed the feet of Jesus, and she wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the ointment.{12:4} Dixit ergo unus ex discipulis eius, Iudas Iscariotes, qui erat eum traditurus:{12:4} Then one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who was soon to betray him, said,{12:5} Quare hoc unguentum non væniit trecentis denariis, et datum est egenis?{12:5} “Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the needy?”{12:6} Dixit autem hoc, non quia de egenis pertinebat ad eum, sed quia fur erat, et loculos habens, ea, quæ mittebantur, portabat.{12:6} Now he said this, not out of concern for the needy, but because he was a thief and, since he held the purse, he used to carry what was put into it.{12:7} Dixit ergo Iesus: Sinite illam ut in diem sepulturæ meæ servet illud.{12:7} But Jesus said: “Permit her, so that she may keep it against the day of my burial.{12:8} Pauperes enim semper habetis vobiscum: me autem non semper habetis.{12:8} For the poor, you have with you always. But me, you do always not have.”{12:9} Cognovit ergo turba multa ex Iudæis quia illic est: et venerunt, non propter Iesum tantum, sed ut Lazarum viderent, quem suscitavit a mortuis.{12:9} Now a great multitude of the Jews knew that he was in that place, and so they came, not so much because of Jesus, but so that they might see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.[8] "Me you have not always": Viz., in a visible manner, as when conversant here on earth; and as we have the poor, whom we may daily assist and relieve.

Lent is the period in the Church's calendar to where the faithful are encouraged to rekindle their relationship with Jesus through practices such as prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Come Easter, we can rise with Christ a new creation. This blogcast explores “Lenten Transfiguration" from the Ad Infinitum blog, written by Kate Fowler and read by Jonathan Harrison.“Peter and his companions had been overcome by sleep, but becoming fully awake, they saw his glory and the two men standing with him.” -Luke 9:32Twice in the Gospels we hear of the trio of disciples sleeping at pivotal moments in Christ's life and ministry: at the Transfiguration – in this Sunday's Gospel – and in the Garden of Gethsemane during Christ's Agony. Both times, Christ is in deep prayer. And both times, Peter, James, and John are “overcome by sleep.”I get it. The group of men have just hiked up a mountain. It would have been normal to rest after such a grueling endeavor. Similarly, in the Garden, Jesus took the three disciples to pray after the Feast of the Passover—a long, filling meal complete with wine. I think of all the times I've napped after a holiday meal and sympathize with Peter, James, and John. In these scenes, they are so human. They become tired and rest their eyes. And yet, because of their physical tiredness, they miss out on God's glory. In this week's Gospel for the Second Sunday of Lent, Jesus is transfigured and his three beloved disciples are offered a glimpse of the glory to come—not only the glory of the Resurrected Christ, but the glory that awaits all men and women who allow themselves to be transformed by his grace. This Lent, I find myself asking, “Am I asleep with his disciples? What's causing me to shut my eyes to God's glory?” These questions are what have guided my Lenten journey as I discern how to grow in holiness this season. Each year, the Church in her wisdom asks us to reflect on what is making us spiritually sluggish and helps us prepare for Easter through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. By ramping up in these three Lenten tenets, we can grow in our ability to see God's will and the Holy Spirit at work in our lives.Had the Apostles been awake throughout the entirety of Christ's Transfiguration, they would have basked longer in this glory—fear and confusion would not have gripped them. Lent calls us to wake up, to be alert, not only for the Easter celebration, but for God's invitation to greater holiness throughout our lives.Pope Francis highlights Lent as the continuation of the “journey of conversion.” This journey is a lifelong one. And yet, seasons such as Lent, which focus on an even greater attention to prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, often spur us deeper and further on this journey towards Christ. As Pope Francis encouraged in his 2019 Lenten message:Let us not allow this season of grace to pass in vain! Let us ask God to help us set out on a path of true conversion. Let us leave behind our selfishness and self-absorption, and turn to Jesus' Pasch. Let us stand beside our brothers and sisters in need, sharing our spiritual and material goods with them. In this way, by concretely welcoming Christ's victory over sin and death into our lives, we will also radiate its transforming power to all of creation. The goal of Lent is not only Easter, but Christ Himself. This Lent, may our participation in prayer, fasting, and almsgiving help us shake off the drowsiness that shuts our eyes to God's glory. Welcome to What Matters Now, a weekly podcast exploring key issues currently shaping Israel and the Jewish World, with host Amanda Borschel-Dan speaking with James Pasch, the Anti-Defamation League's vice president of litigation. Pasch, is currently in Israel to meet with the plaintiffs in a massive lawsuit the ADL initiated against Iran, North Korea, Syria and Hamas, for their part in the October 7 massacre. In a new strategy, the legacy Jewish organization's work in fighting antisemitism is moving to encompass lawfare and since the Hamas onslaught on southern Israel on October 7, 2023, the ADL has filed more lawsuits than in all the years of the existence of the organization. In this podcast, we discuss how the ADL and other legal organizations are being creative in repurposing laws and redefining terms. We also hear about the struggle to remain firmly inside the Constitution and Bill of Rights when taking on the campus protests that test the boundaries of Freedom of Speech. And we learn how the ADL is preparing for the next big wave of campus hate. And so this week, we ask James Pasch, what matters now. What Matters Now podcasts are available for download on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube or wherever you get your podcasts. This episode was produced by the Pod-Waves. From cross country skiing and running to ice hockey, sport has always been a big part of Minnesota native Annika Pasch's life. Today, she's added biathlon to her repertoire with the responsibility of managing health and wellness for the U.S. Biathlon Team as part of its partnership with University of Health. Pasch joined Heartbeat as she headed out to Europe for her second season wth the team. What motivated her to become an athletic trainer?“Just being an athlete, kind of identifying as an athlete myself for so long, just seeing the passion and the hard work that those athletes put into what can essentially become their career,” she said. “I just want to do everything I could to let them be successful. And that's a huge part of my job – just keeping that arrow pointed forward for someone to just keep on the track of success.”So what is health and wellness? And why is it important for athletes – and for all of us?“Health and wellness is what gets you through every day,” said Pasch. “And if you're not respecting your body and taking care of it 24 over seven, that's lost time. If you look at it as the athletes, it's their job.”Her background has taken her to basketball, hockey, and track. And one of the keys for her in her new role with U.S. Biathlon is her own background as a cross country skier. When describing her role to others who might not know what an athletic trainer does, she compares it as a cross between a physical therapist and an EMT. “A lot of the education and focus is on first response and emergency care,” she said. But today, a lot of energy goes into injury and illness prevention. “That's where that physical therapy, that rehab, the diagnostic piece comes into it,” she said. “And then layered within all of that in the education is pharmacology, general medicine, sports psychology, nutrition. We kind of get a little sprinkling of everything.”As a passionate cross country skier herself, she's now become one of biathlon's biggest fans. And, yes, she has picked up a biathlon rifle to try shooting. This winter, she will hopscotch around Europe as the U.S. Biathlon Team heads to Antholz for the Olympic Winter Games.Get to know Annika Pasch and the valuable support services she's bringing to biathletes in this episode of Heartbeat, the U.S. Biathlon podcast.

The Resurrection is a reality that we experience today in the here and now. It is not just something that happened in the past. We can have hope in Jesus Christ. Listen to Fr. Frank Donio, S.A.C share more in this segment from the Son Rise Morning Show on Sacred Heart Radio, in his reflection on Pope Francis' homily from the Easter Vigil, 2024. The Resurrection gives us great hope, this is what we celebrate at Easter.‘Brothers and sisters, Jesus is our Pasch. He is the One who brings us from darkness into light, who is bound to us forever, who rescues us from the abyss of sin and death, and draws us into the radiant realm of forgiveness and eternal life. Brothers and sisters, let us look up to him! Let us welcome Jesus, the God of life, into our lives, and today once again say “yes” to him. Then no stone will block the way to our hearts, no tomb will suppress the joy of life, no failure will doom us to despair. Brothers and sisters, let us lift our eyes to him and ask that the power of his resurrection may roll away the heavy stones that weigh down our souls. Let us lift our eyes to him, the Risen Lord, and press forward in the certainty that, against the obscure backdrop of our failed hopes and our deaths, the eternal life that he came to bring is even now present in our midst.Sister, brother, let your heart burst with jubilation on this night, this holy night! Together let us sing of Jesus' resurrection: “Sing to him, everything sing to him: rivers and plains, deserts and mountains … Sing to the Lord of life, risen from the tomb, more brilliant than a thousand suns. All peoples beset by evil and plagued by injustice, all peoples displaced and devastated: on this holy night cast aside your songs of sadness and despair. The Man of Sorrows is no longer in prison: he has opened a breach in the wall; he is hastening to meet you. In the darkness, let an unexpected shout of joy resound: He is alive; he is risen! And you, my brothers and sisters, small and great ... you who are weary of life, who feel unworthy to sing… let a new flame be kindled in your heart, let new vitality be heard in your voice. It is the Pasch of the Lord, brothers and sisters; it is the feast of the living” (J-Y. QUELLEC, Dieu face nord, Ottignies, 1998, 85-86).” (From Easter Vigil homily by Pope Francis, 2024) Notes:Jubilee ResourcesRead Pope Francis' Homily HereOn Mission: Easter Vigil and Easter Traditions Follow us:The Catholic Apostolate CenterThe Center's podcast websiteInstagramFacebookApple PodcastsSpotify Fr. Hebr. Nie odnaleziono go, ponieważ Bóg go zabrał. Kto bowiem przychodzi do Boga, musi uwierzyć, że On istnieje i nagradza tych, którzy Go poszukują. (15) I jeśliby im chodziło o tę, z której wyszli, mieliby sposobność do niej powrócić. Ofiarował jedynego — on, który otrzymał obietnicę (18) i do którego powiedziano: Twoim potomstwem będzie nazywane potomstwo Izaaka. (22) Dzięki wierze umierający Józef wspomniał o wyjściu synów Izraela i wydał polecenia dotyczące swoich kości. (24) Dzięki wierze Mojżesz, kiedy dorósł, nie zgodził się, by go nazywano synem córki faraona. Nauczanie z dnia 23 lutego 2025

In this week's episode, we reflect on the themes of resurrection, grief, and hope in Pope Francis' Easter Vigil homily. We chat about the sadness of unfulfilled dreams and the tender places in our hearts where we are afraid to hope and want to stay in the tomb. We also talk about the anxieties and worries that can come with trying to figure things out on our own and the importance of surrendering our plans to God. Just like Christ, we are called to walk through the sufferings of this life with Him into the Resurrection. Where are the places that I am afraid to hope? Do I believe my dreams are doomed to fail? What anxieties in my heart are preventing me from hoping? Discussion Questions: How are you still living in winter during the spring of Easter? Do you know how to practice Resurrection? In what ways do you believe your dreams rely on you for their fulfillment? How do you intellectualize or explain away your dreams? Quote to Ponder: “Yet the same women who bore this darkness in their hearts tell us something quite extraordinary. When they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had already been rolled back. This is the Pasch of Christ, the revelation of God's power: the victory of life over death, the triumph of light over darkness, the rebirth of hope amid the ruins of failure. It is the Lord, the God of the impossible, who rolled away the stone forever. Even now, he opens our hearts, so that hope may be born ever anew. We too, then, should “look up” to him.” (Pope Francis, Easter Vigil Homily) Scripture for Lectio: “When they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had already been rolled back.” (Mark 16:4) Sponsor - Farm of the Child: Farm of the Child is a Catholic children's home, school and clinic in Trujillo, Honduras where children receive healing care from a team of Honduran staff, Franciscan sisters, and international missionaries.
