This week we learn cape tricks to fight the Worldkillers, we go on road trip with Citizen Cold, we see the return of Wild Dog, and lastly we prepare for a nuclear fallout (what how were we suppose to know alien invasion was an option). We also talk a little bit more about Infinity war during Agents of Shield and everything else happening on your television screen. Enjoy!
Watch "Fury Rogue" as Flash tries to move the radioactive meta, Fallout to a place that's safe from the Thinker. In order to keep Fallout from harming others, they will need to keep him cool. And who better to cool things down than Citizen Cold. Plus, it may keep Barry's mind off his failure to protect Ralph. They travel to Earth-X to enlist Leo Snart, but in doing so, let the Nazi villain Siren-X through the breach. She is determined to get revenge for her fallen comrades, even if she has to do it in on our Earth. When she learns about Neil Borman's radioactive power, she tries to get him before Devoe does. She succeeds too, much to the dismay of a very frustrated Devoe. Someone else that's frustrated is Marlize, who isn't getting much romantic attention from her husband these days. All he can think about is the Enlightenment. Barry's mind isn't focused either and it will take a little therapy from his friend Snart to convince him that he has to face his feelings. Jay and Josh try to deal with their feelings on this week's episode of Scarlet Velocity: A Flash Podcast!

Katrina Law is returning to “Arrow” for a single episode later this year. Executive producers Wendy Mericle and Marc Guggenheim said. “In an unforgettable episode that will change ‘Arrow' forever, Katrina Law returns as the Daughter of the Demon, Nyssa Al Ghul. Nyssa comes to Star City to warn of an impending danger that will threaten everything we know and love.” http://variety.com/2018/tv/news/arrow-katrina-law-nyssa-al-ghul-1202675995/ TV Ratings: 'Supernatural' Delivers on Thursday Night, 'Arrow' Falls (Date: 26 Jan 2018) At 9 o'clock Arrow on The CW struggled once again. With 1.39 million viewers, the show slipped to a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demo, matching its non-Thanksgiving series low. Part of what caused the struggle for Arrow is the crowded Thursday night block across every network. ABC's Scandal (5.2 mil/1.3). NBC has its all-star night of comedy. Will & Grace (2.56 mil) and Great News (2.19 mil). [Michelle's Notes: Project Runway All Stars is at 9PM] http://comicbook.com/dc/2018/01/26/tv-ratings-arrow-supernatural-thursday-night/ CW Won't Air More Than 4 Superhero Shows At One Time (Date: 24 Jan 2018) The CW has taken its own steps in hopes of staving off audience exhaustion: limiting the number of superhero dramas that air at one time to four. The CW has The Flash, Supergirl, DC's Legends of Tomorrow and, just this month, Black Lighting. However, the Arrowverse programming block hasn't been bulletproof in the ratings, which have dipped 7.5 percent this season (although numbers are said to be flat with last season when streaming and DVR audiences are taken into account). That said, however, he doesn't foresee the current demand for superheroes coming to an end soon. “The audience will tell you when the fatigue has set in,” Pedowitz said. “If you have a quality show or a fun show, the audience will stay with it.” https://www.cbr.com/cw-tv-4-superhero-shows/ 'Riverdale,' 'The Flash,' and 'Arrow' Take a Week Off in Mid-February (Date: 26 Jan 2018) The same week Supergirl begins a hiatus to make way for the return of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, numerous other comic book shows on The CW are taking a break. The Flash, Riverdale, and Arrow will all be taking a week off starting the week of February 12th, leaving Legends of Tomorrow and Black Lightning to pick up a fair amount of slack (along with the season finale of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend). There is no official word when the shows will return, although it seems likely that they will return either the next week or following a short hiatus. Breaks of one to three weeks are common for each of the three shows, either to accommodate scheduling on The CW or to get ahead on post-production. http://comicbook.com/dc/2018/01/26/riverdale-the-flash-and-arrow-take-a-week-off-in-mid-february/ GENERAL DC NEWS: Legends of Tomorrow adds Keiynan Lonsdale as series regular (Date: 19 Jan 2018) Welcome to the Waverider, Kid Flash! Following the departure of Franz Drameh and Victor Garber, Keiynan Lonsdale has joined the cast of DC's Legends of Tomorrow as a series regular, EW has learned. Executive producer Phil Klemmer said in a statement, “We loved working with Keiynan in our series premiere — the episode in which we learned that in between seasons 2 and 3 he had been fighting crime in Central City with Nick Zano's Nate Heywood. So when his character stepped away from Flash to go on walkabout, after being dumped and feeling somewhat estranged from his family and team, we knew that Wally West would fit in perfectly on Legends. After all, our show is about a collection of unlikely heroes who all began their journeys questioning who they are and where they belong — only to find those answers while traveling through time and having wacky adventures. So now, Wally West is not only back in the company of old friends from the Arrowverse, he's fighting alongside a former enemy and career arsonist Mick Rory/Dom Purcell. By the end of this season, Wally will learn that the Legends have a different definition of what it means to be a hero.” http://ew.com/tv/2018/01/19/legends-of-tomorrow-adds-keiynan-lonsdale-as-series-regular/ The Flash: Elongated Man's Super Costume Revealed in New Photo (Date: 17 Jan 2018) In the photo, Dibney sports a burgundy jacket with white accents. The jacket has a gauge on the left shoulder, not unlike the one worn by Firestorm. He also wears a pair of goggles, with black eye makeup underneath to obscure his face so that he won't be easily recognizable. The costume is likely of Cisco's design, since it will have to stretch and conform to Dibney's metahuman abilities. https://www.cbr.com/the-flash-elongated-man-costume-2/ Arrow Cast and Crew Interviews: Legends of Tomorrow: Constantine Boards the Waverider in New Photos (Date: 24 Jan 2018) DC's Legends of Tomorrow welcomes Constantine aboard the Waverider in several new photos from “Daddy Darhkest,” the upcoming midseason premiere of Season 3. The photos show the temporary recruit interacting with several members of the team, including Citizen Cold. Constantine star Matt Ryan will reprise the role as the fan-favorite magician and con man for a two-episode arc. https://www.cbr.com/legends-of-tomorrow-constantine-photos/ Stephen Amell Starts his 4th Annual F* Cancer Campaign (Date: xx month year) It went live this week building off of the Sinceriously” campaign of prior years on represent.com https://represent.com/stephenamell NEXT EPISODE Link to Promo: (Date: 25 Jan 2018) https://www.comicbookmovie.com/tv/dc/arrow/arrow-tensions-run-high-in-the-new-promo-for-season-6-episode-12-all-for-nothing-a157338 Episode: “All for Nothing” [Season 6 Episode 12] Air Date: Thursday, February 1, 2018 Summary: Oliver continues to battle Cayden James; when Dinah and Oliver have a major disagreement, one of their own is put in danger. Hey you! Yeah, you! Have you RSVP’d yet? I hear Barry and Iris’s wedding is literally to die for! It will be the event of the year, and believe me, you do not want to miss it! Synopsis Oliver, Sara, Stein, Jax and Alex have been imprisoned on Earth-X and appear to be waiting for their execution. Luckily, another prisoner has an escape and while our heroes are being lead to their slaughter, Citizen Cold has other plans. He rescues our heroes and his partner from Lance’s evil gestapo and bring them back to their Earth-X base. Back at the base, we meet General Winn Shott who informs our heroes he is about to destroy their only way home. He can save his earth if he imprisons the Fuehrer (Oliver) on Earth-1. Alex negotiates with the General and convinces him to give them one hour before blowing their only way home. Oliver suggests that he impersonate the Fuehrer to infiltrate the base and secure the gateway. Just as our team has gained entry, they learn Winn has decided to take advantage of their opportunity and send Red Tornado to destroy the gate. Barry and Ray work to stop him while the rest of the team secure the gateway. Jax and Stein split-up to work more efficiently, but Stein is shot in the process. As he lies on the floor dying, he realizes he is their only hope and makes one final attempt to activate the gateway. He’s shot again, this time fatally. Back on Earth-1, Cisco, Harry, Caitlin, Wild Dog, Mr. Terrific, Black Canary and Mick have been imprisoned in the pipeline. Eobard Thawne, once again looking like Harrison Wells, has captured Supergirl and is weakening her with red sunlight so he can perform open heart surgery. Iris and Felicity are hiding in the vents and come-up with a plan to rescue the team and call for back-up. Felicity cuts the power and they rescue Supergirl, but before they can escape, they are stopped by Metallo. Eobard forces Felicity to turn on the power and he prepares to harvest Kara’s heart while she is still alive. Eobard prepares to cut into Kara once more, but his blade meets some resistance. Ray embiggens, taking Thawne out momentarily and saving Kara. The rest of the Legends storm Star Labs and rescue their imprisoned friends. Jax and Stein merge so he can be transported to the Waverider. Gideon stabilizes him, but both he and Jax are still dying. As long as their DNA is intertwined, they will both die within a matter of hours. Stein pleads with Jax, requesting the serum so he can separate from Jax, killing both himself and Firestorm, so that Jax may live his life. As our team grieves, they learn Overgirl is going to Supernova at any moment and they must stop her. Nazis storm Central City and our heroes join forces to stop the Earth-X threat once and for all. Everyone gets their moment in the sun as this epic montage of fight scenes showcases all our heros. As Supergirl battles with Overgirl, she hits her critical mass and is about to supernova. Supergirl flies her just above the Earth’s atmosphere and she explodes, sending Supergirl plumetting back to Earth. Citizen Steel catches her before she hits the ground. Meanwhile, Oliver ends the Fuehrer’s life once and for all. To end the episode, everyone attends Stein’s funeral. After he is buried, Barry and Iris ask Diggle to marry them and while he is performing the ceremony, Oliver and Felicity realize they truly want to marry each other. The event ends on a high note with a double wedding, despite the double funeral (Stein and Firestorm) they all just attended. Speaking to CBR and other reporters during a visit to the show's Vancouver set, Amell explained how he convinced Warner Bros. to let him use Batman's real name and what it could mean for the Arrowverse at large. “The original version of that script, which came out right before Comic-Con, it was just Oliver referencing a famous name,” he revealed. “I can't remember what the placeholder was. I think it might have been Justin Bieber. I looked at it, and I thought to myself, ‘This is a cool opportunity.' I talked with Greg Berlanti about it, and Greg said, ‘You know, I think that it would behoove you to just go directly to Geoff Johns and just simply ask. You'll probably have better luck than I would.'” https://www.cbr.com/arrow-stephen-amell-bruce-wayne-namedrop-story/ GENERAL DC NEWS Legends of Tomorrow's Heatwave Teases Dynamic with Citizen Cold (Date: 10 Nov 2017) Wentworth Miller is returning to the Arrowverse, but not as Captain Cold. Miller will play Citizen Cold, Leonard Snart's doppelganger from another world — but what does that mean for Captain Cold's longtime partner Heatwave? Speaking to CBR and other reporters, Legends of Tomorrow star Dominic Purcell teased how Heatwave will react to meeting the “new” Snart. Asked what brings the two characters together, Purcell joked, “Oh, well, the writers brought them together.” On a more serious note, he said, “What I can elaborate on is that the relationship between Heatwave and Captain Cold — or not Captain Cold… Citizen [Cold]. It's changed. The audience will really see a difference in his character, and also how Rory reacts to this new… you know, Captain Cold, if you will. So it was interesting. We're dealing with some really topical stuff.” https://www.cbr.com/legends-of-tomorrows-heatwave-citizen-cold-dynamic/ Laurie Metcalf Joins SupergirlIn Key Role (Date: 09 Nov 2017) Laurie Metcalf will join Season 3 of Supergirlas Winn Schott's (Jeremy Jordan) estranged mothers. Supergirl fans were already introduced to Winn's father, Winslow Schott Sr. (Henry Czerny), back in Season 1. Winslow proved to be quite the opposite of Winn, as he ended up revealing himself to be the Toymaker, a villain who committed atrocious acts with weapons concealed in toys. There's no telling if Metcalf's character will share the same homicidal tendencies as Winslow. Metcalf's reason for taking the role is actually pretty endearing – she wants to make sure her daughter can meet her idol, Melissa Benoist, the series' star. https://www.cbr.com/laurie-metcalf-supergirl-winns-mom/ ‘Supergirl,' ‘Arrow' Producer Suspended Amid Sexual Harassment Allegations by Warner Bros. (Date: 10 Nov 2017) Warner Bros. TV Group has launched an investigation into allegations of inappropriate behavior by Andrew Kreisberg, an executive producer on the CW shows “Arrow,” “Supergirl,” “The Flash” and “DC's Legends of Tomorrow,” Varietyhas learned. Kreisberg, who has been suspended by the studio, has engaged in a pattern of alleged sexual harassment and inappropriate physical contact over a period of years, according to 15 women and four men who have worked with him. None of the 19 sources for this story wanted to be named for fear of All the men and women who spoke to Variety describe similar incidents of inappropriate touching and endemic sexual harassment; they often told the same stories and corroborated each other's accounts. According to sources who either witnessed this behavior or were subjected to it, Kreisberg is accused of frequently touching people without their permission, asking for massages from uncomfortable female staff members, and kissing women without asking. Almost every source cites a constant stream of sexualized comments about women's appearances, their clothes, and their perceived desirability. According to many interviewed by Variety, Kreisberg's problematic behavior, particularly around women, got worse once he had a great deal of authority as an executive producer on several shows. http://variety.com/2017/tv/news/warner-bros-sexual-harassment-andrew-kreisberg-1202612522/ ARROW CAST AND CREW INTERVIEWS Arrow's Juliana Harkavy Reacts to That Major Vigilante Twist (Date: 10 Nov 2017) Arrowhas finally unmasked In “Deathstroke Returns,” the latest episode of Arrow, Dinah Drake's Black Canary discovered — to her horror — that her ex-partner/lover Victor Sobel had been the Vigilante all along. Speaking to CBR and other outlets, Black Canary actor Juliana Harkavy discussed the twist, what it means for her character, the impact it could have on the team moving forward and more. “Well, it's definitely been a little bit of a glitch in her path, because now — in a sense — not only is she dealing with her past but she also has her own little secret that she has to decide whether she's going to keep from the team, so it definitely throws a wrench in her life and game plan,” she explained. https://www.cbr.c NEXT EPISODE Link to Promo: (Date: 10 Nov 2017) LINK https://www.cbr.com/arrow-trailer-promises-kept-deathstroke/ Episode: “Promises Kept” [Season 6 Episode 6] Air Date: Thursday, November 16, 2017 Summary: As Slade continues to uncover clues about his son's last few years, Oliver makes a big decision.
