This week on the Lancaster Farming Industrial Hemp Podcast, host Eric Hurlock wrestles with a question at the heart of the industry: What is hemp? The term has become increasingly diluted and controversial — especially in light of smokable flower and intoxicating cannabinoid markets, i.e. THC-a flower, Delta-8, etc. Lately, Eric has been saying that if you're growing floral hemp, maybe you're not actually a hemp farmer. But he might be wrong and this week he goes on a journey to find out. On this show, Eric speaks with three trusted voices on the cannabinoid side of the conversation to help untangle the confusion: Joe Ullman of Atlas Seed, Ben Davies of Wild Fox Provisions and Jeremy Klettke of Davis Hemp Farms. Together, they explore the cultural history, legal definitions and evolving market forces that have transformed how we use — and misuse — the word hemp. From fiber and grain to cannabinoids and regulation, this episode digs deep into the meaning, the consequences and the potential for redefining the future of the hemp industry. Learn More: • Joe Ullman – Atlas Seed • Ben Davies – Wild Fox Provisions • Jeremy Klettke – Davis Hemp Farms Topics Covered: • The origin and historical meaning of "hemp" • How the 2018 Farm Bill broadened the definition • The rise of THCa flower and "intoxicating hemp" • The conflict between cannabinoid and fiber/grain sectors • Regulatory confusion and COA loopholes • The cultural baggage of the word "hemp" • The role of education, infrastructure, and language in shaping the industry Hemp Sponsors: • IND HEMP — Building real infrastructure for American hemp • King's AgriSeeds — Call Sarah Mitchell for seasonal seed needs (717-687-6224) • Forever Green — Distributor of the KP4 hemp cutter Questions or comments? This week's episode is a little different—just a quick teaser while we finish up next week's show, which dives into the meaning of the word “hemp” and who gets to claim it. Host Eric Hurlock has been on a journey talking to people in the cannabinoid space—like Jeremy Klettke, Joe Ullman, and Ben Davies—to sort through some big questions about language, identity, and the hemp plant. In the meantime, we don't want to leave you empty-handed. So here are a few instrumental tracks that Eric Hurlock has recorded over the years—music you've probably heard behind the podcast, but now without all the talking! Thanks for listening and for your patience.
In this episode, Ben Davies is joined by Alyssa Ismail from Century 21, Sebastian Schmoranz of MSSH Lawyers, and Rob & Sandra Zanet of Indi Mortgages. They dive into the current real estate market in the Windsor/Essex area, discussing house prices, bidding wars, mortgage rates, and more. Whether you're buying or selling a home, tune in for valuable tips and expert insights to navigate this dynamic market.

After a relatively dull first-half, it was looking like the Fulhamish Live Show curse might be about to continue but, Muniz and Sess slotted home two second-half goals to allow plenty of giddy conversation to be had at the Half Moon Putney. In part one, George is joined by Adam Farquharson, Drew Heatley and Yasmin Mills to digest the day's events. It's a raw emotional reaction to the one and only Ryan Sessegnon who shouldered off Ben Davies to secure Fulham's victory over Tottenham Hotspur. They pay homage to Sess' stardom, acknowledge Willian's continued class and control at the Cottage and comment on whether it may be the end of the road for Ange Postecoglou. In part two, Sammy takes the stage with Jack Collins, Farrell Monk and, Fulhamish's special guest, Paul Cooper! They each react to the wonderful 2-0 win that will take the pressure off the incoming run of challenging Premier League fixtures that Fulham now face. The microphone travels around the room as they then answer some of your live listener questions on Dan Burn's recent successes, the hope of Wilson's return and whether they would prefer the Europa Conference League or an FA Cup final. --SHOW-LINKS:If you enjoy Fulhamish, please consider contributing a small amount monthly to help pay our costs. fWotD Episode 2833: 2009–10 Notts County F.C. season Welcome to Featured Wiki of the Day, your daily dose of knowledge from Wikipedia’s finest articles. The featured article for Wednesday, 5 February 2025 is 2009–10 Notts County F.C. season.During the 2009–10 English football season, Notts County competed in Football League Two, the fourth tier of the English football league system. Shortly before the season began, the club was subject to a high-profile takeover by Munto Finance, purportedly a wealthy Middle East-based consortium with ambitions to take the club to the Premier League. The former England manager Sven-Göran Eriksson was appointed director of football, and lavish spending began in apparent early efforts to achieve these ambitions. In reality, Munto Finance was controlled by the convicted fraudster Russell King, and the club had been acquired as part of an elaborate scheme to list a fake mining company on the stock exchange. The promised money did not exist, King fled when the scheme collapsed and Notts County were left deeply in debt. Eriksson resigned following a further takeover by Ray Trew, who prevented bankruptcy and oversaw a successful conclusion to the season, with the team winning the League Two championship and promotion to Football League One. The team also fared well in the FA Cup, reaching the last sixteen of the competition. The season saw four different owners, three permanent first-team managers and two spells of interim management. In total, the team played 54 competitive matches, winning 31, drawing 14 and losing nine. Lee Hughes scored 33 goals across all competitions, becoming the first Notts County player to score 30 goals in a season since Tommy Lawton sixty years earlier, while Ben Davies made the most appearances, featuring in 51 games. Munto Finance's takeover and the wider scheme it formed a part of were investigated by journalists from the beginning. It was the subject of a 2011 episode of the BBC One show Panorama and a BBC Sounds podcast series in 2022. Notts County continued to experience off-field problems over the following years, and the team were relegated to non-League football in 2019; coverage of the club's plight and subsequent attempts to recover often refer to the events of 2009.This recording reflects the Wikipedia text as of 00:30 UTC on Wednesday, 5 February 2025.For the full current version of the article, see 2009–10 Notts County F.C. season on Wikipedia. This podcast uses content from Wikipedia under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License.Visit our archives at wikioftheday.com and subscribe to stay updated on new episodes.Follow us on Mastodon at @wikioftheday@masto.ai.Also check out Curmudgeon's Corner, a current events podcast.Until next time, I'm long-form Ruth.
Due to evacuating from the Los Angeles fires, for the first time ever in our 5 year run as a show, we were unable to deliver a new weekly episode. Instead, please enjoy this unlocked bonus episode from our Patreon vaults of one of our favorite things we watched in 2024. We are actually working on our special 5 year anniversary roundup/clip show, so we'll be back soon with brand new content. Thanks so much for your support! --- One of the most bizarre and singular pieces of Christian media we've ever watched is this dreamlike documentary from the minds of father/daughter writer/director team Derek and Vanessa Frank, who assembled some of the biggest names in Christian film history to shake the Protestant Reformation down to the “demonic conspiracy” at its very core: the anti-Semitic teachings of Martin Luther and John Calvin. In LET THE LION ROAR, Kevin Sorbo, Stephen Baldwin, Eric Roberts, John Schneider, and young up-and-comer Ben Davies star as 16th-century European historical figures who don funny hats and monologue their virulently anti-Semitic views to the camera for extended scenes, some lasting for several minutes at a time. Writer Derek Frank believes that the major weakness that plagues Protestantism is its insufficient respect for the Jewish faith and an unwillingness for the Christian church to become fully “grafted into Israel.” Mr. Frank has written five more “theses,” to add to Martin Luther's famous 95 Theses of 1517, that propose full deference to Jews from Protestants that he hopes will heal Christianity and save it from vague, unitarian sluggishness that he reads as weakness. This is an ambitious and extremely boring goal to try to sell to an audience, but the Franks make it fun with uncanny corporate stock footage and a series of costume changes that make Derek Frank look like the Architect from The Matrix, if that character were a hardcore Zionist. In general, Derek Frank's extreme passion for his case of “finishing” the Protestant Reformation is what sells this documentary — he gazes directly at the audience severely like a cat that has just cornered a mouse and wants to talk to it about Israel for an hour before dealing the death blow that will wipe it out of existence forever. The Lion of Judah is a lion after all, and Derek Frank teaches us that to hammer your point home, you must approach your argument with the ferocity of an apex predator. Host Ricky Sacks was joined by Jason McGovern, Patrick Tyrant and Adam Osper as Tottenham's late turnaround secured a 2-1 win over Championship side Coventry to progress to the Carabao Cup fourth round and keep four trophies available to Ange Postecoglou in his pursuit of second-season silverware. Postecoglou took some by surprise when he fielded a side full of fringe players, days after making a point of saying that he "always" wins trophies in the second season at his clubs. Ultimately, his stars had to come on to rescue the game. Coventry were superior side throughout and led until two minutes from regulation time after Brandon-Thomas Asante's opener just past the hour. They could have been further ahead but Ben Davies stopped Haji Wright's goalbound shot. The link is in the podcast episode description bo#An## Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Richard Cracknell, Russ Williams and Marcus Buckland as Spurs ended a five-game winning run at home in the league with a 2-1 defeat to Wolves at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The visitors went ahead just before half-time when Gomes was left unmarked eight yards out and rose well to powerfully head home Pablo Sarabia's right-wing corner. But Tottenham made it 1-1 after only 34 seconds of the second half. Wolves failed to clear a Spurs throw-in and Dejan Kulusevski ran past Craig Dawson and prodded the ball through Jose Sa's legs. Tottenham had fought back after conceding the first goal to beat Brentford and Brighton in their past two home games and Kulusevski had two chances to put the hosts in front this time. However, Sa made an excellent save low down to his left and Nelson Semedo blocked a goalbound effort to keep it level. Those squandered chances proved significant as Wolves sprang a quick counter-attack with Pedro Neto pulling the ball back for Gomes to side-foot home what proved to be the winning goal. The hosts pushed for a late leveller, but Micky van de Ven and Ben Davies missed chances late on as the visitors held on for the victory. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by returning guests Richard Cracknell, Patrick Tyrant and Vass Koni from the Doctor Tottenham Podcast as Tottenham's three-game winning run came to an emphatic end as Roberto De Zerbi's rampant Brighton handed them a 4-2 defeat at the Amex Stadium. The latest in anti-woke cinema is the Christmas comedy JINGLE SMELLS by director Daniel Lusko. This holiday tale of an Iraq war veteran turned garbageman turned “Robin Hood” stars a pantheon of Christian and conservative media personalities including John Schneider (recently in the news for nearly winning The Masked Singer and then vaguely threatening President Joe Biden on social media), the prolific legend Eric Roberts, SNL alumni Victoria Jackson and Jim Breuer, Trump-affiliated lawyer Jay Sekulow, Fox News powerhouse Sean Hannity, and newcomer Ben Davies. When handsome yet unmotivated veteran Nick Gutman (Ben Davies) gets a humble waste management job using his cop father's (John Schneider) connections, he accidentally thwarts an evil toy company CEO's (Eric Roberts) plan to cancel a once-great action movie actor by throwing away all of the action figures made in the actor's likeness. Nick Gutman is dubbed “Jingle Smells” by his local media for redistributing the tossed toys to poor kids in the neighborhood — however, in our opinion, JINGLE SMELLS ultimately fails in its mission to create a new Christmas legend by tipping the sacred cows of liberalism. Its comedy is too niche and internet-poisoned to make a splash outside of its small yet well-connected conservative scene. It's a “big trash, small dumpster” situation. Sean Hannity produced a Christmas comedy this year called Jingle Smells. The movie premiered on the video site Rumble, which is attempting to be a conservative version of YouTube. The premise involves quirky garbage men and canceled Christmas toys. It features John Schneider, Ben Davies, Eric Roberts, Victoria Jackson, James Storm, Jim Breuer, and, of course, Sean Hannity as himself! This one was bound to hurt even the most battle-hardened Lodgers. But we made it through to deliver this Christmas miracle episode to you! Merry Chongsmas and Happy Chongnukkah!

Our guest today is actor Ben Davies who has landed the lead role in twenty feature films and counting. In high school, he was a six-time All-American and held a National Gold Medal in both the Decathlon and Javelin. But after an athletic injury sidelined him in college, he got the call to audition for Sherwood Pictures' highly successful film, Courageous. Ben booked the co-starring role of David Thomson and won the "Light In Hollywood Award" for that performance. Ben also appeared in another highly successful film War Room, starring Karen Abercrombie. Ben definitely has the Lord's guiding hand upon him. Today, he is starring in this season's new Christmas movie Jingle Smells along side an all-star cast with John Schneider, Eric Roberts, Jim Breuer and Victoria Jackson to name a few. #actor #filmproducer #thedailywire #faith #inspiration #filmmaker #filmmaking #sherwoodproductions #faithbasedfilms #movielover #Christmasmovie
Our guest today is the freewheeling, comedy storyteller – Jim Breuer who made the list of Comedy Central's “100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time” – he's hotter than ever, who's audiences continue to beg for more. Once you see him live, you're hooked. Jim Breuer estimates that 80% of his fans have seen him “five, six, seven” times. And did you know that Jim is pleased to say he's been F-word free for ten years and counting? Jim came to national attention during his seasons on Saturday Night Live '95-98, a rebuilding era whose cast featured Will Ferrell, David Spade and Norm McDonald. But Jim Breuer is here to spread a bit of Christmas cheer with this season's newest holiday movie, Jingle Smells. Jim is starring along with John Schneider, Ben Davies, Eric Roberts, Victoria Jackson and many others. Let's welcome the man who can always bring the funny anywhere he goes, the one and the only Jim Breuer to the show. #comedy #comedyvideos #comedyspecial #comedian #standupcomic #comedian #comedyclub #jimbreuer #comedycentral #standupcomedy #snl #saturdaynightlive #christmas
Actor John Schneider changed the course of television history with iconic characters and cross-generational appeal with the Dukes of Hazzard, Smallville, The Haves and the Have Nots, but the fact that he's done exactly that on a regular basis for at least four decades makes him a legend. John has over 20 albums to his credit, five #1 singles on the Billboard Country chart and his latest We're Still Us. On the road, you may even catch John Schneider and Tom Wopat singing together bringing back more memories than just the General Lee jumping through the sky. John is back with us today as he stars in the new Christmas movie, Jingle Smells along with Ben Davies, Eric Roberts, Jim Breuer and Victoria Jackson to name a few. And John has a heart for people, as it's worth noting that John co-founded (with Marie Osmond) the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, which has raised more than $8.5 billion for 170 children's hospitals throughout the United States. Ladies and gentlemen, let's welcome actor/singer/songwriter, the legend himself, actor John Schneider back to the show. #dukesofhazzard #smallville #generallee #televisionseries #tvseries #tylerperry #johnschneider #tomwopat #childrensmiraclenetwork #newalbum #newmusic #newbook #newmovie #singersongwriter #actor #filmmaking #filmmaker

Host Ricky Sacks is joined by returning guests Richard Cracknell, Russ Williams and Mitch Fretton as Tottenham secured their first win under the management of Ange Postecoglou and in the post-Harry Kane era with a thrilling and deserved victory over Manchester United. There were pre-match demonstrations against chairman Daniel Levy and owners ENIC, but Postecoglou was given a thunderous reception and once the action got under way Spurs responded with a vivid demonstration of the attacking style that is the Australian's trademark. Spurs and United created chances throughout a sometimes chaotic encounter before the deadlock was broken by Pape Matar Sarr's goal, drilled high into the net from close range four minutes after the interval. In a game of numerous chances, Spurs sealed the victory in front of the ecstatic home support after 83 minutes when Ivan Perisic's cross took a touch off Ben Davies before going in via Lisandro Martinez.
