Because injuries are a part of life for anyone who is active, we discuss the key issues around both minimizing the occurrence of injury, but also developing a strategy around treating injuries effectively. Rob identifies scenarios where injuries can occur and outlines the process followed to ensure successful outcomes. Individuals must also do their homework when searching for a rehabilitation professional to assist them with their recovery from injury. A plan must be developed that progressively takes the patient from injury and inactivity to greater function and more intense levels of activity regardless if they are a professional athlete, regular adult or young athlete.
