Le parfum, ça sert à quoi ? C'est vrai que ça peut paraître un peu évident dit comme ça, mais même aujourd'hui, ça l'est pas forcément, et il y a des usages qu'on ne soupçonne même pas… Alors quand on parle des parfums au 16e siècle, c'est encore plus le cas ! Par qui étaient-ils réalisés ? Comment ? Pourquoi ? Bref, une mise au parfum s'impose ! Et pour ça, j'ai eu le plaisir de recevoir Océane Fontaine Cioffi, une historienne spécialiste de ce sujet ! Elle est actuellement doctorante à l'Université de Tours, rattachée au Centre d'Études Supérieures de la Renaissance, et a également pu travailler sur la réalisation d'expositions en lien avec son sujet de recherches. Mais ce n'est pas tout, parce qu'Océane a aussi eu l'occasion de mettre les mains dans le cambouis, ou plutôt dans le parfum, en expérimentant les recettes de l'époque… Mais on en reparlera un peu plus tard, alors ne tardons pas plus ! Paris n'est plus le roi incontesté de l'immobilier de prestige. Le marché français du luxe se déplace, porté par l'Ouest, les littoraux et de nouveaux usages patrimoniaux. Une bascule qui dit beaucoup de la façon dont les Français les plus aisés arbitrent désormais entre placement, cadre de vie et transmission.Thomas Lefebvre est l'invité de ce nouvel épisode de Mon Podcast Immo. Au micro d'Ariane Artinian, le vice-président data de Belles Demeures décrypte dix ans de transformations : la fin de l'argent gratuit, la nouvelle géographie résidentielle et la concentration du patrimoine. Le marché du prestige pèse aujourd'hui 39 milliards d'euros, contre 24 milliards en 2015. Il représente 17% de la valeur du marché immobilier français, pour seulement 40 000 transactions.Le signal est fort : « Paris n'est plus le premier marché de prestige français en valeur ». Paris et l'Ouest parisien ont perdu 10 points de part de marché en dix ans, quand la Côte atlantique en gagnait 5. La Bretagne, elle, a doublé, passant de 2% à 4%. Les acheteurs restent très majoritairement français, à 80 ou 90%, souvent âgés de plus de 45 ans. Et la présidentielle de 2027 pèse déjà dans les décisions : un tiers des porteurs de projets pourraient regarder hors de France selon l'issue du scrutin. C'est une enquête publiée par Le Monde Afrique. « Entre le Luxembourg et Dubaï, les millions cachés de Fabrice Andjoua, fils de l'ancien président gabonais ». Il s'agit d'un volet du projet Openlux sur les fonds étrangers qui convergent vers le Grand Duché du Luxembourg, petit État européen par la taille mais grand par les fortunes qu'il accueille.   Le Monde raconte comment Fabrice Andjoua Bongo Ondimba a perpétué une tradition familiale : le goût des voitures de luxe. Pour nourrir cette passion, il a créé au Luxembourg une société immobilière.  L'enquête dévoile aussi comment en août 2023, Fabrice Andjoua s'est fait livrer à Libreville par conteneur une Brabus 900 Rocket, une voiture à 400 000 euros construite à seulement 25 exemplaires. Passion pour les voitures, mais aussi pour les maisons et appartements. Fabrice Andjoua nous dit le journal, a aussi énormément investi à Dubaï.   Au Luxembourg, il est aujourd'hui sous le coup d'une enquête pour blanchiment et fraude fiscale aggravée.   Au Soudan du Sud : des richesses qui ne profitent pas à la population  Dans quelques jours, le Soudan du Sud célébrera ses 15 ans d'existence, c'était le 9 juillet 2011. Mais nous dit Afrik.com, les résultats n'y sont pas. « Depuis des années, les signaux d'alarme s'accumulent autour de la gestion des revenus pétroliers. Des revenus censés nourrir un peuple en crise humanitaire sévère mais qui disparaissent dans des circuits liés à une poignée de hauts responsables et leurs intermédiaires ».    Selon Afrik.com, la manne pétrolière s'élève pour les 15 dernières années à 70 milliards de dollars. Le Soudan du Sud reste ainsi classé au dernier rang mondial de l'Indice de développement humain. Alors Afrik.com pose la question : pourquoi tant de combats, tant de morts, tant d'espoirs, pour voir une nouvelle élite reproduire les mécanismes de prédation contre lesquels le pays disait s'être libéré ? La désinformation et les deepfakes, des tueurs silencieux dans la guerre numérique au Soudan   C'est le titre de cet article à découvrir dans le Sudan Tribune à Khartoum. Que ce soit l'armée ou les paramilitaires, nous dit le journal, les deux camps belligérants utilisent la désinformation. Le journal nous raconte l'histoire tragique mais loin d'être isolée de Musab al-Sayyid, un habitant du sud de Khartoum. À la lecture d'une publication non vérifiée sur les réseaux sociaux, publication qui annonçait une invasion imminente, des bombardements d'artillerie lourde et la destruction totale de son quartier en quelques heures, Musab a pris peur. Il a rassemblé quelques affaires et s'est enfui avec sa mère en direction de l'État d'Al-Jazirah. Durant le voyage, ils seront dépouillés de leur argent, de leurs téléphones et de la trousse de premiers soins de la mère de Musab. Épuisés et sans abri, ils arriveront à destination mais la mère de Musab mourra de son diabète. La rapidité du partage numérique a transformé les médias en ligne en un champ de bataille majeur, conclut le journal.  Coupe du monde 2026 : les équipes africaines ne comptent pas pour du beurre Une note d'espoir nous vient du Pays au Burkina Faso. The capture of American nurses in the Philippines is often described as an “untold story” of WWII; Dr. Elizabeth Norman set out to change that. She conducted extensive interviews with 20 of the 77 nurses who were captured. Norman collected the nurses' firsthand accounts, and pored over their diaries and letters, weaving these sources together in her book, We Band of Angels: The Untold Story of the American Women Trapped on Bataan.
