“N.d has only one intention: to drag you from your senses and take you deep down into his chambers, where you will be subject to a heavy dosage of the industrial rhythmic progression which underlines the overall sound of his Techno.” First artist to ever release on Trivmvirate, Chris is resident in Malta’s finest techno nights, opening for Sandwell District, The Third Man, Markus Suckut this past summer alone. His sound is first class club music: a smart mixture of deep tinged Techno, darker House music and rhythmical Dub sculptures. His productions played by nothing but Xhin and Alan Fitzpatrick among others, just to pick on both extremes. N.d is an extremely productive composer and his performance are more than often exclusively composed by his own materials, he is available for liveset performances. CONTAINER PODCAST [25] KR!Z *Podcast from CLR Kr!z always had a strong sympathy for the more gloomy, dark, rawer sound of techno. Artists like Jeff Mills, Surgeon & James Ruskin had a major influence on him in the 90ies. They helped to define his musical taste and develop his own identity in the techno scene. Kr!z still has a big love for hip hop, which has left it’s mark in his technical dj style: fast & tight mixing, properly dosed with cuts & scratches. Being a respected & established value in Belgium for a decade and a resident-dj for Belgium's legendary techno night 'Kozzmozz', his dj-schedule now takes him all over the world. In 2007, Kr!z felt there was too much good music around from his favourite artists that didn't get a proper release, so he started his own label 'Token'. He rapidly established the label as a fixed value in the techno scene of today by bringing a timeless & powerful techno sound. In the 5 years of it’s existence Token released tracks & remixes from Inigo Kennedy, Phase, Luke Slater, James Ruskin, Marcel Dettmann, Blawan, Surgeon, Ben Klock, Xhin, Sigha & Peter Van Hoesen, amongst others. Also the Token label night concept took off with great success after memorable nights in Berlin (Berghain & Tresor), Brussels (Fuse), Shanghai, London, Rotterdam, and more. For the 9th Episode of our podcast series we welcome a deep mix from the man behind Fullbar, Arthur Barr. It showcases current and forthcoming releases from the now 2 year running label. **About Fullbarr** Northern label Fullbarr already has a reputation to belie its young age; one that eschews hype and big names for sonic freshness and musical maturity. “It’s all a bit of fun,” says founder Arthur Barr in a typically self-effacing style. “But it’s also a labour of love. I really want to continue to build on this little collective and want to continue expressing my eclectic tastes.” So far the likes of Brendon Moeller, fast rising talents Samaan and Youandewan, Classic boss Luke Solomon and German minimalist Losoul have all chipped in to Fullbarr’s small but well formed back catalogue, joining the dots been deepest dub, groove-laden house and moody techno. But don’t just take my word for it: check the tracklists of people like Seth Troxler, Xhin, Paul Woolford, The Revenge and many more high profile spinners, all of whom found space for a Fullbarr track or two in their sets this past year. From seedy teenage beginnings swigging vodka and providing beats at Ibizan strip joints ,to skilful A&R and respected head of a burgeoning label, Arthur Barr is the man behind all this, and is now curating his first compilation. “I wanted to encapsulate the label in 70 minutes” states the twenty something from Bradford. “I am hoping it may provoke people into further exploring the back catalogue as I will be giving it away on various blogs and in certain clubs and record stores around Europe.” Hung up on the idea of organic growth rather than social media saturation, Fullbarr puts as much focus on vinyl presses, nice artwork and close connections with artists - on both personal and professional levels - as anything else. Naturally, that means the most important thing is the music, and whether it makes the boss feel something, rather than how many units it may or may not shift. “The label and I are inspired and influenced by good liquor, sunrises, friends, Soma, Smallville and a whole load of other stuff that doesn’t matter” says the boss, before shining a light on the coming months. “Watch out for releases from Luke Solomon, Losoul, Kalabrese, Samaan, Vince Watson, Immer, San Soda, Hans Berg and Le Jockey, all in the first half of 2012.” Have a listen and get taken on a journey through the deep hypnotic sound of Fullbarr releases current and upcoming...

Not to mention a trained musician, studio engineer and a previous position as a live sound engineer. Timothy Alexander started making music in 2002 both in a live post-rock band and as an electronic instrumental act. Taking inspiration from the likes of Skinny Puppy, Nitzer Ebb, Ministr, Killing Joke and other more atmospherical acts such as Cult of Luna and Pelican, whilst making his own distinctive ambient soundscapes. Using computers as well as hardware synthesis, Tim was able to warp and mutate sounds as well as introducing drums to help build up more emotion throughout each tracks. This ambient project was developed into an unhealthy obsession where he was constantly aiming for more complex atmospheres and more relentless percussive elements. Sharing the stage with the likes of Surgeon, Dave Clarke, Gary Beck, Grovskopa, Audio Injection and Vince Watson, Timothy has learned to develop his mixing style which often comprises of up to 4 tracks at once, plus extra samples and loops. Supported by the best in the industry such as Speedy J, Chris Liebing, Tommy Four Seven and Audio Injection, Timothy is one of the true underground artists to watch out for. www.facebook.com/timothyalexander www.soundcloud.com/timothyalexander www.facebook.com/diacoperecords
