Extra Points with Cousin Sal, Dave Dameshek & Charlotte Wilder
Today is the day, Dave will face the Cap of Consequences “Holy Goalie” punishment; Dave says he is not nervous and Eddie says he's not here to injure Dave. Sal informs them there will be a twist, instead of pucks Eddie will be shooting Dave's favorite fruit, the delicious Envy apple. The PGA Championship first round is underway and early on Jon Daly was atop the leaderboard while he reportedly was chain-smoking, drinking Diet Cokes and eating peanut M&M's throughout the round. Speaking of drinking, the guys discuss fans thinking Luka Doncic was drinking a beer the afternoon of Game 1. The Mavericks/ Warriors Game 1 was a blow out as the Mavericks looked fatigued after a tough seven game series against Phoenix. Then the Extra Points gang previews Game 2 between the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat as Martin feels Payton Pritchard will continue to be a problem defensively for the Celtics. Plus, why isn't Jimmy Butler more celebrated- Dave feels because Jimmy Butler doesn't have a strong name.Eddie is frustrated after the Rangers lose Game 1 of their series against the Carolina Hurricanes. Martin asks the guys if it is harder to find a good goalie or a good quarterback; which gets the guys to discuss how few dominant goalies are currently in the NHL.FanDuel has odds on which quarterback will take the Steelers first snap of the season at quarterback; could it be Mason Rudolph.Alabama Head Coach Nick Saban says Texas A&M paid for all their players and Jimbo Fisher responds calling him out as the guys discuss how massive NIL deals have changed college football. Finally, the guys head outside as Dave faces Eddie firing apples at him.
Extra Points with Cousin Sal, Dave Dameshek & Charlotte Wilder
It's the morning after the Rangers big Game 7 win against the Penguins and Dave is sick physically and mentally. Eddie feels euphoric after the win but is still complaining about whinny Penguins fans and beat writers. Dave will now have to face his Cap of Consequences punishment “Holy Goalie”, Eddie will get to fire slapshots at him while Dave is dressed as a religious figure. Eddie gives his thoughts on the Rangers next series against the Carolina Hurricanes.Next, the guys recap the NBA Conference Semifinals as Martin felt Giannis looked out of gas and had no support in Game 7 against the Celtics. Plus, it was a disappointing game between the Suns and Mavericks as Chris Paul and Devin Booker were basically no-shows as Luka Doncic and the Mavericks advance. Then the Extra Points crew previews the Conference Finals as Martin believes the Warriors don't have anyone that can guard Luka and wants to see more consistency out of Klay Thompson as he and Sal both like the Mavericks. Then, Sal likes the Celtics but can't bring himself to root for the Boston fanbase. After a weekend filled with Game Sevens, the guys jump on the Make-Believe Riverboat Casino to discuss what are the greatest two words in all of sports. Martin makes the case for rivalry week and Dave is confused if postseason is one word or two. Finally, the guys recap Eddie Spaghetti's 30th Birthday party and finding out he cried three times during Pearl Jam.

Crystal Palace 1-3 Liverpool it finished at Selhurst Park and the Reds move back in sight of Premier League leaders Manchester City thanks to a Virgil van Dijk Header, a lovely finish from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and a somewhat controversial late Fabinho penalty.Good evening Reds and welcome along to the post game podcast on the Blood Red Channel with your host as ever, Patrick Smith, as we react to that crucial win in the Premier League title race. The Reds absolutely dominated their South London opponents in the opening stages, but had man of the match Alisson Becker to thank in the end after the Eagles failed to capitalise upon their numerous chances during the second half, before Kevin Friend with the help of VAR awarded Liverpool a late controversial penalty to put the match to bed.On today's edition of the post game pod we have the verdict of Paul Gorst, the Press Conferences of Jurgen Klopp and Patrick Vieira, and of course the reaction of the fans in the stands with Mike Holt, Owen Thomas and Stephen Dawson.Enjoy!

We have a New Moon in Cancer on July 9, at 9:16pm EST. This New Moon is at 18 degrees and 1 minute of nurturing Cancer, ruler of the fourth house of the Zodiac. This is a surprisingly impactful New Moon, with issues of self-care, boundaries, and power struggles -- encouraging us to set some new intentions that could be the first step in shaping the new world we are co-creating with the universe. There are some very intense configurations happening leading up to and during this lunation. Time for some defense! You might need to defend your goal, which might be extra challenging since it could be a moving target. Don't worry Cory and the Fox will break it down for you.
