Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light, Nor wanting, nor wasting, Thou rulest in might; Thy justice like mountains high soaring above Thy clouds, which are fountains of goodness and love. To all, life Thou givest, to both great and small; In all life Thou livest, the true life of all; We blossom and flourish as leaves on the tree, And wither and perish—but naught changeth Thee. Great Father of glory, pure Father of light, Thine angels adore Thee, all veiling their sight; All praise we would render: O help us to see 'Tis only the splendor of light hideth Thee. Amen. His name Is WonderfulHis name is Wonderful, His name is Wonderful, His name is Wonderful, Jesus, my Lord; He is the mighty King, Master of everything, His name is Wonderful, Jesus, my Lord. He's the great Shepherd, the Rock of all ages, Almighty God is He; Bow down before Him, Love and adore Him, His name is Wonderful, Jesus my Lord. I Surrender AllAll to Jesus I surrender, All to Him I freely give; I will ever love and trust Him, In His presence daily live. CHORUS:I surrender all, I surrender all, All to The, my blessed Savior, I surrender all. All to Jesus I surrender, Humbly at His feet I bow, Wordly pleasures all forsaken, Take me, Jesus, take me now. [CHORUS]All to Jesus I surrender, Make me, Savior, wholly Thine. Episode 43: Three Gifts Order of the Service – Welcome – Scripture Readings: Isaiah 60: 1-6, Matthew 2: 1-12 – Sermon – Prayer – Communion – Thought for the Week – Blessing – Hymn – Closing Hymn: Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing Author: Robert Robinson (Hymn will play in full at the end of the podcast.) Come, Thou Fount of every blessing, Tune my heart to sing Thy grace; Streams of mercy, never ceasing, Call for songs of loudest praise. Teach me some melodious sonnet, Sung by flaming tongues above. Praise the mount! I’m fixed upon it, Mount of Thy redeeming love. Here I raise my Ebenezer, Hither by Thy help I'm come, And I hope, by Thy good pleasure, Safely to arrive at home. Jesus sought me when a stranger Wandering from the fold of God; He, to rescue me from danger, Interposed His precious blood. Sorrowing I shall be in spirit, Till released from flesh and sin, Yet from what I do inherit, Here Thy praises I’ll begin; Here I raise my Ebenezer; Here by Thy great help I’ve come; And I hope, by Thy good pleasure, Safely to arrive at home. Jesus sought me when a stranger, Wandering from the fold of God; He, to rescue me from danger, Interposed His precious blood; How His kindness yet pursues me Mortal tongue can never tell, Clothed in flesh, till death shall loose me I cannot proclaim it well. O to grace how great a debtor Daily I’m constrained to be! Let Thy goodness, like a fetter, Bind my wandering heart to Thee. Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, Prone to leave the God I love; Here’s my heart, O take and seal it, Seal it for Thy courts above. O that day when freed from sinning, I shall see Thy lovely face; Clothed then in blood washed linen How I’ll sing Thy sovereign grace; Come, my Lord, no longer tarry, Take my ransomed soul away; Send thine angels now to carry Me to realms of endless day.
Lauded be Thy Name, O Lord our God! Thou art in truth the Knower of things unseen. Ordain for us such good as Thine all-embracing knowledge can measure. Thou art the sovereign Lord, the Almighty, the Best-Beloved. All praise be unto Thee, O Lord! We shall seek Thy grace on the appointed Day and shall put our whole reliance in Thee, Who art our Lord. Glorified art Thou, O God! Grant us that which is good and seemly that we may be able to dispense with everything but Thee. Verily, Thou art the Lord of all worlds. O God! Recompense those who endure patiently in Thy days, and strengthen their hearts to walk undeviatingly in the path of Truth. Grant then, O Lord, such goodly gifts as would enable them to gain admittance into Thy blissful Paradise. Exalted art Thou, O Lord God. Let Thy heavenly blessings descend upon homes whose inmates have believed in Thee. Verily, unsurpassed art Thou in sending down divine blessings. Send forth, O God, such hosts as would render Thy faithful servants victorious. Thou dost fashion the created things through the power of Thy decree as Thou pleasest. Thou art in truth the Sovereign, the Creator, the All-Wise. Say: God is indeed the Maker of all things. He giveth sustenance in plenty to whomsoever He willeth. He is the Creator, the Source of all beings, the Fashioner, the Almighty, the Maker, the All-Wise. He is the Bearer of the most excellent titles throughout the heavens and the earth and whatever lieth between them. All do His bidding, and all the dwellers of earth and heaven celebrate His praise, and unto Him shall all return. The Báb --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/bahaioasis/message

1 One thing more than all my heart is craving As my food by night and day; Blest with this, all ills and trials braving, Through this wilderness I stray: Ever on the Man to gaze adoring, Who, with blood-sweat and with tears imploring, On His face submissive sank, And the Father's chalice drank. 2 Ever shall mine eyes, His form retaining, View the Lamb once slain for me, As He yonder, pale and uncomplaining, Hangs upon the bitter tree; As He, thirsting, wrestled in His anguish, That in hell my soul might never languish, Of me thinking, when His cry, “It is finished!” rose on high. 3 O my Saviour, never shall Thy kindness Nor my guilt forgotten be: When I sat a stranger in my blindness, Thou didst still remember me; For Thy sheep Thou long hadst interceded Ere the shepherd's gentle voice was heeded, And-a costly ransom price! – Bought me with Thy sacrifice. 4 I am Thine; say Thou, “Amen for ever!” Blessed Jesus, mine Thou art! Let Thy precious name escape me never; Stamp it burning on my heart. Here to live and die, in Thee believing, With Thee all things bearing and achieving: This my solemn promise be, Till in heaven Thy face I see.
1 Jesus, I will ponder now On Thy holy passion; With Thy Spirit me endow For such meditation. Grant that I in love and faith May the image cherish Of Thy suffering, pain, and death That I may not perish. 2 Make me see Thy great distress, Anguish, and affliction, Bonds, and stripes, and wretchedness, And Thy crucifixion; Make me see how scourge and rod, Spear and nails, did wound Thee, How Thou diedst for man, O God, Who with thorns had crowned Thee. 3 Show me not alone Thy pain, Torment, and affliction; Let me see the cause and gain Of Thy crucifixion. Ah, my sin caused all the woe That Thou, Lord, hast suffered, Pard6ning grace dost Thou bestow, Gained when Thou wast offered. 4 Grant that I Thy passion view With repentant grieving, Nor Thee crucify anew By unholy living. How could I refuse to shun Every sinful pleasure, Since for me God's only Son Suffered without measure. 5 If my sins give me alarm And my conscience grieve me, Let Thy cross my fear disarm, Peace of conscience give me. Grant that I may trust in Thee And Thy holy passion; If His Son so loveth me, God must have compassion. 6 Grant that I may willingly Bear with Thee my crosses, Learning humbleness of Thee, Peace mid pain and losses. May I give Thee love for love; Hear me, O my Saviour, That I may in heaven above Sing Thy praise for ever.
1 Let Thy blood in mercy poured, Let Thy gracious body broken, Be to me, O gracious Lord, Of Thy boundless love the token: Thou didst give Thyself for me, Now I give myself to Thee. 2 Thou didst die that I might live; Blessed Lord, Thou cam'st to save me; All that love of God could give He for Thy sake freely gave me: Thou didst give Thyself for me, Now I give myself to Thee. 3 By the thorns that crowned Thy brow, By the spear-wound and the nailing, By Thy pain and death, I now - Claim, O Christ, Thy love unfailing: Thou didst give Thyself for me, Now I give myself to Thee. 4 Wilt Thou own the gift I bring? All my penitence I give Thee; Thou art my exalted King, Of Thy matchless love forgive me: Thou didst give Thyself for me, Now I give myself to Thee.
Happy Solemnity of the Annunciation! Thank you for joining us and committing 20 minutes of your morning to Our Lady and the Lord.Consecration to Mary by St. Maximilian Kolbe:O Immaculate, Queen of heaven and earth, Refuge of sinners and our most Merciful Mother: You to whom God entrusted the entire order of mercy: I,…unworthy sinner, prostrate myself at your feet, humbly imploring you to accept my whole and entire self as your possession and property, and to dispose of me, of all my faculties of soul and body, of my whole life, death and eternity, as it pleases you. Make use of me if such be your will, entirely without reserve to bring about that which was said of you: “She will crush your head,” and again, “You alone have destroyed all heresies in the whole world,” so that in your Immaculate and Merciful hands, I might become a useful instrument towards implanting and developing your glory in a most eminent degree in the many strayed and indifferent souls, and thus become instrumental in the spreading the sweet Kingdom of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, for wherever you enter, there you obtain the grace of conversion – since through your hands flow all the graces from the Sweetest Heart of Jesus. Grant that I may praise you, O Sacred Virgin, Give me strength against your enemies!Prayer of Consecration to St. Michael“O Glorious Prince of the heavenly host, St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in the battle and in the terrible warfare that we are waging against the principalities and powers, against the rulers of this world of darkness, against the evil spirits. Come to the aid of man, whom Almighty God created immortal, made in His own image and likeness, and redeemed at a great price from the tyranny of Satan.“Fight this day the battle of the Lord, together with the holy angels, as already thou hast fought the leader of the proud angels, Lucifer, and his apostate host, who were powerless to resist thee, nor was there place for them any longer in Heaven. That cruel, ancient serpent, who is called the devil or Satan who seduces the whole world, was cast into the abyss with his angels. Behold, this primeval enemy and slayer of men has taken courage. Transformed into an angel of light, he wanders about with all the multitude of wicked spirits, invading the earth in order to blot out the name of God and of His Christ, to seize upon, slay and cast into eternal perdition souls destined for the crown of eternal glory. This wicked dragon pours out, as a most impure flood, the venom of his malice on men of depraved mind and corrupt heart, the spirit of lying, of impiety, of blasphemy, and the pestilent breath of impurity, and of every vice and iniquity. “These most crafty enemies have filled and inebriated with gall and bitterness the Church, the spouse of the immaculate Lamb, and have laid impious hands on her most sacred possessions. In the Holy Place itself, where the See of Holy Peter and the Chair of Truth has been set up as the light of the world, they have raised the throne of their abominable impiety, with the iniquitous design that when the Pastor has been struck, the sheep may be scattered. “Arise then, O invincible Prince, bring help against the attacks of the lost spirits to the people of God, and give them the victory. They venerate thee as their protector and patron; in thee holy Church glories as her defense against the malicious power of hell; to thee has God entrusted the souls of men to be established in heavenly beatitude. Oh, pray to the God of peace that He may put Satan under our feet, so far conquered that he may no longer be able to hold men in captivity and harm the Church. Offer our prayers in the sight of the Most High, so that they may quickly find mercy in the sight of the Lord; and vanquishing the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, do thou again make him captive in the abyss, that he may no longer seduce the nations. Amen.V. Behold the Cross of the Lord; be scattered ye hostile powers.R. The Lion of the tribe of Judah has conquered, the root of David. V. Let Thy mercies be upon us, O Lord. R. Let us pray.O God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we call upon Thy holy Name, and as supplicants, we implore Thy clemency, that by the intercession of Mary, ever Virgin Immaculate and our Mother, and of the glorious St. Michael the Archangel, Thou wouldst deign to help us against Satan and all the other unclean spirits who wander about the world for the injury of the human race and the ruin of souls. 1 Come, Thou precious Ransom, come, Only hope for sinful mortals! Come, O Saviour of the world, Open are to Thee all portals. Come, Thy beauty let us see; Anxiously we wait for Thee. 2 Enter now my waiting heart, Glorious King and Lord most holy, Dwell in me and ne'er depart, Though I am but poor and lowly. O what riches mine shall be When Thou dwellest, Lord, in me! 3 My hosannas and my palms Graciously receive, I pray Thee; Evermore, as best I can, Saviour, I will homage pay Thee; And in faith I will embrace, Lord, Thy merit through Thy grace. 4 Hail, hosanna, David's Son! Help, Lord, hear our supplication; Let Thy kingdom, sceptre, crown, Bring us blessing and salvation, That for ever we may sing: Hail, hosanna, to our King!

Kent Hughes Consider her hair. It was her womanly glory, but she loosed it to wipe the Savior’s feet. Her comeliness was devoted to Jesus’ glory. Luke 1:46-48 My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has looked on the humble estate of his servant. For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed; What a glorious community of faith: Mary, the mother of Jesus, and this woman of the city. It is a story about costly grace before it is a story of thanksgiving and love. The first test for the assurance of faith is whether or not you actually love the Jesus who is not afraid to call you a sinner, and who is also sure to forgive you of that very sin. 1 John 4:19–21 We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. Come Though Fount Come Thou Fount of every blessing Tune my heart to sing Thy grace; Streams of mercy, never ceasing, Call for songs of loudest praise. Oh, to grace how great a debtor, Daily I'm constrained to be! Let Thy goodness, like a fetter, Bind my wand'ring heart to Thee. Dietrich Bonhoeffer Christian community is not an ideal we have to realize, but rather a reality created by God in Christ in which we may participate. … we enter into that life together with other Christians, not as those who make demands, but as those who thankfully receive …. We do not complain about what God does not give us; rather we are thankful for what God does give us daily. Tim Chester - A Meal with Jesus Our meals express our doctrine of justification. It’s possible to articulate an orthodox theology of justification by faith, but communicate through your meals a doctrine of justification by works.
Our version of the Classic Hymn Words: Judson W. Van DeVenter, 1896, He writes:"The song was written while I was conducting a meeting at East Palestine, Ohio, in the home of George Sebring (founder of the Sebring Campmeeting Bible Conference in Sebring, Ohio. For some time, I had struggled between developing my talents in the field of art and going into full-time evangelistic work. At last the pivotal hour of my life came, and I surrendered all. A new day was ushered into my life. I became an evangelist and discovered down deep in my soul a talent hither to unknown to me. God had hidden a song in my heart, and touching a tender chord, He caused me to sing."Music: Winfield S. Weeden, 1896 1. , All to Him I freely give; I will ever love and trust Him, In His presence daily live. ◦ I surrender all, I surrender all. All to Thee, my blessed Savior, I surrender all. 2. Van DeVenter, 1896:Judson W. Van DeVenter (1855-1939) was raised in a Christian home. At age 17, he accepted Jesus as his Savior. He graduated university with a degree in art and was employed successfully as a teacher and administrator of high school art. He traveled extensively, visiting the various art galleries throughout Europe. Van DeVenter also studied and taught music. He mastered 13 different instruments, sang and composed music. He was very involved in the music ministry of his Methodist Episcopal church and eventually found himself torn between his successful teaching career and his desire to be a part of an evangelistic team. This struggle within himself lasted for almost five years. In 1896, Van DeVenter was conducting the music of a church event. It was during these meetings that he finally surrendered his desires completely to God -- He made the decision to become a full-time evangelist. As he submitted completely to the will of his Lord, a song was born in his heart. I Surrender All was put to music by Winfield S. Weeden (1847-1908 ), who published this and many other hymns in several volumes. Weeden so loved this song that the words I Surrender All were put on his tombstone.I Surrender All-Oui, Prends Tout, Seigneur!Paroles (français) :Entre tes mains, j'abandonneTout ce que j'appelle mienOh! O God! Educate these children. These children are the plants of Thine orchard, the flowers of Thy meadow, the roses of Thy garden. Let Thy rain fall upon them; let the Sun of Reality shine upon them with Thy love. Let Thy breeze refresh them in order that they may be trained, 36 grow and develop, and appear in the utmost beauty. Thou art the Giver. Thou art the Compassionate.P. 28 Read by Wilf PetersSubscribe in a reader
