W 34. odcinku „Przerwy Technicznej” trójka prowadzących – Marek, Remek i Kuba – rozmawia o ostatnich aktualizacjach systemów Apple oraz o tym, jak wpłynęły one (bądź nie) na ich codzienną pracę. Na pierwszy ogień idzie macOS 15.4, który chociaż załatał ponad 100 luk bezpieczeństwa i naprawił między innymi uciążliwy błąd ze Spotlightem, nie wprowadził żadnych znaczących funkcjonalności w języku polskim. Dyskusja zahacza także o brak obiecanego „klonowania iPhone'a” (czyli wyświetlania ekranu telefonu na Macu) oraz o to, dlaczego wciąż nie mamy wsparcia dla polskich komend i funkcji Apple Intelligence (a raczej – jak żartują prowadzący – „Apple nieIntelligence”). W rozmowie pojawia się również iOS 18.4, który z kolei przynosi nowość w postaci automatycznego usuwania niechcianych elementów ze zdjęć. Prowadzący zwracają uwagę, że podobne funkcje istniały już w zewnętrznych aplikacjach, więc cudów się nie spodziewają, choć cieszy ich fakt, że jest to teraz natywnie wbudowane. Niemniej, w kontekście polskiego użytkownika niewiele w tej wersji systemu naprawdę „zaskakuje”, zwłaszcza jeśli chodzi o polskojęzyczne elementy AI w Mail czy Pages. Z nadzieją patrzą jednak na przyszłe odsłony (iOS 19?), licząc, że Apple w końcu wprowadzi szersze wsparcie dla naszego języka. Sporo uwagi poświęcono też AirPods Max – Kuba zdecydował się na zakup nowego modelu z portem USB-C i możliwość słuchania w trybie bezstratnym (lossless). W rozmowie padają szczegółowe wrażenia z kilkugodzinnych testów – od wysokiego komfortu noszenia, przez świetny tryb przezroczystości, aż po obiecywane 24-bitowe, bezstratne audio w połączeniu przewodowym. Dla wielu osób jest to istotna zmiana, bo w końcu można skorzystać z pełnej jakości utworów w Apple Music, choć pojawiają się pytania o opłacalność i… o przyszłe ceny słuchawek w kontekście różnych zawirowań celnych i spadków akcji Apple. Na koniec, w mniej technicznej części, prowadzący krótko omawiają premierę konsoli Nintendo Switch 2 (zwiększona wydajność, 4K w trybie zadokowanym, obsługa DLSS i dość wygórowana cena), a Marek dorzuca jeszcze rekomendację muzyczną – najnowszy album zespołu Gotthard, „Stereo Crush”, który podobno świetnie brzmi właśnie na AirPods Maxach z włączonym lossless. Jeśli więc chcecie wiedzieć, czy polscy użytkownicy Apple doczekają się w końcu rodzimych funkcji AI, jak wygodne są AirPods Max przy dłuższym noszeniu oraz co ciekawego Nintendo szykuje dla fanów gier, zapraszamy do przesłuchania 34. odcinka „Przerwy Technicznej”.
