Who says you must only read leadership books for professional development?! In the spirit of Halloween, Kevin and Michael Lang, US Army combat veteran and author, analyze Stephen King’s groundbreaking book, Salem’s Lot, the story how the forces of good combat a town under siege by forces of darkness. They break down the plot of the story, examine key characters, analyze events, and discuss the different methods of writing and storytelling. In this third episode, Kevin and Mike dive deep into key scenes and take-aways: The finale of the Kitchen scene, where Mark and Father Callahan are confronted by Mr. Barlow. Scene analysis: the story of how Eva Miller is turned. Mike connects a quote from the Ancient Greek general, Hermocrates of Syracuse, to Mr. Barlow’s actions. The contradiction of Occam’s Razor principle in the book. The art of story-telling: differences in character versus plot driven books. Final thoughts on honing the craft of writing.

Jeremy Greer joins me to observe the birth of Mordred Deschain, and the deaths of Mother Mia and Father Callahan. This section of the book feels like the proper end to Song of Susannah, as our diminished ka-tet risks everything to reunite back in All-World.
Dr. Crowe and Father Callahan are summoned to the house of Tommy and Angela to investigate a haunting. The duo discover it's the work of a revenant spirit, but can they save the homeowners before the spirit can have it's revenge.
Mr. Hooper’s wife is possessed by an evil demon called SAB. Father Callahan has tried everything, but is unable to exorcise the demon from the poor woman’s body. With nowhere left to turn the priest calls in freelance exorcist and demonolgist Dr. Silius Crow and his apprentice as a final effort to save the woman’s soul.
Welcome Home. Autumn Greer joins me to talk about a section of the book that focuses very heavily on Father Callahan, and his journey from 'Salem's Lot, across America's hidden todash highways, and finally to End-World. But we must also make a stop at Calla Bryn Sturgis to talk about Roland's weird rice cum dance. It's an eventful episode.
Let's go back to the vacant lot, because the Rose is in danger. Zack Johnson joins me once again to talk about the remainder of the Todash portion of the book. Our ka-tet begins to understand the nature of their nocturnal travels, while Father Callahan makes his introductions. Roland and company learn more specifics about the Wolves, and decide that it's their duty to protect this town, even if they don't want protection.
