Wow, was für ein Event. Apple hat am Dienstag ein „Hardware-Feuerwerk“ abgefeuert. Wir wollen uns in dieser Sendung Zeit nehmen, die wichtigsten Dinge aufzuarbeiten. Nur etwas über eine Stunde hat das Event gedauert und war an vielen Stellen extrem vollgepackt mit neuen Produkten und Informationen. Wir haben die Veranstaltung, die auch dieses mal Corona bedingt als Aufzeichnung lief, intensiv begleitet. Alles so schön bunt In dieser Ausgabe der Sendung wollen wir uns mit ein paar der Neuheiten beschäftigen, die Apple uns präsentiert hat. Endlich haben die lang erwarteten AirTags das Licht der Welt erblickt. Nicht gerechnet haben wir mit einer neuen Farbe für das iPhone 12 (und das iPhone 12 mini). Dieses kommt nun zusätzlich in Lila. Mit neuen iMacs haben wir gerechnet, dennoch hat Apple hier mit einer sehr frischen Farbauswahl überrascht. Die Geräte kommen mit dem M1-Chip und einem (wiederbelebten) magnetischen Netzteil-Anschluss. Auch das Zubehör passt sich farblich an. Außerdem hat das neue Keyboard nun auch TouchID. Aber aufgepasst: Nicht alle iMac-Modelle haben die gleichen Features. Das werden wir auf jeden Fall in der Sendung aufklären. Auch das iPad pro hat ein Update bekommen. Wider Erwarten hat Apple hier aber nicht einen A14X oder ähnlich benannten Chip verbaut, sondern setzt auch in den Profigeräten nun auf Apple Silicon und spendiert dem Gerät ebenfalls den M1. Allerdings bekommt nur das große iPad in den Genuss der MiniLED-Technik. Das Kleine muss weiterhin mit einem LCD leben.
