Sitting on 20 acres of a former Tennessee plantation is Frightmare Manor. The haunt's story centers on Jeremiah Lexer, the former plantation owner who was secretly a serial killer, the shocking 1902 axe murders that exposed his crimes, and a pit of bodies believed to hold dozens of missing locals. It's a dark legend that raises a bit of an eyebrow when you realize it's now being used as entertainment. Today the property is one of the country's most popular haunted attractions, with a challenge so intense that almost no one completes it. Yet staff and visitors report shadow figures, strange noises, moving objects, and a man carrying an axe in the manor windows. So we have to wonder… are the scares just part of the show, or is something else haunting Frightmare Manor? March Witchcraft - Badger Medicine, Brigantia & Goblin Coombe In this March episode we explore the spiritual symbolism of the badger and its place within witchcraft, folklore and the awakening energies of early spring. We begin by looking at the difference between power animals, spirit animals and totem animals exploring how animals can appear within magical practice as guides, protectors and reflections of our own inner nature. The badger carries strong spiritual themes of earth magic, resilience, protection and boundaries. As an animal that lives beneath the soil in deep underground setts it has long been associated with the underworld, hidden knowledge and the quiet strength required to move through darkness before returning to the light. We also explore the badger's connections to witchcraft and British folklore. We then look at the Celtic goddess Brigantia, a powerful deity associated with northern Britain, sovereignty and the land itself. Brigantia's energy reflects the stirring of the earth as winter loosens its grip and spring begins to rise. To close the episode we step into folklore with a March tale called Goblin Coombe, a mysterious wooded valley in Somerset long associated with fae legends and supernatural encounters. After the drama of the murder at last week's party, Klaus and Hayley stay trapped in the compound with Hope to stay safe. Hope, of course, finds a way to have fun by making a new friend: her brother Marcel who is excited to connect with the family he desperately wants to rejoin. Freya and Elijah both pursue their own independent plans, one better than the other. Freya enlists Josh to take on the Hollow's witch and get answers, and Elijah straight up murders teenagers which is somehow Vincent's problem. Dateline: Munich Security Conference, Friday–Saturday, 13–14 Feb 2026.Europe cheers Secretary of State Marco Rubio, principally because he did not harangue and berate the audience, did not hector and threaten. His tone was conciliatory, and the audience gave him an ovation. But this was a shameful spectacle of weakness and desperation. Europe revealed that it would give anything to return to ‘normal', to how things were before Trump. They revealed that they'd still rather hang off the coat tails of the U.S. than stand up and face reality. This was a spectacle of timid and fearful children, not adults or leaders. It was even more desperate, because Rubio did not bring a return to ‘normality'. His tone may have been soft, but there was no change of substance detectable, no shift in national security policy. Hiding beneath the soft fabrics of his words, lies a cold and dark truth – the U.S. intends to meddle in European democratic affairs, promote populists and disruptors. Weaken the continent, not strengthen it. Rubio came as a wolf in sheep's clothing to Munich, and European leaders and analysts duly flocked to praise him as signifying a return to normality. Normal is over and is not coming back. It's time to wake up; time to grow up and cut the umbilical cord with a U.S. that has other priorities, and other distractions. Scarlet Hollow is a successful indie video game – and that's no small feat. It's been a long journey, and the game is made almost entirely by two people: Abby Howard and Tony Howard-Arias of Black Tabby Games. Along the way, they even took a break to make another hit game called Slay the Princess.
