It's time to close out BAD MOVIE MONTH for another year and we do so with many apologies in advance as we sadly have to bring you the absolute turkey that is Independence Day: Resurgence from 2016. It's terrible. It's horrible. So don't watch the movie. Ever. And probably don't listen to this episode. Go do something valuable with your life instead. You're welcome. Have a good day! ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★
BAD MOVIE MONTH continues with another sequel considered to be far inferior to it's original, as we switch back to 1997 and go over Speed 2: Cruise Control. Is this movie really as bad as people remember? How amazing is Willem Dafoe? Why is Jason Patric a thing and who is he? How has Sandra Bullock changed so much from the first movie to the second? Why is this on a boat? Why don't we like any of the characters in this movie? Is the action at least entertaining? Is there some good music in this film? Why do we feel for the people of the Caribbean after their harbour is clearly destroyed forever after this movie? And why are we excited to once again talk about New Zealand's most handsome man Temuera Morrison? There's a lot to get to as always so tune in! ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★
Our next BAD MOVIE MONTH is here with another BAD SEQUEL as we move into the movie that killed the Superman franchise for nearly 20 years, Superman IV: The Quest for Peace from 1987. Just how bad is this movie? Is it so bad it's actually secretly good? Does Christopher Reeve give a very underrated performance in this movie? Why are we glad that some of the Two and a Half Men are in this movie? Do we understand the plot of this film? Why is the kid in this movie the worst? Should the sun have exploded with all the nuclear bombs in it? Is Superman basically a dictator who holds the world to ransom in this movie? And should this movie have Arnold Schwarzenegger in it instead? Lock yourselves down for another interesting episode that you won't soon forget! ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★
It's time to get to your favourite month of the year with BAD MOVIE MONTH as we get into a month of bad sequels by starting with the infamous Jaws: The Revenge from 1987. Is this a movie that should have more of a cult following? Why should the makers of this film gone even more camp and silly with it to play into the premise? Is Lorraine Gary underrated as an actress? What do we think of Michael Caine in this movie? Do we believe Sharks roar? Why is the kid the worst in this movie? What scenes just don't make sense in this movie? Why does the shark explode? And is this movie better than The Meg? It's an interesting and fun one so get to listening! ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★

BAD MOVIE MONTH is here for another week as we talk about that 80s movie that saw a duck try to sleep with Marty McFly's mother, Howard The Duck. And honestly, there's nothing more you need to know. Because that's all the movie is about. So listen to this episode, don't watch the movie, and a kitten will be saved. You're welcome. ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★
It's another BAD MOVIE MONTH recap coming your way today as we go back to 1995 and watch a movie that we somehow feel isn't suitable for Colin to watch, the now cult classic Showgirls! Is this another movie that is seemingly so bad it's good? Or is it another movie that is so bad it's bad? What do Ben & Colin disagree on it so much? Why do the nudity and sex in this film just get tiring so quickly? Is this the worst acted movie we've ever seen? Is this the most misunderstood movie we've ever seen? Are there way too many good actors in this movie that are wasted? What do we think about the look and feel of this movie? Do we want to see the sequel to this movie? And is this movie ahead of it's time more than it gets credit for? It certainly is an interesting episode that we know you'll want to hear so click away and listen away! ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★
It's that time of year again where we get to bring you a month of movies that are considered the worst in our annual BAD MOVIE MONTH! And we're here to kick it off with the 2011 stinker that many say cost Adam Sandler any chance of being nominated for any Oscar, Jack and Jill! Why is this movie a thing? How on earth did this movie make money? Why did Ben & Colin remotely like this movie when they saw it? How on earth did so many big name celebrities agree to do this? How badly dated is this movie? How racist is this movie? And is one hour too long for us to do a recap of this movie? Yeah. We're sorry you have to go through this too. Just get it over and done with okay? Cool. ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★

Just as you were getting excited each week for BAD MOVIE MONTH, it's time to draw it to a close. Boo! But what a movie to close it out on as we go back to the year 2001 and recap the Mariah Carey stinker that is Glitter. Is this movie really as bad as people say? Is Mariah Carey really as bad as people say? Why does this movie remind us of Gigli? What is with the weird editing? Did the filmmakers forget this movie was set in the 1980s? What do we think of Dice? How is the soundtrack to this movie? What drama is created in this movie that just feels odd? Should we all keep away from Eric Benet? And has this movie aged better than expected? It's a perfect way to end a month of movies that we love doing so get to it and enjoy! ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★

Another week of BAD MOVIE MONTH for 2022 is here as we now bring you a recap of a movie that perhaps is the best of the bunch of the entire month, the 2008 Mike Myers flop The Love Guru. Is this another movie to expect Ben & Colin not agreeing? Does Mike Myers only have one joke? What is the rule of three and have we broken it many times before? Are the cameos great or are they on the nose? Why is this movie slightly progressive? Why doesn't Colin like this movie more for the Leafs actually being good? Is the most unbelievable thing in this movie the Leafs winning a game 7? What do we think of Justin Timberlake? Why do we want to watch the Celine Dion biopic? And is the music the best thing about this movie? It's an interesting one that we're sure you'll be interested by so get into it and listen in! ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★

It's an annual tradition that hasn't been done in two years but we are back for BAD MOVIE MONTH once again to get you in the mood for some movies that are hated for either the right or wrong reasons! We kick off 2022 BAD MOVIE MONTH with the the 2013 movie that somehow got the big stars but maybe not the big reception it was hoping, Movie 43! Can we keep up our commitment to do each of these recaps in 60 minutes or less? Is this movie really THAT bad? Would this movie been more well received if it was released ten years earlier? Which segments go on for a bit too long and would've worked if they were shorter? Why did Ben & Colin watch different version of this movie? How are there so many big names in this movie and why do they all seem like they are having fun? Can we make Seann William Scott at thing again? And are we missing out on not seeing the deleted skits? It's an interesting one that we're sure you'll be interested in so get to listening to it now! ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★

Get ready for perhaps the best movie ever to do in BAD MOVIE MONTH as we get to do another Arnie film in the 1997 movie that basically killed Batman for nearly a decade, Batman & Robin. Why do Ben & Colin actually really love this movie? Why should people appreciate this movie more? How great is Uma Thurman? How great is Arnold Schwarzenegger? How crap is George Clooney? How crap is Chris O'Donnell? How crap is Alicia Silverstone? Does this movie belong in another decade instead of the 90s? Who is the hockey team from hell? Why do the shoes Batman & Robin wear have skates in them? What is the deal with Gotham City being so weirdly set out? Are we glad that Alfred has such an expanded role this time around? Is it way too obvious that Batman & Robin are in a relationship? What is the deal with the telescope? How would we rate all the Batman movies together? And just what crazy thing will the boys do at the end of this movie that will leave you questioning their thought process? Somehow we've managed to do BAD MOVIE MONTH a couple of times now without doing arguably one of the worst movies of all time...UNTIL NOW! Yes, finally it's time to look at that certain little movie that just screams BAD MOVIE in the 2003 flop Gigli. Is this movie really as bad as the reputation it has? What on earth happens in this movie? How did they manage to get so many good actors for this? What is the point of Christopher Walken and Al Pacino being involved? Is there a good movie in here somewhere? Why does the dialogue take so damn long to get through? What is turkey time? Why does Jennifer Lopez have to be a lesbian? Can the studio be blamed for how this turned out? And should we go and check on Martin Brest to see if he's okay? You've been waiting for this so get into it and be prepared!★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★
Colin is about to get angry during BAD MOVIE MONTH as he has to watch his beloved Halle Berry once more in the 2004 train wreck movie that is Catwoman. Just what on earth is this movie? How on earth did it get made? Why on earth are we subjecting ourselves to talking about it and making you listen to it? Actually, in all seriousness, don't listen. Just don't. Nobody should have to be subjected to anything related to this movie. So we're giving you a free pass not to listen. Because it's bad. Really bad. Even when you want to be good, it's bad. Because it's bad. So...yeah....just....wait for our next episode okay?★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★
Well, it's that time of year to get the crap out of the bottom of the barrel and bring you one of our favourite months of the year as it's BAD MOVIE MONTH TIME! Yay! And what better way to start than by watching a movie from a massive pop star who thought they were going to make it big in Hollywood in the 2002 movie Crossroads starring a certain Miss Britney Spears! Just why is this movie so forgettable that it isn't really bad, it's just...there? Can Britney act, or does she sound like she's just constantly yawning all the time? Who are the other people in this movie and how on earth does Zoe Saldana come across as a bad actor? Why are there so many different plotlines in this movie that just come and go and make no sense? Is this another poorly disguised vanity project movie? Why is there so much singing for a musical that isn't a musical? And why is Britney's character the worst in stealing all the dreams of all her friends? It's a great way to start off a great month so get to listening and enjoying!★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★
It's time to (finally) close out bad movie month as we look at the film that prevented Colin Trevorrow from directing a Star Wars film with the interesting and slightly odd 2017 film The Book Of Henry. Just what the hell happened with this film about half way through? Just what the hell happened with this film in general? Are we shocked that Silver Silverman can act well in a dramatic role? Why does Naomi Watts actually not do well in this movie? Is Henry actually a real pain? Do we even remember his name? Why is everything just assumed in this film without anything being proved? Can Dean Norris ever play a different character? Seriously, why is Henry just a real pain? Should we be concerned with Maddie Ziegler in all those Sia film clips because of her dancing? Why is it dangerous to be glum, turning off a light and doing an interpretive dance? How is there nothing subtle in this movie at all? And is this the worst film we've covered in the last month? It's an odd one that will make you think if it was a good or bad thing that Colin Trevorrow never got to do Star Wars and one we think you need to listen to now!★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★
It's the beginning of BAD MOVIE month here on the Oz Network, and we're kicking it off with the 2016 bomb Gods of Egypt. How did the once acclaimed Director of The Crow and Dark City wind up making this disaster? Why in a movie with a constant sand storm is nobody ever dirty? Is Gerard Butler more of a hero than villain? Why do CGI crowds just wander around aimlessly? Was it necessary to make the God of Wisdom goofy comic relief? Why does Rossi want a political version of this movie? Was Colin really possessed to cover this in a podcast just to prove his wife wrong? And can we make any sense out of a movie with glowing eyeballs, Gods transforming into Transformers, Geoffrey Rush battling a giant space worm on a space station, Chadwick Boseman serenading a head of lettuce, and (again) a never ending sand storm that nobody gets dirty from? If you can't strike a 3 legged elephant but can successfully click a download link then listen to the opening episode of our Bad Movie Month that has all the Gods, Humans and space worms raving.★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★

For Lauren’s pick for Bad Movie Month, she tries to outdo Greg’s love for Bad Movies with 2011’s Haywire. As we try to make sense out of this half-baked movie, we discuss the pros and cons of casting an MMA fighter to act in a movie, overly convoluted and poorly executed revenge plans, and how no matter how many big-name actors you throw into a movie, it can’t make up for a plot and story that is so full of holes that makes it nearly unwatchable. Diana and Andrew talk the horrors of Catwoman with guest Elena Lowe (Writer, Podcaster). This week's episode breaks down the disappointing lack of puns, when to CGI and when not to CGI and asks why Catwoman doesn't have a cat.
