Sam and Kay met in Kalispell, Montana, and have journeyed and cooked around the Pacific Northwest since. Their travels took them to Alaska and then to Portland honing their skills in savory and pastry, respectively. After working their way through numerous positions, they both landed at Irving Sreet Kitchen. Sam then jumped at the opportunity to cook at the storied Restaurant Beck, where he took charge of the kitchen in a matter of a couple of years.
