We're in Los Angeles to cover the Oilers' matchup with the Kings, and that meant pushing the Friday episode of Oilersnation Radio back a day so that we could discuss the first game at Crypto.com Arena.Kicking off the Game 3 recap edition of the podcast, we started with a delicious debate about whether or not we think the Oilers will be able to finish the Kings off in five games. As you'll hear, the boys are drinking the Kool-Aid and feel like last night's dominant win is only the beginning. That said, the job is not done, and while we believe the series won't last long, the players can't have that same attitude.Changing gears, we spent a little bit of time talking about all of the amazing Oilers fans who came down to Los Angeles for the games and how it's always incredible to see how well this fanbase travels. There are no better people on earth than fans of the Edmonton Oilers, and it was incredible to celebrate such a dominant win together. Lastly, we wrapped up the Saturday episode of ONR with another round of Ask the Idiots and Hot and Cold Performers before wrapping up the podcast with some score predictions ahead of Game 1 against the Los Angeles Kings. After a big playoff win, thishungover episode of Oilersnation Radio was a blast to record, and we all hope you had just as much fun listening as we did making it. Hosted on Acast. The Edmonton Oilers were sitting pretty after two periods in game one of round one versus the Los Angeles Kings. Leon Draisaitl got the scoring going in the first period with a quick one timer by Joonas Korpisalo which was later followed up by an Evan Bouchard goal on the powerplay. The Oilers dominated the first period making it seem like the Kings had no chance in the game. However, LA found a way to claw back into the game and with 16 seconds left, Anze Kopitar tied the game at three. Alex Iafallo put the final dagger in the coffin by scoring the overtime winner on the powerplay. Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin will be around to hit on all the talking points from last night's game at Rogers Place. Many fans were left frustrated with the officials and if you are one of those fans let us know on the show. You can join the conversation over on the Oilersnation YouTube channel by dropping a comment in the live chat. Finally, former NHL Shawn Belle is in the studio to give his insight on what went wrong for the Copper and Blue after their third period collapse. Hosted on Acast.
