The Cold Winds are rising and the dead have come to Castle Black! The Obsidian Nights Podcast is where we go thru A Song of Ice and Fire By George RR Martin (The unfinished book series that the TV Show Game of Thrones is based off of) Chapter by Chapter! Breaking down every little clue with guests from around the world. In this episode of Obsidian Nights, I am joined by Jason to throughly breakdown Bran 6 of A Game of Thrones the first book in the A Song of Ice and Fire Series. In Bran 6 there is alot of intresting tea going down. The chapter opens with The Northern Army forming in Winterfell and the Karstarks arriving. This Bran Stark chapter is packed with foreshadowing of Bran The Broken , Robb's going to War but not before being tested by the Northern Lords , Osha is warning Bran that Robb is going the wrong way , Maester Luwin is being irky and Bran spends alot of time in the godswood praying to the old gods. Rickon doesn't get it.. Lady's bones arrive at Winterfell. This is a juicy one! Thanks for Watching! It's the single Rotten season of one of the greatest TV shows ever made and left some fans as cold as a member of the Night's Watch who forgot his coat. But were critics and audiences too harsh on season 8?
In A Game of Thrones, The first book of the A Song of Ice and Fire Series we learn that Bran Stark is a boy who loves to climb and Bran Stark says he will know Winterfell in a way that Robb never will! In this episode I was joined by Joe Magician to dissect Bran 2 and look for the secrets hidden in the pages, the bread crumbs that lead to King Bran! In this Podcast we go over every nook and cranny! Why should Bran Stark be King of Westeros? It's going to make more sense in the books, my friends, because Bran's greenseer magic will be much more important in the books - not only to defeat the others, but also use the knowledge of the weirwood to pull a "Bran-the-REbuilder" act for a Westeros in dire need. Above all, Bran should be king because he is the Prometheus of this story - the one who brings the fire of the gods to mankind, and specifically to **aid**mankind. The matching text is on the LmL website, as usual, and look for a follow-up livestream in the next 2 weeks! Subscribe to the YouTube channel to make sure you don't miss it.
Thanks to everyone who sent in all the amazing questions, they made for a great session. The discussion ranged from King Bran and greenseer stuff to the idea of the weirwoods as abominations and more. There may or may not be karaoke here (you've been warned)
Better late than never, it's a live QnA I did on YouTube to follow up on King Bran 1 on September 1st, 2019. Featured is Wizz-the-Smith's legendary Hollow Hills material, which he kindly allowed us to discuss, and it's a great compliment to the ancient greenseer kings theory. Check out his full essay at the link below, and thanks to everyone who sent in questions! https://asoiaf.westeros.org/index.php?/topic/143917-the-caves-are-timeless-hollow-hills-magic-castles-and-greenseers/
The best way to understand what GRRM wants to do with King Bran is to think about it in mythical terms. Bran's will ascend to the throne as the new Summer King of Westeros, in the Oak (Summer) King / Holly (Winter) King sense. Funny thing - our story began with a summer oak king figure on the throne - King Robert - and even the "First King" of Westeros was a summer oak king figure. Bran will not only help to end the new Long Night, but to make sure the dream of spring gives birth to summer.
Yes, Bran WILL be King in the books, but he will be a greenseer king. Take a walk through everything we know about greenseers, wargs, skinchangers, and what they've done with their power in Westeros to get an idea of what "Bran the God King" really means. Featuring vocal performances by Martin Lewis.
In this panel from Con of Thrones 2019 in Nashville titled "Life After Death", the wonderful Gray Area, In Deep Geek, Fat Walda, and myself break down and discuss all the different forms of undeath in Game of Thrones and ASOIAF. And then a weird tangent for a little bit about King Bran. My apologies about the audience questions with the static, had to turn them way up to hear them at all. Finally, it's officially over. The famous, the infamous, the most popular, the biggest tv series, ever. And still, they gave us something big, something that we'll never thought of. Well, at least not so many peeps ever think that Brandon Stark would be the King of the Seven (Six) Kingdoms. Di NGADEM episode kali ini, @dikoputranto dan @mezzaallegro ngebahas komplit soal ending dari series favorit banyak orang ini. Dari mulai first impression pas nonton pertama kali, pembahasan in-depth soal beberapa scene penting, sampai jokes-jokes sampah andalan kami berdua. DISCLAIMER: Saking sampahnya dan too much referencing about nudity and porn, mungkin buat yang sedang beribadah puasa, mesti nahan diri dulu buat dengerin pas sudah waktunya berbuka. Kami (tidak) minta maaf untuk rombengnya mulut kami berdua, dan kami (tidak) berjanji untuk tidak mengulanginya lagi. We warned you, btw. So, this is it, enjoy while it lasts. And don't forget to bend your knees to our new King! Long live the King! "All hail Bran the Broken, First of His Name, King of the Andals and the First Men, Lord of the Six Kingdoms, and Protector of the Realm.." - Tyrion Lannister

Game of Thrones is over, and our watch has ended – but did they stick the landing? The Radio Times team take a look back at epic series finale The Iron Throne, from the tragic death of Daenerys and the rise of King Bran to Tyrion’s fate on the Small Council, and all the moments in between. We’ll also be answering questions like: Why did Drogon melt the Iron Throne? What was Brienne writing in that book? Where is Arya travelling to? Where did Jon Snow go with the wildlings? What will happen in the spin-offs? Who WAS Azor Ahai? And much, much more.
How does this series finale rank among some of the best and worst finales of all time? How is King Bran the Broken (We do not feel good about that nickname) getting around Kings Landing? Just a few of the very serious and important Game of Thrones takes from Carlie and Lucas on this week's episode. This the last we'll talk this much about GoT, so either savor it, or get excited about our return to regular content next week.
In the SERIES FINALE of #GameOfThrones we recap the last episode of our favorite show. We breakdown everything that happened in the episode, the fates of #JonSnow, #Daeneryus #Sansa #BRAN and #Drogon. We pivot to discuss, the audience reaction to the show and debate whether the talk around the show was toxic or just some healthy internet fun.
