‘Experiment'California was the most beautiful state in the country until left-wing politicians took over the state and claimed it for their progressive experiment. More than 11 million Californians have fled, unable to shoulder the burden of record-breaking gas prices, homelessness, expansive welfare programs, and a failing education system. The solution? Cut taxes, clean up homelessness, cooperate with law enforcement, increase oil development, and tackle voter fraud. Californians may have a chance at returning to paradise if they show up at the polls, argues Victor Davis Hanson on today's edition of Victor Davis Hanson: In a Few Words

The Sports Guyz are back with another chaotic, hilarious, and debate-filled episode. The crew dives deep into the NBA playoffs, breaking down the Timberwolves' physical series, Anthony Edwards' growth, Rudy Gobert's defensive impact, and whether the Wolves are true contenders. They also debate Kevin Durant's legacy, NBA superteams, and the value of draft picks across the NBA and NFL. The conversation shifts into the NHL playoffs as the guys react to the Wild's struggles, playoff physicality, and whether Minnesota has the depth to survive a brutal postseason run. Along the way, the crew goes off the rails discussing streaming services ruining sports viewing, billion-dollar sports franchises, horse racing predictions from the Kentucky Derby, and even the strange reality of burnt-hotdog courtroom evidence involving Stefon Diggs. Trouble in Paradise? What's Going On With Nicki Minaj & Kenneth Petty?
Today we read through some of your questions and comments, and we start with a comment about Magnolia Lane at Augusta which Nick made last week. Whilst talking The Masters, it was exciting to see the GolfLoot prize drawn on Sunday - Geoff from Moonah Links won a trip to next years Masters with a friend!! Unbelievable !!! Heaps of other great prizes on offer at GolfLoot, including playing with, and having a lesson from, Nick O'Hern. Details here. After Mark revealed on the show last week that he does not eat fruit, not most fruits anyway, Nick and Dan were horrified and thought that nobody else would share this dislike of fruit.....turns out we were wrong. We were inundated with feedback from fellow fruit-hating wolfpackers who were backing Mark up. We read out 3 or 4 of the dozens we received. Which flows into a chat about Vegemite, American bread, Peanut Butter.....this podcast has clearly jumped the shark. So onto the golf. Wolfpacker Mark has some feedback on commentators from The Masters, Paul has a comment about a commentator he loved who was unceremoniously dumped from The Masters coverage after a couple of gags that the Men of the Masters did not appreciate.Bruiser enjoyed the 66/76/86/96/06/16 Masters analysis last week, but suggested the 79 win by Gary Player is equally worth a chat, he's not wrong, it was a ripper. Mark makes a diary note to do that in 2029. Fair chance he'll forget. But we do kick around the 7's...Roy loved the recent chat with Mike Harwood, if you haven't heard it or watched it - worth a look/listen, Mike is a gun.And we finish on some memories of one of the gentlemen of Australian golf, Alex Mercer, who turned 92 a few weeks ago. We're live from Titleist and FootJoy HQ thanks to our great partners:Hostplus, Talk Birdie To Me's official retirement partnerBMW, luxury and comfort for the 19th hole;Titleist, the #1 ball in golf;FootJoy, the #1 shoe and glove in golf;PING will help you play your best;Golf Clearance Outlet, they beat everyone's prices;Betr, the fastest and easiest betting app in Australia; And Southern Golf Club. (airdate: 4.13.26) Today in Who Cares News, the rumor mill went full billionaire soap opera with Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos divorce chatter, all sparked by one awkward public moment that the internet wildly overanalyzed. Then we pivot to the one celebrity America can still agree on, as Dolly Parton tops a new poll as the most popular public figure in the country, proving rhinestones may be the last bipartisan issue left. And if you watched the Malcolm in the Middle reboot over the weekend, we explain why Dewey looked different on that Zoom cameo, and who stepped in while the original actor stays far away from Hollywood. Easter probably called for a chat about the silent version of either The Ten Commandments or Ben-Hur, but no. I'm talking about a 1932 Ernst Lubitsch rom-com that's excellent with the rom, yet only smile-inducing with the com. Covering Trouble In Paradise also gets Miriam Hopkins, Kay Francis and Herbert Marshall on Have you Ever Seen for the first time. They're all well-served by the infamous Lubitsch Touch. Here a rich, pampered, unworthy fail-daughter (Francis) is set up to be ripped off by clever thieves (Hopkins and Marshall). But they're all likable, the romance(s) work great and you even end up rooting for all the characters, even though each of them could easily seem despicable. Lubitsch: one of the greats in this genre. So cue up Trouble In Paradise in this 730th edition of HYES, where I give you the info about some pre-Code lovin' and stealin' European shennanigans. Jot down some thoughts about classic movies and tell me about them. My email is "haveyoueverseenpodcast@gmail.com", my Twitter is "@moviefiend51" and my Bluesky is "ryan-ellis." Also, tickle that subscribe button and then take some time to write a review and rate the podcast as well. Last thing? Follow me on Letterboxd: RyanHYES.

In the Lord’s Prayer, we read “Lead us not into temptation.” Yeah, we certainly don’t want to go down that path. But haven’t you found that sometimes temptation comes up the path and finds us! Temptation is pervasive. It’s ubiquitous. Today on A NEW BEGINNING, Pastor Greg Laurie helps us dissect temptation. We’ll trace its roots all the way back to the Garden of Eden. And Pastor Greg offers some biblical insights on how to stop Satan’s attacks right in their tracks. Looking for hope or know someone who is? On this episode of After Reality, I cover everything from pop culture headlines to personal moments from my week. I get into the news about Andy Byron possibly suing Coldplay over a viral video, and I share my honest thoughts on the current season of Bachelor in Paradise—let's just say, I have some strong opinions about the direction it's headed and which contestants are standing out (for better or worse).I also reflect on the heartbreaking loss of some true legends this week: Ozzy Osbourne, Hulk Hogan, and Malcolm-Jamal Warner. Their impact on music, entertainment, and culture won't be forgotten.Plus, I give some updates on true crime cases, including Lori Vallow Daybell and Brian Kohberger. And on the personal side, I share a few family stories—like my daughter cutting her own hair, my son's dentist visit—and wrap things up with TV recommendations. Thanks for stopping by!
