Give online therapy a try at betterhelp.com/beherenow and get on your way to being your best self. In this 2019 recording from the Ram Dass Open Your Heart in Paradise Retreat, Krishna Das is joined onstage with his band for a Hanuman Chalisa workshop. Harkening the Hanuman Chalisa as “a long invocation to awaken our hearts and to move us deeper into ourselves, into that love,” Krishna Das describes this particular mantra as a practice that connects us to Hanuman's flow of grace. Chanting the Chalisa helps to remove obstacles from our path while fulfilling our purest desires. With these intentions set, Krishna Das and friends lead a cascading waterfall of some of their most potent and recognizable Hanuman Chalisa melodies. Communing together as we listen to this episode, we're able to sense our universal connection and tap into that love that Krishna Das speaks of.Interested in joining us in Maui for the 2025 Ram Dass Open Your Heart In Paradise Retreat? Click HERE to learn more.About Krishna Das:Layering traditional Hindu kirtan with instantly accessible melodies and modern instrumentation, Grammy nominee Krishna Das has been called yoga's “rock star.” With a remarkably soulful voice that touches the deepest chord in even the most casual listener, Krishna Das – known to friends, family, and fans as simply KD – has taken the call-and-response chanting out of yoga centers and into concert halls, becoming a worldwide icon and the best-selling chant artist of all time. His album ‘Live Ananda' (released January 2012) was nominated for a Grammy in the Best New Age album category.KD spent the late '60s traveling across the country as a student of Ram Dass, and in August 1970, he finally made the journey to India, which led him to Ram Dass' own beloved guru, Neem Karoli Baba, known to most as Maharaj-ji. Krishna Das now travels the world sharing his kirtan practice and wonderful stories of his life, of Maharaji-ji, of his life on the Path and discusses bringing chanting into our lives through retreats and workshops. To date, KD has released 15 well-received albums, most recently Trust in the Heart released in October 2017.For more wisdom and worship from Krishna Das, be sure to check out his podcast Pilgrim Heart on the Be Here Now Network.MORE INFORMATION and OFFERINGS VISIT: https://krishnadas.com/ KRISHNA DAS ON SOCIAL: FACEBOOK: facebook.com/KrishnaDasMusic INSTAGRAM: instagram.com/krishnadasmusic YOUTUBE: / krishnadasmusic X: @krishnadas #KrishnaDas“This is a long invocation to awaken our hearts and to move us deeper into ourselves, into that love. You don't have to know what all these words mean, but you can read the translation. But what we can do, even if we don't understand the actual meaning of the words, we can understand that this practice is a practice of connecting, connecting with that flow of grace that is Hanuman. Renegade Supply Store: https://renegade-supply-shop.printify.me/products Mormon theology is full of amazing promises. Some of those promises have to do with new scripture coming forth in the last days. Now that is an exciting prospect. Like many of you I look forward to that time. However, when one says that new scripture that has come forth, we must be very careful. We must make sure that the purported new scripture harmonizes with the principles of the existing cannon of scripture and other principles that have been revealed through the Prophet Joseph Smith. Today on this episode and next week as well I have Justin Francom on to breakdown all six volumes of the Nemenhah Record. We examine the books views on Family Structure, Priesthood, Communing with Deity, Political Ideology, and the books' view on Joseph Smith, then compare what the book is saying with the already restored truths found in Scripture and from Joseph Smith.

Meilin's focus was on connecting with ancestors and nature. Ehlke emphasized the importance of embracing the tranquility of dawn and twilight to foster creativity and introspection. She also highlighted the significance of connecting with ancestors through rituals and reflection, urging listeners to visit ancestral sites for wisdom and guidance. Additionally, Ehlke suggested offering gifts to nature and ancestors as a way to express gratitude and deepen connections with the past. One key piece of advice from Ehlke is to create a soothing evening environment with soft lighting and quality teas. This can help individuals relax and deepen their connection with themselves and their surroundings. By prioritizing rest and creating a peaceful atmosphere, one can enhance their creativity and overall well-being. As Ehlke aptly puts it, "I become creative. I don't know about you, when do you become creative? But first when I'm fully rested."Another valuable tip shared in the episode is to take time for introspection and self-expression, especially during the winter season. Ehlke encourages individuals to embrace the unique energy of winter for personal growth and exploration. This season of quiet reflection can be a powerful time to delve into one's inner world and discover new aspects of creativity and inspiration.Lastly, Ehlke emphasizes the importance of gratitude and connection with both nature and ancestors. By offering gifts to the earth and honoring one's lineage, individuals can cultivate a deeper sense of appreciation and interconnectedness with the world around them. This act of giving back and showing respect to the past can create a profound sense of belonging and purpose. In conclusion, Meilin Ehlke's podcast episode on connecting with ancestors and nature offers valuable insights and practices for nurturing a deeper sense of self-awareness and connection with the world. By following these tips and embracing the wisdom shared, listeners can embark on a journey of self-discovery and spiritual growth. As Ehlke beautifully puts it, "Keep on creating your magic and keep on sharing it with all of us."Timestamped Outline(00:01:41) Embracing Dawn's Serenity: Connecting with Nature(00:09:19) Tranquil Tea Time for Inner Connection(00:11:40) Communing with Ancestors for Wisdom(00:18:22) Winter: Ancestral Wisdom for Creative Exploration ~ * ~ ~ * ~ ~ * ~ ~ * ~You are invited to bring your wisdom and powerful energy over to our Fb group where you can share it with us and others. Our Father, who art in Heaven, are these prayers worth my time? This week on the AC Podcast, we delve into the practice and privilege of communing with God through prayer. This episode is inspired by a listener's email asking: "Do our prayers affect things? Should we pray for specific outcomes? Does praying for someone's healing make a difference? If prayer influences events, what are the qualifiers? If God answers 'small' prayers, shouldn't He also answer the 'big' ones?"Join Troy, Andy, and Wes as they explore these profound questions and share their thoughts on the power and purpose of prayer.
