It has been a few weeks since we've been able to get you a podcast about Star Wars, but we've been busy with superhero stuff on the sister podcast, This is the Way Phase Four. There was a disturbance in the Force, however, and Steve wanted to get back to basics before The Book of Boba Fett became an all-consuming presence. Steve has been taking his time watching one episode of Visions at a time and more often than not, he's been surprised by what he likes. Star Wars didn't seem like it would fit in the anime world, but The Ninth Jedi is another one of those positive experiences that dares you to dislike it. How interesting would it have been if the lightsaber just glowed with the Force affinity of the user and colorless when the Jedi wasn't ready? Forget those weird beaded braids and "bleeding" a crystal. The soundtracks are really starting to prove to be one of the highlights and perhaps it shows just how important John Williams' score was to the original movie that started this all. The story and history and future of this created universe are "the complete package" and the executive producer and the writer/director for this installment show the proper reverence while taking Star Wars into new areas. Steve recaps "The Ninth Jedi", talks about the Filmmaker Focus featurette, and reminds you of our November giveaway being announced this month. Wait...that lightsaber is RED!!!!! Join Colleen and Anders as they continue to make their way through Star Wars Visions with The Ninth Jedi! Both agree this short film is pretty much flawless and we need more of it (particularly more Droids taking a coffee break!). We get some great additions to Lightsaber lore in this film, and we see several anime tropes turned on their heads. Recommendations this week include the animes Escaflowne and Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood from Colleen and Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson from Anders. Who should direct the next trilogy of films? And we also have the official title for Spider-Verse 2. More Marvel news as James Gunn has cast his Adam Warlock for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. In the land of Star Wars, the director of The Ninth Jedi from Star Wars: Visions wants to turn his short into a feature film. Today Dustin the Star Wars guy goes over Episode 5 of Star Wars Visions "The Ninth Jedi" and it is by far the best episode of the season. It is the episode which feels most like Star Wars, with no over the top action or dialogue. This episode had some twists in it that I didn't see coming, nor did we think anyone saw coming for that matter. I think that this episode has one of the best potentials for more content with these characters in Kara and Ethan along with the Margrave. Aesthetically pleasing for sure! Take a Listen!

#DalePacoto❤️ TIMELINE 00:00:00 INTRO FOSERA 00:01:54 INICIO Y PRESENTACIONES 00:07:55 CAPÍTULO 1 "THE DUEL" 01:08:01 CAPÍTULO 2 "TATOOINE RHAPSODY" 01:25:33 CAPÍTULO 3 "THE TWINS" 01:55:58 CAPÍTULO 4 "THE VILLAGE BRIDE" 02:22:18 CAPÍTULO 5 "THE NINTH JEDI" 02:47:00 CAPÍTULO 6 "T0-B1" 03:10:20 CAPÍTULO 7 "THE ELDER" 03:40:47 CAPÍTULO 8 "LOP AND OCHÔ" 03:59:11 CAPÍTULO 9 "AKAKIRI" 04:16:30 CONCLUSIONES FINALES Y DESPEDIDAS www.lafosadelrancor.com
