On this week's episode I'm telling Russ the insane case of Girly Chew Hossencofft. Girly Chew was originally from Malaysia but she moved to the US to be with the man she loved. He was a doctor and promised her a great life. Well little did Girly know this man was a complete psychopath and she was caught in his web of lies. This case will make you go "HUH?? is this real life??" so many times. It's one of the most bizarre cases we've ever covered! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Twenty three years ago today, 36 year old Girly Chew Hossencofft was murdered by her estranged husband, Diazien Hossencofft, and his girlfriend, Linda Henning. Girly Chew met Diazien during one of several trips to the United States from her home country of Malaysia in the early 1990s. After immigrating to marry and start a new life with Hossencofft, Girly's life in America wasn't what she had anticipated. Her new husband was manipulative and paranoid, and subscribed to some pretty unusual conspiracy theories involving UFOs and Reptilian royalty. To make matters worse, it soon became clear that Diazien wasn't who he claimed to be. After a tense breakup, Diazien focused his paranoia on his ex, ultimately resulting in her murder. The body of Girly Chew has never been found, leaving her homicide case with a lot of loose ends.
