Our position in this mission is not just about vertical alignment with God but also about horizontal deployment. The Great Commission calls us to get out of our comfort zones and make disciples wherever we are. Let us pray for the courage and conviction to fulfill this mission.
Is the Wisconsin Badgers defensive line going to be good enough this season for Luke Fickell? Justin and I talk about the unit this year and why we think it needs to get a little better for the Badgers to reach their lofty goals. We do like players like James Thompson and Rodas Johnson among others, but its a spot that lacks some star power. Both of us are very high on true freshman Jamel Howard and what he can potentially bring to the team even this season? We talk about newcomer Darian Varner and what type of potential he has and if the jump in competition is going to be difficult for him. We discuss hyped redshirt-freshman Curtis Neal who might be able to bring some different juice to the position this season. Finally we talk about recruits of years past and why guys like Jeremy Patterson and Shelby Harris broke our hearts.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!LinkedInLinkedIn Jobs helps you find the qualified candidates you want to talk to, faster. Are they doing okay with inflation? Are they managing credit card debt? Do they need other services or help from us? Do they need a budget from us?” -Jeremy Patterson[13:49]“Supply and demand. Typical economics say with no supply and less demand, it doesn't matter because as long as demand is there to meet the supply, it will still go up. And that's the interesting part. It is just not pants on fire hot. It's hot. So it's resetting expectations.” - Ed Billings [13:23] “These things are all so intertwined. It's beautiful because you are leveraging an amazing asset, which is your home, to do something that sets you up for your future.” - Jefi Moultrie [20:33] “My job is not knowing mortgages. Today we invite to the show, Jeremy Patterson, an incredible guest who I met via Instagram. He reached out after having discovered the show and we have been talking back and forth ever since. Jeremy runs a website called whenisyournexttrip.com. "When is your next trip" is dedicated to Jeremy's travels and you really should go there to check out some of his photography. So, Jeremy stumbled upon the podcast while he was looking for Aruba content and was blew away by the fact that it has more than a hundred episodes. I was absolutely thrilled to know that One Happy Podcast usually accompanies him on his daily commute because that's exactly what I envisioned this podcast's purpose — to be able to listen to it while you're doing something else in your daily lives. On this episode, Jeremy and I will discuss the place he usually stays at in Aruba, his favorite activities and restaurants, and basically his experiences in Aruba. He is a fellow Pittsburgher who's been to Aruba 9 times over the past 12 years. He first came to Aruba back in 2006 by a family invitation and stayed at Divi Aruba. Everywhere he’s stayed at ever since he started going to Aruba is pretty much around the Divi property. Fishing is one of the activities that Jeremy is fond of doing on the island. Jeremy also enjoys heading over to the Renaissance Private Island, sunset cruises, relaxing and people watching. Jeremy also happens to take incredible pictures using his iPhone. The restaurants he enjoyed from his trips include ODB, Hopi Bon, Dutch Pancake House, Casa Tua, Fusion Wine and Piano Bar, Matthew’s, Ricardo’s, Lucy’s, MooMba, Bugaloe, Nos Clubhuis, and Zeerovers. ON THIS EPISODE OF ONE HAPPY PODCAST, YOU WILL: Hear about Jeremy’s thoughts about Divi Aruba Restaurants that Jeremy enjoys on the island Hear Jeremy's experience with the crying room ESTABLISHMENTS AND RESTAURANTS MENTIONED: Divi Aruba ODB (Old Dirty Bird) Hopi Bon Grill Dutch Pancake House Casa Tua Fusion Wine & Piano Bar Matthew's Beachside Restaurant Ricardo's Restaurant & Bar Lucy's Retired Surfers Bar & Restaurant MooMba Beach Bar & Restaurant Bugaloe Beach Bar & Grill Nos Clubhuis Zeerovers
