Dundalk FC snatch a late late winner in an evenly matched, open game against Galway Utd with Tyreke Wilson once again proving the match winner. While struggling to convert chances for much of the match Ciaran Kilduff will be delighted that his side has once again taken all 3 points in a game that look very much like ending in a draw as the Lilywhites take another step towards top flight survival and perhaps more. We also discuss Damien Duff's arrival at Brentford and his legacy in the League of Ireland.
Two weeks following their defeat to Roscommon in the Connacht Final, Galway's senior footballers begin their quest for All-Ireland silverware this Saturday (23rd May) when they host Kildare in Round 1.

After inconsistent recent form Dundalk rally at home in front of a full house to beat Finn Harps and secure the first division Championship and priceless prize of automatic promotion. With Cobh losing in Longford the Lilywhites now go into the final day with an unassailable 7 point league and the small matter of a Leinster cup final against Stephen Kenny's St Patrick's Athletic. Ep 199 reflects on the penultimate act of a momentous campaign.
Despite a dominant display in the first half Dundalk fail to add to their initial goal and have to settle for a draw when Athlone's converted free kick draws them level and the Lilywhites squander a host of late chances to take all 3 points. With Cobh's win over Bray bringing them within 4 points of the Lilywhites with 6 to play for all thoughts turn to Friday's home game against Finn Harps, where a win will secure promotion and the title regardless of Cobh's performance in Longford, while anything else could see the title go down to the final day.
After last weeks nightmare in Longford, Dundalk FC bounce back with a home win over UCD to gain a crucial 3 points in the title race. The Lilywhites enjoy a slice of good luck being awarded 2 spot kicks and survive a late UCD rally in a game where the Students dominated possession and passing but nonetheless have to watch a Horgan inspired Dundalk take all 3 points in the second half.

Despite dropping 2 points against Kerry the Lilywhites remain in pole position as the title enters its final 7 games with only final day opponents Cobh Ramblers remaining as serious challengers to automatic promotion.
Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Billie T, Vass Koni and Ash as the panel discuss the latest developments of Spurs in the transfer window. Tottenham fans woke up to the news this morning that the Lilywhites are in talks with Crystal Palace over a deal for Eberechi Eze. According to some sources, Spurs now know exactly what it would take to sign Eze while their North London rivals, Arsenal, are hesitating to substantiate their interest in the 27-year-old. This development comes on the back of multiple outlets suggesting over the last two days that Tottenham are also locked in negotiations with Manchester City for Savinho. While it is clear that the North Londoners have not reached an agreement over the transfer of either player, Spurs fans will be encouraged by what is being reported about the duo's intentions. According to reports, Eze is keen on completing a move to Tottenham if the club can agree a fee with Crystal Palace.Meanwhile, sources from Brazil have claimed that Savinho has already said ‘yes' to Spurs as he is keen to play regular football ahead of next summer's World Cup. Dundalk looked to have buried recent shot-shyness with a goal within the first 95 seconds, while a second from Gbemi Arubi set up what should have been a comfortable evening for the Lilywhites. However a goal keeping error and defensive lapses see Wexford mount a considerable fightback as the evening turned into a edge of your seat thriller. Dundalk remain on the top of the table as the season enters its final furlong.
After romping to a comprehensive victory in the South West, Dundalk draw a blank at the seaside as Bray are awarded a mysterious penalty while the Lilywhites spurn a litany of chances. The failure to convert possession into goals continues to bedevil Dundalk as despite an energetic performance against Sligo Rovers, the Bit of Red's second hard rapid fire brace sees Dundalk exit the FAI Cup. Ep 192 discusses the prospects for promotion, the ethics of booing ex players and whether our League campaign is like the Bismarck.

Dundalk overcome a surprisingly tough test in Wexford as the Lilywhites are forced to come from behind to claim all 3 points and maintain their unbeaten record. An early goal from Leo Gaxha is quickly cancelled out by Darragh Levingston equaliser, before Wexford grab the lead and looked set to maintain it until a triple substitution sees Kilduff's men regain control of the game and go on to grab a late winning to keep their title bid on track as the season reaches it's midpoint break.
Despite taking a 1st half lead and dominating possession Dundalk continue to struggle to build on winning positions as Bray equalise from a set piece before taking a shock lead, with the Lilywhites having to dig deep to maintain their unbeaten record with an injury time equaliser. Ep 187 discusses how Dundalk can recover their early season form and the rumored return of some former players.

Ep 184 discusses the pitch battle with the students, LOI TVs technical difficulties and Ronan Finn's pantomime villain status as the Lilywhites consolidate their grip on the automatic promotion spot.
Despite international call ups forcing Ciaran Kilduff to reinforce the back 4 with two midfielders and introduce more inexperienced teenagers to the first team Dundalk FC continue to play attractive football and get results as they come from behind to earn a win against Longford Town in a game the Lilywhites statistically dominated. A point gained? Or two points dropped? Thanks to Andoni Iraola, Bournemouth fans sense the latter. On Sunday, Cherries travelled to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to face the Lilywhites in buoyant mood thanks to the levels of expectation set by our Basque boss. Whilst Bournemouth's Premier League form has been shaky of late, there still remain great expectations for this season, and the pre-match chatter amongst Boscombe fans suggested that this match-up in North London would be pivotal to that. Whilst game ended with a "creditable" 2-2, Cherries fans came away deflated - a feeling that is, by it's own admission, an acknowledgement and realisation that Iraola continues to raise the bar - after all, a point at Spurs is superb right? Are we wrong to feel frustrated or even miffed by dropping points?! Sam and Tom discuss the finer details... Thank you to everyone who has contributed to all our platforms. Ciarán Kilduff's young guns hit the road and return with a maximum points thanks to two 0 - 1 victories over Finn Harps and Kerry. In similar displays Dundalk defend first half leads with the youthful defense absorbing plenty of pressure from the home sides. Dundalk's first visit to Kerry is all the more impressive given the Lilywhites emerge with 3 points despite playing over 60 mins reduced to 10 men after Leo Gaxha's red card.

Tel's Tottenham switch comes at the perfect time as the Lilywhites have two huge games on the calendar over the coming days as they take on Liverpool in the Carabao Cup and Aston Villa in the FA Cup.
