Kaela Kucera, Director of Outbound Sales at Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations, joined Technology Reseller News Publisher Doug Green for an ITAD-focused discussion on sustainability, data security, and the growing importance of full lifecycle IT management. Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations provides both IT asset disposition (ITAD) and electronics recycling services for B2B organizations, with facilities in Wisconsin, Virginia, and Tennessee. The company manages the complete lifecycle of retired IT assets—from intake and asset tracking to data wiping, testing, refurbishment, resale, or responsible recycling. A key focus is ensuring that electronics are kept out of landfills whenever possible while maintaining strict data security standards. Kucera emphasized that extending the life of IT equipment is central to both sustainability and value creation. “Our number one focus is really buying refurbished instead of new—finding ways to put equipment back into the market wherever possible,” she explained. Through global downstream channels, Dynamic identifies secondary markets where older equipment still holds value, including international buyers and educational use cases. Devices that can be refurbished are repaired and resold, while non-resalable equipment is processed through an advanced in-house shredding and material recovery system that separates components for reuse in raw material supply chains. Data security is tightly integrated into every step of the process. All devices are either fully sanitized using automated software or physically destroyed if wiping is not possible. With all services handled in-house, Dynamic ensures a secure chain of custody from receipt to final disposition, reducing risk and eliminating gaps that can occur with third-party handoffs. Kucera also highlighted the company's culture and mission-driven approach, noting that sustainability, customer trust, and internal values are closely connected. By combining ITAD, resale, and recycling under one umbrella, Dynamic enables organizations to responsibly manage retired IT assets while unlocking additional value and minimizing environmental impact. Their ultimate goal is giving electronics their next best life. Learn more: https://thinkdynamic.com/

In this two-part episode of On The Aisle Podcast, host Tom Alvarez sits down with two stars of the stage production of Pretty Woman: The Musical at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre. The conversations offer an inside look at life in professional theater—from national tours and auditions to the realities of building a career on stage.Part 1: Dani Kucera – From Cheerleader to Leading LadyActor Dani Kucera joins the podcast from backstage during rehearsals to talk about stepping into the lead role of Vivian in Pretty Woman: The Musical. Originally from Pennsylvania and now based in New York City, Kucera shares how her love of theater began unexpectedly after years as a cheerleader before discovering the stage in middle school. She went on to earn a BFA in musical theater from Belmont University, where the program's strong focus on music training and industry connections helped prepare her for professional work.Kucera reflects on life after graduation, including touring more than 50 cities with the national tour of Pretty Woman. The experience, she says, created lifelong friendships and offered a crash course in the realities of performing on the road. Now back at Beef & Boards—where she previously appeared in Legally Blonde: The Musical—she's excited to once again perform for Indianapolis audiences in the romantic musical inspired by the hit film Pretty Woman. She also shares advice for aspiring performers: talent and hard work matter, but kindness and strong relationships are just as important in the theater world. For Kucera, living in New York and performing across the country feels like the fulfillment of a dream she first discovered as a teenager.Part 2: Charlie Fusari – From Ensemble to Leading ManIn the second half of the episode, Alvarez speaks with Charlie Fusari, who plays billionaire Edward Lewis in the production. Fusari discusses his journey from growing up in New Jersey to landing major stage roles, including performing in Jersey Boys and touring nationally with Pretty Woman: The Musical before stepping into the lead role at Beef & Boards.Unlike many performers, Fusari didn't initially plan a theater career. While attending Sacred Heart University, he discovered the stage through a friend involved in a campus production—and quickly caught the “theater bug.” Since then, he's built a steady career touring the country, performing in historic theaters, and developing his craft through training and auditions in New York.Fusari also talks about the unique experience of dinner theater, the challenge of making a famous role his own (originally played on film by Richard Gere), and how the show's pop-rock score by Bryan Adams brings a fresh energy to the beloved story.Behind the CurtainAcross both conversations, listeners get a behind-the-scenes look at the dedication, travel, and constant training required to succeed in musical theater. From auditions and touring life to the thrill of performing live, Kucera and Fusari reveal the passion that drives actors to pursue their craft—and why bringing Broadway-caliber productions to regional audiences remains an essential part of American theater.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Publishing a book is exciting—but without a clear strategy, it's easy to waste time and money on tactics that don't deliver. I've seen authors spend thousands on marketing tools or consultants without first identifying their goals, audience, or messaging. The result? A lot of effort with very little return. That's why I emphasize building a strategic foundation before making big investments. When you know who your book is for, how it fits into your business, and what success looks like, you can make smarter decisions and avoid costly detours. If you're unsure how to make your book work for your business—or you've already spent money on tactics that fell flat—I invite you to a complimentary 30-minute book launch brainstorming session. Jacqueline Kucera, author of “Fearless Mind: How Your Human Brain Beats Artificial Intelligence.”  Marcey Rader wrote “Reclaim Your Workday: Sustainable Productivity Strategies for the New World of Work,” a guide for professionals who are done with burnout and ready to take back control.

Scott welcomes listeners and highlights the importance of celebrating industry professionals. The podcast is broadcasting live from Distribute Tech in Orlando, Florida, with around 17,000 attendees. Scott introduces Kevin Kucera, the guest, and mentions his company, NW Signal Maintenance. Kevin Kucera's Background Kevin shares his background, mentioning his 34-year career in the electrical industry and his experience in electrified transportation. He holds master electrical licenses in seven states and general engineering and contractor licenses in California. Kevin humorously recounts a story about meeting the president of the IBEW, Lonnie Stevenson, during a teacher training event in Ann Arbor. Technical Details of Ultra-Fast Surge Arresters Kevin explains that ultra-fast surge arresters extend the life of lightning arrestor systems and reduce operational expenses by minimizing equipment failures. The arresters shunt transients to Earth without interrupting the system, meeting and exceeding Mil Spec requirements. The technology is relatively new, with a low end of 4000 volts and an upper end of 18 KV, aiming to reach 72 KV in the future. Installation varies depending on whether it's done in an OEM switchgear or in the field, with live installations requiring shutdown procedures. Applications and Future Prospects Kevin sees the ultra-fast surge arresters being integrated into the grid to protect medium voltage equipment over the next 50 to 100 years. He compares the size of their product to a large coffee

In the stillness of a serene morning, the light of inspiration dawns upon us as we venture into the depths of human creativity and perseverance. On today's episode, we welcome the visionary documentarian Susan Kucera, whose lens captures the intricate dance of life and the profound undercurrents of our existence.Susan Kucera, a remarkable filmmaker, began her journey at a tender age, filming alongside her geologist father. From her early experiments with a Bolex camera on the Athabaskan glacier to her latest cinematic endeavors, Susan's path has been one of relentless curiosity and artistic passion. In our conversation, she reveals the essence of her craft, the challenges she faced, and the evolution of her storytelling.Susan's latest documentary, "Living in the Future's Past," starring the legendary Jeff Bridges, is a masterful exploration of humanity's journey through the lens of ecology, energy, and evolution. As Susan describes, "We wanted to look at the whole human meta-story where we've been, where we are, where we're going." This film transcends traditional narratives, weaving together science, philosophy, and poetry to offer a holistic view of our place in the world. In the making of this film, Susan collaborated closely with Jeff Bridges, who not only narrated but also appeared on screen, adding depth and authenticity to the narrative.Their partnership was serendipitous, sparked by a mutual interest in exploring the deeper questions of existence. "Jeff watched another film that I had done called 'Breath of Life,' and he liked it," Susan recalls. This connection set the stage for a fruitful collaboration that would culminate in a thought-provoking documentary.Susan's approach to filmmaking is deeply organic, a testament to her years of experience and intuitive understanding of her subjects. She often works alone, capturing spontaneous moments that a large crew might miss. This method allows her to infuse her films with a sense of immediacy and authenticity. "It's like capturing things that only exist in a split second and aren't there again," she says, reflecting on the fleeting beauty of her subjects. One of the most compelling aspects of Susan's work is her ability to intertwine art and science. Her films are not just documentaries; they are cinematic poems that challenge viewers to see the world through a different lens. As she puts it, "It's not so much what we're thinking about the world we live in; it's how we're thinking about the world we live in." This shift in perspective is at the heart of her storytelling, encouraging audiences to question, reflect, and ultimately, understand their own roles in the grand tapestry of life.In our discussion, Susan also delves into the practical aspects of documentary filmmaking, from the technical challenges of shooting with a RED Epic W camera to the intricate process of editing. Her insights are invaluable for aspiring filmmakers, offering a glimpse into the meticulous and often arduous journey of bringing a documentary to life. She emphasizes the importance of being hands-on, of knowing one's material intimately, and of being open to the unexpected twists and turns of the creative process.Enjoy my conversation with Susan Kucera.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/bulletproof-screenwriting-podcast--2881148/support.

In RO, you have one influent stream coming in, a product water stream that's very low in minerals, a high concentration stream that's low volume but very high concentration of dissolved solids, and it's a pressure-driven process. You use pressure to force the water through the membrane and the membrane retains the minerals and dissolved solids.” -Jane Kucera  “There are six things that affect membrane performance: fouling, scaling, membrane degradation, temperature, pressure, and concentration.”  -Jane Kucera  Jane Kucera's advice for success: “Be proactive.
