This set was recorded during the rise and fall of empires on Saturday the 11th of June. During this day Amsterdams Most Wanted had its very first art exposition. The artist was Abdul Qadim Haqq the writer of the book of Drexciya vol. 1 & 2. It's one of the greatest art projects where they synthesized a rich Afrocentric aquatic world to accompany their precise theory in the techno lexicon Haqq has provided art for many techno acts, including the Belleville Three, Jeff Mills, Underground Resistance, and Carl Craig to name a few. His art is the de facto visual aesthetic for the period in which the original Detroit techno/electro sound came into glorious form. It was sunny, the vibe and energy were as they should be and the mixture of attendees was in balance. Sous Dubois and Oliver Kucera played a b2b set where they blended a mixture of electro and techno Oliver is capable of creating more different styles within the wide variety of music, moving from deep Minimal to Breakbeat to Club to pounding techno. Sous his diversity is characterized by a blend of breakbeats, electro, tribal, rave, hypnotic, and trippy sounds that complement his overall techno sound. Luca Vollaro, aka Electrorites was born in Pordenone (Italy) in 1977. The rhythm of his father’s records was the background music of his childhood; then things got serious when he found himself in front of his first console and an irresistible musical passion took over. Public acclaim came in 1994, when he won an international DJ competition organized by a well-known club in Udine, which, given the success of the young dj, asked him to continue to perform. Around that time he became a member of the staff of Radio Supernetwork; at first as a mixing desk technician and then with his own program in which he proposed the latest innovative music of his genre. Meanwhile he also continued to perform in clubs. Experience led his style to evolve, from progressive to electronic, until he arrived at a techno sound, without however being chained to a particular genre, demonstrating rather a vocation for free and open musical inspiration, inspired always and in any case by experimentation. His first vinyl release was in the 2005. In 2010 he started to play internationally; in Germany, Spain, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lithuania and other countries. Electrorites has founded his first record label, shout records in the 2010, nightmare factory records in 2011 with a lot of great artists like space DJz, Dave The Drummer, Hans Bouffmyhre, Bjoern Torwellen, Oliver Kucera, Iformat and more! In the last years he has released his works with Decoy Records, AFU Limited, Morforecs, MFM Records, Vector Functions Records, The Zone Records and more. The 68th episode of Audio Affair is a live recording of the first hour of a set I did for Surreal in Berlin on the 7th of July. Kole Leijen (1983) is started playing and making Techno music since 1998. Getting support from the biggest artists like Jeff Mills,Dave Clarke,DVS1,Oscar Mulero,Chris Liebing and many others, he is a well known character in the scene. Also Kole is owner of U.F.F Records, which has now 14 releases, with artist like, Jay Denham, Elektrabel, Oliver Kucera, Eric Fetcher and Mike Storm on it. Played at hundreds of parties in his career, he knows how to get the visitor at higher spheres with his hypnotic DJ-sets. As highlights he played also at Awakenings and Tresor Berlin. In 2012 he also appears on Axis Records with the Something In The Sky Mix . In 2007 he started with Jan Boekel, his own party-organisation, called ‘Civilized?’. They found a club called Escape in Amsterdam, where they gave the parties. With artists like Elektrabel, Regis, Anton Pieëte, Bas Mooy, and Rumenige & Loktibrada. DJ Surgeles played also with artists like Dimitri (nl) b2b, Echoplex, and Steve Rachmad. DJ Surgeles won the ADE 2005 Competition for best track with Dave Clarke. GabeeN (HU) - NightVision Techno PODCAST 55 Pt. 2 Bio: GABEEN[Gábor Bacsárdi] was born on the 13th of July in 1988 in Szekesfehervar, Hungary. He has actually never learnt playing on any ins t rume nt .Back in a few years, regarding music, his biggest influence was his brother /Xilinox aka The Bee/, because of him, he had to keep follow up on the yearly evented Mayday andLoveparade videos. Keep sneaking on his brother he`s learnt the basics of how to produce music. As his sound wasn`t the most proper in the beginning, he only presented his tunesto his friends, but in 2005 he started to care about it more seriously. It has taken quite a while to be able to find his own style, therefore at the very beginning he started with hard techno.His first official release came out on a Hengarian label so called Survival Records which unfortunatelly does not exist by now, than his next release followed on Audio Exit Records which can still be proud of thier nowadays activities. after his first successes in Hungary, he`s tried to focus his attention over the boarder in order to make his name more remarkable. From the year of 2009, he simultaneously getting requests for albums and remixes. Oliver Kucera (NL) - NightVision Techno PODCAST 17 Pt. 2 Bio: This from origin Czech producer started getting interested in music already at the age of six, mainly because both of his parents had strong musical backgrounds, hey started playing trumpet but soon the musical boundaries of this single instrument couldn’t keep him interested anymore. 2 years later he received his first computers: A Roland 909 and the Atari. From here on his spirit in creating electronic-al music really got inspired and as the years went by he got more familiar with other software and better equipment. On new years eve 2003/2004, Oliver Kucera and his best friend George met Willem Baars from North Coast Studio and the arranged a meeting together. After being confronted with Oliver’s rough tracks Willem was totally convinced about this young producer’s capacities and so they went into the studio together to sharpen up the edges of Oliver’s tracks so they could release them. Soon became clear that Oliver was capable of creating more different styles of music. From deep minimalistic house, filmscores, hiphop to breakz till pounding techno. From here of the decision was made to start performing live on stage. Some performances are only with the use of 2 laptops, EFX and a controller.
